Be Born Free in Christ Jesus

~ “Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” John 16:13

Once a person has the Spirit of God living in them, nothing can separate them from the Spirit of God. They are permanently written in the Book of Life. And to become born again simply requires placing Faith in Jesus, the Faithful One of God to have taken away the sins of the world and when a person exercises Faith, the Spirit of God comes to indwell them at that very moment and give them His eternal life. And there is nothing a person can do to cause the Spirit of God to depart from them. NOTHING can separate them from the Love of God.

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38,39

Bob George discusses the spiritual life and godliness mentioned in 2 Peter 1:3, emphasizing that these are gifts from God through Christ. He explains that spiritual life is distinct from material needs and is met through faith in Christ. Bob addresses a caller’s marital issues, advising that spiritual needs should be met by Christ, while bodily and soulish needs can be met within the marriage. He also reassures a new believer about sharing her faith with her sick father, suggesting resources like the “Born Free” booklet. Bob emphasizes that salvation is secure through faith in Christ and not through personal efforts or legalistic interpretations.

“I would pick up classic Christianity, and also what I would pick up, and I recommend this to anybody who claims to be a Christian, we’ve produced a book called a Spiritual Journey to Discover the Grace of God. It’s all scripture. There isn’t any of me in here. It’s all scripture, but it’s scripture dealing with the deity of Christ, with why the Bible is the Word of God, the new covenant that we live in today, the difference between law and grace, the fact that you’re saved by the life of Christ, Jesus, not the death, but the life of Christ, Jesus, all of those subjects that are so important to growth are in this little book, and they’re full of Scripture. I carry it in my Bible. We produce it to be about the size of a Bible, and anytime I’ve got a question on those subjects, 90% of what we answer on this program has been answered out of this book. So I would get a hold of that as well. Okay, we will put you on hold, give you information on how to pick those up and we pray. And also tell them to say, we want to send you our little copy of the born free book, and you let us know how you come out.” – Bob George
