~ “However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come.” John 16:13
~ We are so quick to disregard the Spirit of Truth, and His teaching, even when He lives in true children of God. We depend on so many other things to convince us of Truth, instead of the number One person, the Spirit of Truth Himself. God living in us, is our Counselor, yet, we go running to Man counselors instead of depending on the One Counselor that has ALL the answers. We watch the News, as though that is Truth. We read history books, as though that is Truth. We depend on pastors and teachers, as though they know ALL Truth. We lean on our own understanding of things and instead of asking God for His wisdom and understanding in ALL matters we depend on Man. We give lip service to the word of God. We trust the teaching of scientists over that of the Scrptures. We have even listened to demons unawares that they are teaching lies, with the intention to deceive us all. Folks, it’s time to wake up. Stop listening to what Man says, and seek out wisdom and understanding directly from God. The things in the world are a lie that we have been taught since birth. We live in the greatest period of deception known to Man. Ask the Spirit of Truth to reveal ALL Truth to you, and He will do as the Lord Jesus said He would do. He will declare to you what is to come. Trust in Him alone.

Pray to God:
Do you really want to know the WHOLE Truth of what is going on today?
Lord Jesus, teach me the truth of the world today and give me the wisdom to know the truth and identify the lies of the devil. Thank you God.”
~ Bob George discusses the centrality of Jesus Christ in Christianity, emphasizing that Jesus is either the Son of God, a madman, or a liar. He explains that spiritual understanding comes only through the Holy Spirit, and He the Spirit of God indwells believers permanently. Bob contrasts the “old man” without the Spirit with the “new man” with the Spirit, showing through Scriptures that without the Spirit, one cannot truly understand the Bible. He highlights the importance of faith, dependency on God, and the role of the Holy Spirit in guiding believers and revealing God’s truths.
“So God’s revelation of Jesus Christ can only be understood by his Spirit, and that’s something we have to come to grips with. That natural man, natural man is the man without the spirit of God living in him. When it talks about in the scripture about being the old man who was that? That was Bob George without the spirit of God living in me? Who’s the new man? Bob George with the spirit of God living in me. What’s the difference? The spirit of God and where he lives. And so, natural man, until you come to a relationship, a spiritual relationship with the living God, you cannot understand spiritual things. You can go to seminary, you can get more degrees than a thermometer, but if you’re not born again, you do not know what the word of God means. Now, you can learn what it says, so can an actor, and you can repeat the lines in a movie quite convincingly, but you do not know what it means unless the Spirit of God lives in you, and the spirit of God reveals to you what it means. We’re told in First Corinthians, the man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, they are foolish to him, and he cannot understand them, why? Because spiritual things have to be discerned spiritually, you cannot discern spiritual things naturally, you can think you’re discerning them, but you cannot according to the word of God. Why do we have so many interpretations of the word of God? Because of people not having the Spirit of God living in them, and therefore they cannot know the meaning of the word of God, or people who do have the Spirit of God living in us, and pay no attention to it.
In other words, I would rather study Greek and Hebrew, and then quote that, than I would to let the Spirit of God reveal the meaning of the word of God to me. And I would rather depend upon my intellect rather than allow the spirit of God to reveal to me, because you see, the spirit of God has the ability to reveal the truth of God’s word to a little child, as well as to a person who has a doctor’s degree. So, what we have to understand, that understanding of the word of God comes from the Spirit, and the Spirit alone.” ~ Bob George

Bob George 0:28
All that God is was revealed to us in flesh and blood in the person of Christ Jesus. We cannot understand spiritual, and so God became flesh and dwelt among us as the only begotten son of the Father, full of grace and truth, so that I can understand to the best of our finite ability who God is and what He’s like. C. S. _____ said this: a man who is merely a man and said the sort of things that Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic on the level of a man who says he’s a poached egg, or else he would be the devil of hell, and you must make your choice. Either this man was and is the Son of God, or else a madman, or something worse. You can shut him up as a fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon, or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God. But let us not come up with any patronizing nonsense about him being a great moral teacher or a human teacher, he has not left that open to us. He did not intend to. A man who claimed himself to be God is either a liar or he’s a lunatic. If you came in here today and I said, ‘I got good news for you, so glad you’re here, I’m God,’ I would hope this place would vacate immediately, because you’d be looking at an idiot or you’d be looking at a total liar and imposter. And so when Jesus claimed himself to be God, those are the only options we have. He either knew full well that he wasn’t God and was lying out of his teeth, saying that he was perpetuating upon mankind the worst atrocity that humanity has ever known, because if Jesus Christ was claiming to be something that he wasn’t, and he was an imposter, he has doomed 1000s for 2000 years, millions for 2000 years to hell, saying I’m the only way to God.
