Faith Says Thank You to God

~ Faith is responding with thanksgiving to the forgiveness that God has already done for us. It is walking in unbelief to keep asking God to forgive you over and over again. It’s calling God a Liar. If you ask over and over again, it is obvious that you don’t believe Jesus forgave ALL your sins at the cross. When we come to Christ Jesus, we are made perfect (complete) in the sight of God. We are set apart (holy). We can not do anything to make us more holy.

“If I am asking if I if I ask you to forgive me, it’s because I believe that you haven’t forgiven me otherwise, why would I ask you to forgive me? In essence when we’re asking God to do what he has already accomplished. We’re saying, I don’t believe you accomplished that. Now you can argue and spin that all you want. But that is the only conclusion that you can have to something if I asked you, if you just gave me $100 bill, and I came up and asked you how will you give me $100? Bill? Oh, you said just gave you one? Don’t? And I say well, no, no. So in other words, I didn’t believe he gave me one. So when if we’re going to walk by faith, we have to stop, step back. And as you were talking about with with the law there Hal we have to step back and say, Hold on a minute. What did God accomplish? And why did he do what he did? Exactly? Because we’re dead, and the law killed us? Well, if I don’t know that, what in the world do I have any appreciation for the resurrection for? And if I don’t know that Jesus suffered and died, because I’m just a half sinner? That I don’t even know I don’t even know who that Jesus is that there is no Jesus who died on a cross for some sins, that Jesus didn’t exist and I’m just the impression Hal that there’s a lot of people that have not come to the True JESUS. Now we talk about the Mormons on that You’re not what’s true. What about the Evangelical that believes that Jesus only died for some sins because that’s evidently what they believe, because he keep asking Him to forgive them, instead of instead of thanking them. One of the ladies at our conference at Corpus Christi, said that her pastor and said to her, Well, that certainly sounds like awfully prideful to me that you’re not asking God to forgive you. And I said to her, no, it’s very opposite. If I understand that Christ has already forgiven me, and I had nothing to do with that, the humility of that says, Thank you. Humility says, Thank you, pride says, do something. Because what you’re saying is God, I want you to do something. So now I’m ordering God around, and he’s got to respond to me. So it’s a very opposite the person that thinks that they’re doing all the confession is the prideful one, the person who is thanking him for what God accomplished, that we had nothing to do with that humility, and God gives grace to the humble and he resists the proud. So exactly. We just have to, you know, pray that people will come to their senses sometime and to learn how important it is for us to walk by faith and truth and not in supposition.”
