The Mystery – Part 2 – 8-5-25

~ Tell it like it is. Jesus told Truth like it is, without pulling any punches. All the apostles, including the apostle Paul told Truth like it is without pulling any punches. When it comes time to setting the record straight, it is best to be up front with people. They need to hear Truth of what is going on. Because if they are believing a lie that is key to their salvation, then it is best to make sure they hear the message crystal clear. And folks, it doesn’t have to be in their face, but simply share the Word of God with people directly, and that will set the record straight. For example, we know, that Jesus is never going to go to the cross ever again to take away the sins of the world. Because He did that once for ALL sins, for ALL people, for ALL time. And we also know that without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness by God. Therefore we also know, “that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s trespasses (sins) against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:19 Truth silences the lies. Truth sets the record straight. Stand in Truth today.

Ephesians 1:3-14
“3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the One having blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world for us to be holy and blameless before Him, in love 5 having predestined us for divine adoption as sons to Himself through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He has freely given us in the Beloved One, 7 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of trespasses, according to the riches of His grace 8 which He lavished upon us in all wisdom and understanding, 9 having made known to us the mystery of His will according to His pleasure, which He purposed in Him 10 for the administration of the fullness of the times, to bring together all things in Christ—the things in the heavens and the things upon the earth— 11 in Him, in whom also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of the One working all things according to the counsel of His will 12 for us, the ones having first trusted in Christ, to be to the praise of His glory, 13 in whom you also, having heard the word of truth, the gospel your of salvation, in whom also having believed you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance to the redemption of the acquired possession, to the praise of His glory.”

Now I’ll tell you why. Because the only thing that could cause my salvation to get lost is sin, and for me to say I could lose it means Jesus didn’t do what he said he came to do. What did he come to do? Take away the sins of the world. Now again, Guy says that writers are wrong, and if it is right, how do you respond to that truth? By saying yes, but so we’ve become billy goat Christian, but, but, but there’s no but there’s a few around, but that’s not what we’re talking about. There’s no but it’s finished. When something is finished, it means it is over. Are we right or wrong? So I think you’re a false prophet. I think you’re a false prophet when you’re teaching that you can lose what God said is eternal. And I think false prophets are going to hell. Now we’ve sat back and pussy footed that long enough, as far as I’m concerned, and I think it’s time that the evangelical stands up and starts telling truth and starts telling people, you keep on that philosophy and that you’re teaching you’re going to hell. That’s what they tell us. If they got guts to say that to me, I’m going to have guts to say it to them. So Vivian, you know what to say the next time you hear that.” ~ Bob George

Now, do you think we who stand up against that are going to be popular? So you may as well. Forget running for sheriff isn’t going to happen. So he says, You’re going to be hated. Why are you hated? Because of Christ, Jesus. At that time, many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other. In other words, people will come along and say, I don’t like this thing. I like being a Christian, but when I find out that no one likes me, I’m out of here. I want to be liked. I want to be popular. I want to be accepted. I got news for you. If you stand up and say, I am a born again believer, you are not going to be accepted by the world. May as well just get used to it. Better find yourself from new friends because you cannot, my friends, you cannot walk on this earth on both sides of the street. It’s what’s called a double minded man that is unstable in all ways. And I’ve said before, the only person that I’ve ever known able to walk down both sides of the street at the same time as a drunk. And unless you’re a drunk, you can’t walk down both sides of the street at the same time. You better choose which side you’re going to go down. And there comes a decision in every person’s life is, Who am I going to follow? You know that verse that today is the day that I want to follow the Lord today. Otherwise, we’re double minded people. And I don’t care what you say about yourself, you may be the smartest person in the world. The Bible says you’re double minded. You’re a double minded person. You’re going down both sides of the street at the same time. There comes a time in life when you have to say, for me and my house, we’re going to follow the Lord. I don’t care if the world likes it or doesn’t like it. I don’t care if my neighbors like it or they don’t like it. For me and my house, we’re going to follow the Lord. You’re going to be popular in your neighborhood, no, because you’re not going to be invited to all the parties where you got all the booze flowing. Who cares? What do you need to be popular them for? Well, you need to be popular with this so called gang. Think about it for a minute. People are trying to get popular with people who are destroying their lives. You sit around in school and say, oh, I want to get involved with this gang. What’s the gang doing out there? Getting on pot, smoking, pot smoking, taking drugs, alcohol, sex, everything else is that the group you want to get around? See what sounds like fun to me. Well, go give it a whack and see how much fun it is. If any of you have tried it, I could call on you to come testify, because I want to guarantee you those things are not as fun as they look like. That’s why you never see them in the movies. You don’t see the repercussion in the movies, you just see the fun, don’t you see the person romping around in bed, but you don’t see their must up hair the next day. See everybody looking just nice as could be. Don’t see the hangovers. Don’t see the throwing up. Don’t see the fact you can’t open your eyes in the morning. All you see is the good stuff, the good fun stuff, so called fun stuff, which means acting like an idiot. Make up your mind, guys, we got to make our minds up, especially with our youth of the day, you got to make your mind up. Do I want this direction? Or I want this direction? You say, Well, I can’t have any fun as a Christian. Well, that’s pretty sad to think you can’t have fun by doing what God has called you to do. As a matter of fact, I never had so much fun in my life as when I became a Christian. And I never remember anything as dull as a New Year’s Eve party. And we used to go to them, you know, get around these little things. Drink. Yippee. Yippie, yippie, yippie. Oh boy, that’s a lot of fun. Wake up in the morning with the hangovers of bad you can’t even get out of bed. Oh, did I have fun last night? Yeah, we’ll have fun. What should I do? Go get another drink. Fun. Really fun. Well, let’s get off that kick.