On the other hand, he could have been a man who thought that he was God, when indeed he is not. And in that case, you’d need to put him on a funny farm and get out a white jacket and tie him up with it, as C. S. _____ said, on the par of someone claiming to be a poached egg. Be that ridiculous. The only option that you have with Jesus is he’s a liar, a lunatic, or else he’s who he claimed to be, and that’s God.
So God’s revelation of Jesus Christ can only be understood by his Spirit, and that’s something we have to come to grips with.
So, what we have to understand, that understanding of the word of God comes from the Spirit, and the Spirit alone.
Now, Jesus reveals the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to man, while he. Here on earth he said, I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you for how long? Forever. So the Holy Spirit is called our Counselor. That’s one of the things that the Holy Spirit is called. Now that should be good news, because He doesn’t charge 100 bucks an hour, and so He is a counselor. If you’re born again, you can never say I didn’t know. You had the ability to draw upon the counsel from the word of God. And so do I. Do we always listen to it? No, but is it always there? Absolutely. And so he says he will be with you forever, and it’s, and he’s called the Spirit of what truth the world cannot accept him, because he neither sees him nor knows him, but you know him because He lives with you and will be in you. So, where does the Holy Spirit dwell? In you when you are born again? I tell you the truth, it is for your good, he said, that I’m going away. Now wouldn’t that have been encouraging news? Here you had been with Jesus, the most loving man that ever walked on the face of the earth. He says, ‘Got good news for you, I’m going away. That would not be good news, and it was not received as good news. And they asked him, ‘What do you mean you’re going away?’ He said, ‘It’s for you, it’s for your good that I’m going away.’ So Jesus said, I am going away for your good. Everything that God did was for our good. Remember, He talked about creation. What did He create this world for? For us, for our good. He said, unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you, but if I go, I’ll send Him to you.
Now, what does that tell you about the Holy Spirit of God? If the Counselor will not come to you until I go away. Then was there anyone before he went away who had the Holy Spirit of God living in them? No, because I won’t send Him unless I go away. So I can’t go away when I’m not here. The Holy Spirit of God in the Old Testament came upon people for divine service, but the Holy Spirit of God never lived in people. That’s why you’re here in David’s prayer, praying that the Holy Spirit of God will not depart from him. I wouldn’t pray that today. Would you pray that today, knowing if you’re born again, and what it say about the Spirit living in you will be with you for how long? Forever. Now, what does that mean? It means forever. So, if the Holy Spirit lives in you forever, would you pray piously, O Lord, please don’t leave me? Would that be faith? No, it’d be stupidity, because if God says I’ll never leave you, then that means I’ll never leave you. So if I’ll never leave you, then why would you pray, please don’t leave me. But until the Spirit of God came to live in believers, it was quite normal for David to pray, “Don’t take the Holy Spirit from me.” Why? Because the Spirit would come upon people and then depart from people. That doesn’t happen today, does it? Now you know why he said, “It’s good for you that I go away,” because this transaction is going to be permanent. So He said, “I’ll send Him to you.” He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Jesus Christ, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit, who is the promise of the Spirit? Jesus. So we have received the promise of the Spirit of Jesus Christ coming to indwell us as our Lord and Savior.
Now on the last of the greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink, and whoever believes in me, as the scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him. Now, folks, he’s saying something to us here, that when we come to Him, we have living water. Now that’s an illustration. You live, and you cannot live without water, can you? He’s your life, He’s our very life is Jesus. And He says again that when you’ve drunk of me, you will never be thirsty again. If we have Jesus, and we know who we have, not the Jesus of our imagination, but the Jesus of the Scriptures, the one who was the Word, who became flesh. He says, You will never thirst again, you will never hunger again, because I’m the bread of life. Now, if that is true, then why are we still seeking, and why are we still thirsty? I’ll tell you why, because we have not drunk of the living water. We may be saved, but we are not walking in dependency on that living water. We haven’t come to that finalization that says I’m convinced of something that nothing can separate me from the love of God, and I’m convinced that He has given me everything that I need for life and godliness, and have already been given. There’s nothing else to seek.
