Salvation is Life in Christ Jesus

~ “For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set you free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:2
~ People need to hear and understand the Truth of the word of God. We are not saved by the death of Jesus on the cross, but by His resurrected Life. Most times the salvation message is come to God to get your sins forgiven, which quite frankly is a lie. Because God forgave everyone’s sins at the cross. But forgivness in itself does not give Life tot he dead. Life gives Life to the dead. And when a person accepts by Faith the fact that Jesus took away all their sins at the cross and is no longer counting any of their sins against them, then the very Life of God, the Holy Spirit is given and we are indwelt by the Spirit of God within our spirit and makes us one with Christ Jesus. Everyone who is in Christ Jesus is now True Israel, a people of God. And Israel was always a people of God, NOT a location. That’s critical for us to understand for today, because many confuse modern Is-Not-Real as though that is what is being talked about in the word of God. It is not. Israel is a people of God who are TRUE believers in Jesus. Israel (all true believers) are One with God.

Ask God for wisdom and understanding on these matters, because the details matter in everything.

Bible Study Books

Bob George discusses the Book of Peter, emphasizing its primary audience as HEBREW believers but also applicable to Gentiles. He explains the roles of priests and ambassadors, highlighting the importance of representing Christ to the lost and the kingdom of God in a fallen world. Bob criticizes the “Paul only” approach, asserting that all scripture is inspired by God. He also addresses the balance between prayer and listening to God, advocating for more listening and less talking. Finally, he clarifies that walking in the Spirit means trusting in God’s truth and grace, and dealing with sin by addressing its root causes.

“Well, actually, the heart of the gospel is the resurrection. And that’s why Paul said, without the resurrection, we’re to be pitied of all people in our story of sins. And so the the the focal point of salvation message is that you’re dead. And I’ve told people, in case you haven’t figured that out, that’s a worse problem than sin. Sin caused death, but death is your problem. We’ve stopped at the cross in our evangelical presentations, Aaron and in so doing, have people coming forward as an example to accept forgiveness when the fact of the matter is they’re already forgiven or to gain forgiveness. So it’s while we were yet enemies. We already were reconciled to God through the death of his son. We were reconciled to God when we were lost. But how much more having been reconciled? I have now that being an accomplished fact, shall we be saved by His life. So what we’re saved from is the consequence of sin, which is death by the gift of God, which is eternal life. And I think what’s happened is we’ve stopped at the Cross instead of going on to the resurrection. In spite of the fact that Paul said, without the resurrection, were to be pitied of all people, knowing full well that a cross had occurred where Jesus took away the sins of the world, but also knowing that that forgiveness that was provided then is only received in the resurrected life of Christ.
