The World’s Sin is Unbelief in Jesus

~ “And when He comes, He will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: in regard to sin, because they do not believe in Me; in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see Me; and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world has been condemned.” John 16:8-11

~ All your sins were taken away at the cross. This is true for both the lost and the saved person. The difference between a lost and a saved person is that the lost person is dead (without the Spirit of God living in them) and a saved person HAS the Spirit of God living in them, and they HAVE LIFE. Today most people are going around saying that if you ask for forgiveness, God will forgive you your sins. Well folks, that is a lie. Because Jesus took away all the sins of the world at the cross, and He is not in the business of handing out more forgiveness for the asking. And besides that, we know that without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness by God. And Jesus is not going to go back and die on the cross ever again. So rest in His forgiveness that He provided for you at the cross and place Faith in Him and that forgiveness is complete.

Bob George discusses theological topics on his radio show, addressing questions from listeners. He explains that the sin of unbelief is the only sin attributable to man, as all other sins were forgiven by Jesus at the cross. George emphasizes the importance of presenting the gospel in its fullness, including the consequence of sin (death) and the gift of life through Jesus. He criticizes the practice of pleading the blood of Jesus, suggesting it lacks biblical basis. Bob also discusses the legitimacy of faith healers, arguing they are not genuine and exploit believers. Additionally, he addresses the importance of free will giving over tithing and the need for a proper understanding of the New Covenant.

“God, nitpicking us the way we we do. The issue is, what you but again, if a proper a proper evangelistic message to a lost person, if you were lost, I would say to you, Nancy, did you know that 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ went to a cross and He took upon himself. All of your sins and put them behind his back never to see them again. That’s already been accomplished for you. And did you also know that he died at your place and was raised from the dead so that that life that raised Him from the dead can raise you from the dead, because there’s a consequence to sin called death. The sin itself has been taken away, but there’s a consequence called death, and if you’re dead, you need life, and Jesus came to give you life. Now that would be a proper presentation of the gospel. He’s already taken it away, but that forgiveness that He provided for you 2000 years ago is only received in his resurrected life. And that’s why it says in him, you have redemption, the forgiveness of sins, then you’ve explained kind of the fullness of the gospel to a person.” – Bob George
