Jesus Is The Way, The Truth and The Life

~ “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6

~ There is only one way to the Father and that is through Jesus Himself. We are not saved by Catholic religion nor by Protestant religion. And as you come to the knowledge of Truth, the Holy Spirit directs you on your paths. He will be the one that points out all Truth to you. And who knows, He may want you to witness to people in your sphere of influence. He might want you to be a spokesperson for Him right where you are at. But He will be constantly be renewing your mind with Truth. And when you hear the lies being taught by others, they will stick out like a sore thumb, when you have the Holy Spirit living in you, because he will be showing you the Truth and will be renewing your mind.

So focus on telling people the Truth about Jesus instead of telling people how evil their religion is. And there are many people today that share the evils about religion, but never share the Truth in regards to Jesus and the Truth that All your sins have been forgiven. Because if a person knows that all their sins have been forgiven, then satan’s lies will be crystal clear. A person will say, that doesn’t make sense to go back to the confession booth for forgiveness or go back in their incorrect interpretation of 1 John 1:9 and thinking they need more forgiveness by God. Because they will know it is finished, just as Jesus declared from the cross.

And as we have said in the past, when you begin to mature in Christ Jesus He may just want you to start a local Bible study to study the word of God together with others in your local sphere of influence. So listen to Him today, and abide in His instructions and teachings.

Bible Study Books

Bob George addresses a caller from El Paso, Texas, concerned about his son’s homosexuality and faith. Bob advises against disassociation, emphasizing the need to verify the son’s true salvation experience. He explains that salvation involves understanding the gospel as the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, not just forgiveness. Bob stresses the importance of addressing the son’s spiritual understanding rather than his homosexuality. He also discusses the distinction between the old self and the sinful nature, advocating for a focus on yielding to the divine nature. Another caller from Denver seeks guidance on helping a nephew transition from Catholicism to a deeper understanding of Christ, and Bob advises focusing on biblical truth and personal discernment.

“Well again, Ray, you know, because so many people have come to the Lord who come out of a Catholic background same way they do with Protestant both the same. You can be in a Catholic church that absolutely teaches error, and you can be in a Protestant church that teaches error. And the issue is, do I stay in that church? And the issue is, as you begin to learn truth, and so the best thing to do with a new convert is get them into the Bible and get them absorbed in that Bible. And as they learn truth, they will spot error that’s being preached from the pulpit or from tradition. Whether it’s a Catholic or a Protestant, doesn’t make any difference. They’ll be able to spot error, and as they spot error, then God will lead them as to whether to stay in that error or to get out of it. When I came to Christ, I was at a Protestant church where nobody knew the Lord from a lamp post. It was totally liberal, and all you ever got were nice ooshy, gushy messages on we ought to be nice to each other. And God kept me there. And the church was so liberal that they let me teach a Bible study, and ultimately ended up the whole church came to the Lord, and a whole change took place in that church. That was what he led me to do, is some other people, they are in a place, they don’t have a voice, they just sit and soak and they keep hearing error and out they go and find another place in order to grow in grace. So it just depends on how God leads you. But that’s not a Catholic deal. It’s or a Protestant deal. It’s just the place that where you park your body on Sunday, you’re going to have some places full of error, and some are not. Find the place if the Lord is leading you in that direction, find where error is not being taught hopefully, and where some truth is being taught and and grow.” ~ Bob George