You’re going to be handed over to be persecuted, put to death, going to be hated because of me at that time, many will turn away from the faith and betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Folks, I want to tell you something. We look at that thing, false prophets, and we think, Oh, those are the Mormons. Who’s a Jehovah’s Witness. What about the people who are in our churches today who are teaching legalism? What about that? I. What do you have to call them? A false prophet. If I’m in here teaching you, which I heard this morning on radio. I don’t know why I listen to it just irritates me. But a whole presentation with music background, beautiful thing about the beauty of tithing and how we should be tithing, and I thought to myself, What in the world is going on here? Now, guys, I want to clarify something. I am not against giving. In fact, I wish more of you had the gift of it. So I’m not talking about giving. I’m talking about a compulsory tithing, which was an Old Testament way and means of supporting the Levitical priesthood period. That’s why God put in tithing to support the Levitical priesthood. I ask you, is Levi your priest, or is Jesus? If Levi is your priest, keep a tithing. But if Jesus is your priest, we need to learn to free will give. We need to learn how to give out of our hearts, to give out of our poverty in many instances, as many people did, to help us pay off this building, to give out of your poverty, to give joyfully, to give in accordance to what you do have, not what you don’t have. That eliminates the idea that if you don’t have money for your tithe, go borrow it. Go steal it. I’d rather be a thief and not be a tither. Don’t bother. Go put it on your credit card, guys, that is not truth. I’m not teaching what I’m doing because I like to get upset, but it’s not truth. And yet, you have the biggest, most well known preachers in America get up every Sunday, and especially in January and February, and teach tithing. Where do you find tithing in the new covenant? How many of you know what the New Covenant is? When did it go into effect? At the death of Christ. So from the death of Christ on, the teaching in the Bible, from the death of Christ on that eliminates the Gospels, from the death of Christ forward, what is the teaching? Do you find tithing in there? Any place it’s not there. Why isn’t it there? Because the old is gone. Tithing was Old Covenant. We now are in a New Covenant, a covenant of grace, where he says there’s sins and lawless acts, I’ll remember no more, and where these have been, not will be, have been forgiven. Have been it’s a past act done. There’s no more sacrifice for sins. You go to God and say, Oh Lord, please forgive me. He says, Where’s your sacrifice? Because without the shedding of blood, they’re in a forgiveness. So what are you asking me to do when you don’t have a sacrifice? See, we’d say that of the J@@s, see, the J@@s, they don’t have their sacrificial system. How do they get forgiven? Well, I got a better question. How are you keeping yourself forgiven if you think you aren’t? Because where’s your sacrifice, not the shedding of blood. There is no forgiveness, and there isn’t any more shedding of blood, is there. That’s why Christ said when I’m coming back, I’m not coming back to bear sin, I’m not coming back to sacrifice. I’ve already done it, coming back to bring salvation for those who are waiting on me. And so my friends, you got false prophets today? Person that’s teaching you that Jesus isn’t God. Is a false prophet. Person who’s teaching is thinking about singing, holy, holy, holy Lord, God, almighty, talking about the Trinity, Blessed Trinity. People say no, isn’t a trinity. God isn’t Father Son. God, Father, Son, Holy Ghost, just, just the Father. Then other people say, no, just Jesus. The Bible says there’s a trinity, yeah, but I don’t understand it. Don’t worry, nobody else does either. But we can comprehend it. Can’t We? We can apprehend it. Because the Bible declares it that God is made up of spirit. We don’t know what spirit looks like, but it says he’s made up of God the Father, God the Son. Holy Spirit, yet there’s one God, just like an egg shell, white yoke, one egg, one egg, three parts, one egg. False Prophet, teaching that the trinity is not true.