Faith comes to an understanding of finality. Faith is all. Always leading you to finality. When God said, I looked at my creation, and I said, “Good,” very good. What’d he do? Well, he rested. Why did he rest? His work was over. When Jesus said, “It is finished,” what’d he mean? “It’s finished. Finished. Why did he sit down at the right hand of God? It’s finished. What does he mean? The work was over. The work that I did at the cross of reconciling the world unto himself, not counting their sins against him, is over. And when He returns, he is not coming to bear sin, but to bring salvation for those who are waiting on him. Why isn’t he coming to bear sin? He’s already done it. He’s already rested from that work. Now the only thing left to do is bring life to the dead. He’s rested from his work of reconciliation. There is no more forgiveness to be executed on your behalf by God. If there was, he’d have to die again. Is he going to do that? No, he said, I died once, that was enough, and it’s finished, it’s over, it’s done. What does faith say? Thank you, thank you. What does religion say? Oh, Lord, please forgive me. Well, if you’re lost, you ought to pray that, but if you’re saved, then you need to understand something. It’s finished. It means it’s over. Forgiveness is over. And when you are in Christ, you are a forgiven person. That’s a part of your identity, forgiven person. Now, when you come to understand that there’s only one thing that can happen to you, you just live rejoicing in the streams of living water flowing without you. Now, if that doesn’t make you happy, you’re dead as a hammer. There’s nothing else left to do, that’s what he’s saying. Nothing. When God says something’s finished, it means nothing else left to do. Did God create anything new after he said it’s over? No, and salvation – there’s nothing else left to do. I’ve done it all. How do you enter into it? Only one way, and that’s by faith.
Now, how does a man receive the Spirit of God? He receives it through new birth. Remember him talking to Nicodemus. I tell you the truth, that no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he’s born of water and the Spirit, flesh gives birth to flesh, the spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying that you must be born again. It means when you’re born, you’re born in a sack of water, and that’s physical birth, and you need to be born of the Spirit, and that’s spiritual birth. He goes ahead to explain it: flesh gives birth to flesh, the Spirit gives birth to spirit. The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you can’t tell where it comes from or where it’s going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.

Bob George 13:32
We’re told in Romans, you, however, are not controlled by the flesh, but by the Spirit. If the Spirit of God lives in you, and if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. Could you be born again and not be born again of the Spirit? Could you be born again and not be indwelt by the Spirit? No. So, is there such a thing as saying you’re born again today and you receive the Spirit tomorrow? The truth is that you couldn’t be born again unless the Spirit of God indwells you. And so, when the Spirit of God comes to indwell you, you’re born again of the Spirit, and if the Spirit doesn’t live in you, you don’t belong to him. The spirit reveals his truth to you. God reveals himself by the spirit of God. It’s written, no eye has seen, no ear has heard, nor mind is conceived of what God has prepared for those who love him. But God has what? Revealed it to who? To us, how? By his Spirit you ever going to understand the word of God truly, unless the Spirit reveals it to you? No. Now, does that mean that God was didn’t know what he was doing when he gave us teachers? What’s the purpose of a teacher? What can I do for you as a teacher? I can teach you what the word of God says, but you can be taught yourself on that. I can teach you what the Spirit of God has revealed to me, what it means, and you can listen to that, but that doesn’t mean that He’s convinced you of it yet. And you may say, well, that’s what it means, because that’s what it means to Bob. That’s not very smart to do, but it is an example to say, here’s what the Spirit of God has taught me. What this means now, you go into the Spirit of God and let the Spirit of God teach you what that means. If you’re in a spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you, and you’re reading the Word and asking the Spirit of God to reveal what it means, and I’m sitting on the other part of the world asking the same thing, you and I are going to be in agreement with what it says. The Spirit does not contradict each other.
The Spirit enables us to understand God’s grace. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. It says, for who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? I do not have a clue what you’re thinking right now, because only your spirit knows what you’re thinking, and that’s why a lot of times when you’re talking to someone, they can sit there and look at you and not hear a word you’re saying, and nod at you. No one knows what you’re thinking except your spirit. Now it says in the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now, if you just stop there, you’re in trouble, because you say, if no one knows what I’m thinking except my spirit that lives in me, and no one knows what God’s thinking except the Spirit that lives in him. How in the world am I going to know what God’s thinking? Well, he tells us you have not received the spirit of the world, but the spirit who is from God. How come? So that you may understand what God has freely given us. So you see what it’s saying here is no one knows what you’re thinking except the spirit. No one knows what God is thinking except his Spirit. So what did God do? Give you his Spirit, so that you could know what God’s thinking. Now, is that a good deal? That means, what does that mean? It means you and I have the ability to know what God’s thinking. Well, where did God reveal to us what He’s thinking? Well, through His word and through His counselor, the counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I’ve said to you. Is that good news? God’s Spirit will always point you to Jesus.
