Jesus is God in Flesh

~ “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:1-5

~ When God became flesh, in the person of Jesus Christ, he dwells amongst us. When we look at Jesus, we see God in a Man suit. Jesus is the first Man born of God. He is God in Flesh, who has the Holy Spirit living in Him. We ourselves cannot see Spirit, and we know God is Spirit and must worship God in spirit and in Truth. So God became a Man for us, so that we can see how Man is supposed to live, dependent on the Holy Spirit that lives in Him. Jesus did nothing and said nothing other than what the Father told Him to do and say. And through the Holy Spirit today, those born again of God, we are to live the same way that Jesus lived, moment by moment, Faith from first to last, depending on the Holy Spirit in us to teach us ALL TRUTH and to lead us on our daily walk with God. For He lives in the child of God, never to leave them nor forsake them. Don’t even lean on your own understanding of anything today, because that in itself is depending on Man (yourself), to do and say things instead of God.

“And God is Spirit. He doesn’t have ears and nose and all that type of thing. God is spirit. We don’t have a clue what it looks like. We don’t have a clue how it’s formed. We don’t have a clue about anything except a word. It’s that God is Spirit. But God revealed to us through His Son who God is, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. And so what we have to do is to accept that, because we have no point of reference in understanding spirit. And so we accept that by faith, that that is who God is, God, the Father, Son, Holy Spirit. We know that in Genesis it says, will let us make man in our image. You can imagine those old rabbis sitting there scratching their heads, who believe that there is only one God, and yet he’s saying us, who in the world is the US. Let us confuse their language, who in the world is the US. So there was already a plurality in the Godhead from the book of Genesis on, but they did not understand it, and nobody understood the Trinity until Jesus Christ came and made it known and explained it to us that God the Spirit is made up of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, if we would just take that and accept that and realize we cannot understand spirit. So we have a hard enough time understanding what we can see, let alone what we can’t see. And Jesus came and took upon himself our flesh and blood and showed us what the Father was like, and in so doing, showed us what the totality of God is like. So we have to realize that who Jesus was prior to his becoming flesh, was God the Son in a spiritual realm, and God the Father in His spiritual realm, and God the Holy Spirit in his spiritual realm. And God became flesh. God the son became flesh, dwelt among us as the only begotten Son of the Father, full of grace and truth, and so we got to understand the character of God that way.” ~ Bob George