Truth is truth, and if you’re not teaching it, you’re a false prophet. It says there are going to be many of these, many of them, many of them, many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. That’s why they’re there to deceive you, because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. Why does it grow cold? Because of our love of wickedness, we like sin more than we like God. So our love of wickedness causes our hearts to grow cold toward God, yeah. How many have ever had that happen in your life? But he who stands firm to the end will be saved, and this gospel of the kingdom will be preached to the whole world as a testimony to all nations. And then it says the end will come. Now, folks, then the end will come. So again, you look at that and say, Well, is he there talk, therefore talking about the end times, and so all of these things that they’re talking about, nations rising against nation, it seems to me that all these things have already taken place. He says, Yeah, they have, and they’ll come. Continue to take place. You’re not going to have a time in history when nations are going to rise up against a nation. There’s going to be wars and rumors of war. It’s going to be going on forever, but it’s going to be intensified in the end times. So he said, When you see standing now, you are talking about a prophecy, are we not? That has not yet been fulfilled. When you see standing in the holy place the abomination that causes desolation, spoken of through the prophet Daniel. Let the reader understand and let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let no one on the roof of his house go down and take anything out of the house. Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers Pray that your flight will not take place in the winter or on the Sabbath, For then there will be great distress unequaled from the beginning of the world until now and never to be equaled again. Now, guys, there are people, there are people, and sincere people, and again, when you’re dealing with prophecy, I believe that, quite frankly, when we’re going to know that prophecy has been fulfilled is when it’s fulfilled. I don’t think anybody figures it out in advance all of the prophecies that were in the Old Testament about Jesus? Did anyone have that figured out? But a student of prophecy would sit there and they would claim they had it figured out. They probably could write books on it make some money, but no one knew what it meant until Jesus came, the fulfillment of those prophecies, that he was going to be born in Bethlehem, that he was going to be born of a virgin, all of that was, ah, that’s what it meant when he was born of a virgin in Bethlehem, that the Messiah. And in the prophecies, you had a reigning Messiah, and you had a suffering Messiah that are declared, and people would look at that, but it was, it’s kind of like a mountain peaks that from a distance, you can look at a mountain peak here and a mountain peak here, and they look like they’re right next to each other, but the fact is, they could be hundreds of miles away from each other. And the same thing was true. People were wanting these to be together. So they were looking for the suffering Messiah and the reigning Messiah at the same time. They did not realize that when Jesus was talking about he was going to be the suffering Messiah, but later on, at the end times, is where he’s going to be the ultimate reigning Messiah. Today, the Jewish people will say, when I see a man who comes into Israel and saves Israel and saves it from the world’s persecution, that’s when I’ll believe he’s the Messiah, not until they are looking for the reigning Messiah, and they do not equate the suffering Messiah with the Messiah at all. So we’re talking about here an event that when he looks at this event and talks about the fact there will be great distress unequaled from the beginning of the world until now, never be equaled again. You’re talking about an event there that obviously has not taken place yet. You have a lot of people that interpret this passage that already has taken place. It took place in 70 ad when Titus went in and destroyed Jerusalem. That’s when the walls came down. That’s when he that’s what he said the stones that you see will never will there won’t be one on top of another that’s already occurred. And there is prophecy in there that has already occurred, but not the ultimate prophecy, because obviously there has not been an event that took place that is unequaled from the beginning of the world until now, never to be equaled again. Never been an event to take place like that. And so when you stop to think of some of the catastrophes of man, you think of the bomb that we dropped on Japan. You think of the atom bomb, the hydrogen bomb, the destruction that takes place. And you know, those things have taken place. And you talking about an event that will never be equaled again. Those events are going to be equaled again. And so we know something about this prophecy here, that some of it could have been a fulfillment, but not all of it. And it’s not dealing with something that has happened already, but you’re dealing with something that’s going to happen in the future. So it says, if the elect in those days will be shortened at that time, if anyone says to you, look, here’s the Christ, or there he is, don’t believe it. For false christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles. So you’re going to have people who are appearing claiming. Seeing miracles and deceiving even the elect, if ever possible. So he said, See, I’ve told you ahead of time, so let’s not be surprised. We need to take heed to this. You know, you got people that say, Oh, I saw Jesus. No, you didn’t. Not according to this, not according to this. You didn’t. He said, The next time you see Jesus, the whole world’s going to see him. When you see Jesus, he’s going to appear in the clouds, and the whole world is going to see him. So don’t say I saw him out in the field or I saw him in my bedroom. People will talk about the fact that I had this vision, that Jesus saw Jesus. I’m sorry. I do not believe that, because the Bible says that the next time you see Jesus, he’s going to appear in the clouds. So I have a little bit of an advantage in knowing what truth is and what it isn’t. And so do you if you read the scriptures. So I’ve told you ahead of time, so don’t be deceived. If someone came out and ran into here and said, Hey, Bob Jesus, not fixing the side. I just say, keep your seat. Keep your seat. No need in going out there. He’s not out there. If anyone tells you he’s out in the desert, don’t go out there. Or he is in the inner rooms. He’s back in the office. Don’t go there. Don’t believe it. Said just plain don’t believe it. You don’t even need to wonder, Should I go or not? Just plain don’t believe it. Yeah, but this guy told me so nice. I don’t care who he is, don’t believe it. Hey, you got all kinds of people who have seen things, you know. And we make, we make statues out of and, you know, we see faces and, and I had a vision of Mary.