When He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all truth. Now, again, folks, who is truth? Jesus. He identified Himself, did He not, as the truth. So, the Holy Spirit of God is going to be guiding you to Jesus. He said he will not speak on his own. He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you of what is yet to come. Now, isn’t it interesting that Jesus also said, “I do nothing on my own, and I don’t speak on my own. I only speak what the Father tells me to speak, and I only do what the Father tells me to do. And the Holy Spirit of God did the same thing. The Spirit of God showed us dependency upon the Father’s instruction, and so did Jesus. He will bring glory to me. So is the Holy Spirit there to bring glory to himself or to bring glory to Jesus. When you’re bringing glory to the Holy Spirit, what are you doing? Is that what the Holy Spirit came to do, to bring glory to himself? No, he came to bring glory to who? To Jesus. Now, when you have people out there trying to bring glory to the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit would say to them, What are you bringing glory to me for? I came to bring glory to Jesus. And so He’ll bring glory to me by taking what is mine and making it known unto you. So Jesus said, the Holy Spirit’s job is to take the things of me, Jesus, and make it known unto you.
Now, that’s the job of the Spirit of God. Aren’t you glad we don’t have to depend upon our own intellect for all of this? That God says, ‘If you will trust me, I will lead you into all truth. Now, the Spirit of God reveals the meaning of Scripture. Jesus, when he met with the men on the road to Emmaus, did they know the scripture? They sure did. They said, Did you hear this? They knew the scripture. Did they know what it meant? No. No one knew what it meant until Jesus revealed it. Did the Old Testament saints know what the revelation through the Bible meant? No. Did they understand the triune God? No, their God was the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Did they understand the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? No, because it wasn’t revealed until Jesus revealed it, and until the Spirit of God revealed it to us. And so, beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the scriptures concerning himself. He went back through Genesis all the way through the Old Testament, explaining himself in the Old Testament. They then had Jesus with them. We now have Jesus in us, and we get so proud of what man does, and don’t think anything about this truth, that the God of this universe, big enough to create the universe, is yet small enough to live inside of you and me. It says we have the mind of Christ. We have the ability to think with God’s thoughts. Now, if I have the ability to think with God’s thoughts, what in the world am I trying to think with mind for? And that’s why I tell people God gave us two ears and one mouth for that reason, and you know we put all of this emphasis on talking to God, and talking to God, and talking to God. Said, “Quit talking and start listening,” because until you’ve heard what He had to say, you don’t have anything intelligent to say. Prayer is meaningless if you don’t know what God said, because all you’re doing is talking about our own intelligence. It’s which, what did God say was foolishness to us. And so he said, “You got the mind of Christ to sit around, act silly. He gave us his mind so I can think the thoughts of God to get my mind focused up there to look at life from His perspective rather than mine, to elevate ourselves above our circumstances, looking down on them from God’s vantage point, rather than looking at them from our vantage point. That’s why He gave us His mind. Is there any gift that God could have given you any greater than giving His mind? None, because when you have the mind of God, you got the wisdom of God available to us. We don’t always use it.
Now, in Christ Jesus, God revealed how man should live. Remember, we talked about this before, that our attitude should be like that of Christ Jesus, should be the same as that of Christ Jesus, who, being in the very nature, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but he made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness, and being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death, even death on the cross. I want you to note there that Paul said our attitude should be like that of Christ Jesus, not our action. Now, what if he.. I don’t know what people are thinking on that type of thing. What Jesus was talking about is, is I’m in singular form right now, but when I go, you’re going to be my body, and my body is going to be all over this world, and my Spirit is going to be living in people all over this world, and so Paul said, I want you to emulate his attitude, not his actions, because man looks on the outside appearance, God looks on the heart. So what God is looking at with you and me is what’s your attitude? Is your attitude like that of Jesus, who, although he was God, he behaved as a true man as he intended man to be? What do you mean as he intended man to be? How did he create Adam? To live in total dependency upon God. When did Adam fall? When he stopped living in dependency on God and started living in dependency upon himself. Now here’s the attitude that he said is for you and me, not his actions, because if Jesus said, “I don’t do anything unless the Father tells me to do it,” and I’m imitating what he did, am I getting my instruction from God? No, I’m just imitating what you did.