Where do you read anything? In the Bible about having visions of Mary? Where in the Scripture talking about Mary coming back? Guys, I hate to do this. That is false prophets. I don’t care how nice you are, I don’t care how good you look. That is false teaching, period. False teaching done by false prophets. It should not be listened to and it should not be tolerated. Now, he says, Don’t go out there, For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the West. So it will be with the coming of the Son of Man. Wherever there’s a carcass there, vultures will gather immediately after the distress of those days, the sun will be darkened. The moon will not give light. That hadn’t happened. Stars will fall from the sky that had happened. Heavenly bodies will be shaken that didn’t happen yet at that time, the Son of Man will appear in the sky. And all of the nations, not some of them, all of them will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Who are they? The people who have already gone to be with Christ? Jesus gathered for this event and learned the lesson from the fig tree. As soon as the twigs get tender and the leaves come out, you know summer is near. And even so, when you see all of these things, you will know that it is near right at the door. I tell you the truth, this generation, and basically this should be race of people, this Jewish race of people will certainly not pass away until all of these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away. But my words will never pass away. Now, folks, as some people would say, because and this translated generation to you the truth that this generation now that would mean people back from from the time of Jesus proclaiming this about the next 47 years, a generation will be there. Well, how can that be? In the next generation, the sun wasn’t shaken, or the heavenly bodies weren’t shaken. Stars fell from the sky, and Moon gave light, Sun darken, all of those things that are talking about. So it’s not generation. It should not be translated generation. The Greek word for this could be translated either generation or race. Well, it’s obvious which translation needs. To be translated. It’s a race of people, the Jewish people. Now, is that true? Isn’t amazing through all these years, have any of you ever seen a Hittite or a midtite or an Amorite? Any of you everybody ever knew? Anyone that ever knew an Amorite or Hittite or a midtite, or any of those other ites? Anybody ever knew one? No, but you can spot a Jew on every street corner. They’re here. They’re part of God’s plan. They’re going to be at the end times that’s going to be centered around, not Washington, DC, but Israel. When the Lord comes back, hidden, coming here, say, How could he not come here, probably because we’re broke.

He’s coming back to Israel. It’s going to plant his feet just where he left, the Mount of Olives. There’s going to come a time when every knee is going to bow and every every tongue is going to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. So you’re going to be some days, guys. So I tell you the truth that this grace will not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away. But My words will never pass away, prophecy, prophecy that has not yet been fulfilled. Well, I think we get the idea. Now let’s turn back to Ephesians. Here was a prophecy of old that now has been fulfilled. And so we’re we’re on great grounds here, because we not only see the prophecy or the mystery, but we also are able to enjoy the fulfillment of it. So as he says, this mystery, this in verse chapter one, verse nine, made known to us this mystery of his will, according to His good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ to be put into effect when the times have reached their fulfillment, to bring all things in heaven and earth under one head that is Christ.