That’s what’s taking place today in the church, where we have this attitude that anything God can do has to be done in mass, so it’s you all come, and the sign of success is everybody doing the same thing at the same time, same place, the same degree of enthusiasm, and of course Satan’s got you there, because if that’s what success is, all I got to do is to get you not to want to do that, and all my attention is on you, because you’re keeping me from being successful, because success is getting everybody to do the same thing, the same time, same place, same degree of enthusiasm, and you don’t want to do it, so all my attention is on you to get you to do it, and the rest of you just kind of sitting by the wayside. So that’s how Satan paralyzes the church.
It’s not my responsibility to do what you do, and it’s not your responsibility to do what I do. It’s your responsibility to do what the Lord tells you to do. So, Jesus answered the question. I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself. He can do only what he sees the Father doing, because whatever the Father does, the Son does also. And the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, to your amazement, he will show him even greater things than these. I, by myself, He said, can do nothing. I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself, but for Him who sent me. He said, I say nothing unless the Father tells me to say it, for I did not speak of my own accord, He said, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it. Jesus said, when you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am the one I claim to be, and that I do nothing on my own, but I speak just what the Father has taught me. Did Jesus ever take, therefore, the initiative of his own action? Was he the cause of his own effect, the dynamic of his own action? No, that’s what God is, and He was God, but He laid that prerogative aside when He took upon Himself our earth suit, and He said, I’m going to teach you how to live. If I live as God, I’m not going to teach you anything. You’re not God, you never will be God. I’ve got to teach you how to live as a man. And so He became a man to teach man how to live in total dependency upon the Father. Jesus could have been the dynamic of his own action, he could have initiated everything, he could have spoken into existence things that are not as if they were, that’s what God does, but he said, No, I wouldn’t teach you how to live that way, and so he walked in total dependency in the Father.
Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me, and the words that I say are not just my own, rather it’s the Father living in me who’s doing his work. Believe me when I say that I’m in the Father and the Father is in me. Well, and he finally, just in frustration, said, Or else just believe because of the evidence of the miracles I do. You can see the frustration of the Lord with us, he said, Can you get it? Guys, you are a created being. Your God is the creator. He’s the initiator of all things. You’re the responder to him, not the initiator. You don’t get God to do what you want him to do. You live to do what God wants you to do. Don’t you get it? And he showed us how to live. This revelation depends of dependency was understood by the disciples. Finally, they finally got it. In Hebrews, it says, Remember your leaders who spoke the word of God to you, and consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate what? Their faith.
We’re not here to follow the crowd, folks. You’re there to follow the Lord. That’s why, when you get a body of Christ together, every part should be listening to the head. My finger isn’t imitating my other finger. Everybody wants to control each other, get our fingers together, and decide what the thumbs ought to be doing on behalf of the head. God didn’t call you to do that. He called you to be an individual and to rejoice in being yourself. You’re unique in His sight, and He said, I live in you, so that I can live a life through you. That way, you don’t have to go around controlling people, because if I realize that God wants to control you, then why should I want to control you? He said to this, you were called because Jesus Christ suffered for you, leaving an example that you should follow in his steps. He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth. And when they hurled insults at him, he did not retaliate. When he suffered, he made no threats, and said he entrusted himself to Him who judges justly. Why did he do that? Well, the Father told him to. Remember, Jesus said, ‘As the Father sent me, so send I you.’ And just as you have received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him. How do we receive Christ? By faith. How are we supposed to live in him and walk in Him? By faith. And that’s what God wants us to have: faith. What is faith? It’s the faith in him. There is nothing or anyone else to seek Jesus said, I am the bread of life, and he who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.

Listen to the Salvation message today!
Stand on the firmness of truth. Don’t keep going back and forth. Thank Him that the forgiveness issue is settled.
Let’s pray together:
- Lord Jesus,
- I thank you for taking away my sins on the cross,
- never ever to see them again.
- Having done that, I now thank you for giving me eternal life,
- through your resurrection.
- I now receive that life.
- And I am going stand in the fact that I am a child of the living God.
- In Jesus Holy name I pray.
- Amen
All believers are now brothers and sisters in Christ.
John 3:3
3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
