The Only Thing That Counts is Faith Expressing Itself Through Love

~ “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any power, but only faith working through love.” Galatians 5:6

~ How you doing in the Love department today? We are talking about the Love of God. Are you ALWAYS Loving others as God? Be truthful with your answer. Because the hypocrites will want to ignore this question or tell you right to your face that they are ALWAYS Loving others, which obviously is a lie.

Today, you need to tell it like it is. You need to stand firm in TRUTH. Only Christ Jesus can Love with His love living through us. And that is only when we abide in Him. We can still respond in the flesh. And that is NOT Love. We can get angry at the drop of a hat. And that is NOT Love. We can harbor envy in our heart. And that is NOT Love. We can wish that someday they will get their just reward. And that is NOT Love. If you really want to see how you do in the Love compartment, just read 1st Corinthians 13 to see how you do:

4 Love is patient, love is kind, love is not envious, it is not boastful, it is not puffed up. 5 It does not act unbecomingly, it does not seek the things of its own, it is not easily provoked, it keeps no account of wrongs. 6 It does not delight at unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth. 7 It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Now replace Love with yourself and see how you do:

I am always patient, I am always kind, I am never envious, I am never boastful, I am never puffed up. I never act unbecomingly, I never seek the things for myself, I am never easily provoked, I never keep any account of wrongs. I never delight in unrighteousness, but always rejoice in the truth. I always bear all things, I always believes all things, I always hopes all things, I always endures all things. How did you do?

Bob George discusses the New Covenant’s start, emphasizing it begins at Christ’s death, fulfilling the law and prophets. He criticizes teachings that suggest the New Covenant began with Jesus’ teachings. Bob argues that true fulfillment of the law is through Love, as stated in 1 Corinthians 13. He also addresses Revelation 22:10, urging believers to spread God’s word. In a discussion on sanctification, Bob asserts that believers are set apart (sanctified) and justified at salvation, and ongoing growth (not progressive sanctification) is a result of growing in truth. He refutes the need for ongoing confession for forgiveness, emphasizing that Christ’s work at the cross has already taken away all sins.

“Well, Brian, if you’re going to be honest, if you think it’s causing you problem, guess what? It’s causing those hypocrites that are teaching it, because if they think that they are following the teachings of Jesus, just one of them alone, which when you’re talking about following the commands of Jesus, His commands were to love one another, to love your God with all your heart, mind and soul, and to love your neighbor as yourself. And upon these two is the fulfillment of the entirety of the law and the prophets. If you love one another, you have fulfilled the law and the prophets now go out and try to do that in the energy of your own flesh. And you just, I just go to them, and just, I’d read first Corinthians 13 to them and say, Okay, let’s see how you guys are doing, who are trying to put this burden, this yoke of slavery back on your people. Let’s see how you’re doing in regard to what God said that the only thing that is important is man and his relationship with God. And the only thing that’s important is faith that expresses itself through love. Period. That’s what God is looking for, Faith expressing itself through love. So let’s see how you’re doing in a love department. Are you always patient? I mean, just, I just want you to put the I am always into the to the to First Corinthians 13. I am always patient. I am always I never keep records of wrongs. Do we need to go on? I am always kind to everyone. I am never easily angered, especially when someone disagrees with me. I never keep records of my wife’s wrongs or my husband’s wrongs or the congregation’s wrongs. Never. Have ever done it. Just got a filing cabinet full of them. I never delight in evil. Just makes me sick of my stomach. When I hear little something off color just makes me want to vomit. I always rejoice in truth, especially when someone tells me something truth about me, that I’m doing wrong, I just rejoice in that. Always protect others over and above myself. Always trust everybody. I always hope the best for everyone, especially if someone gets the promotion and I don’t, I just hope the best for them. How did you do? Self righteous one. How did you do? And that’s what I’d hit those nitwits with, because what they’re teaching is just false doctrine. If and you say that you’re going to live up to that, listen, they’re in a person on the face of the earth that can live up to that. The only person who lives up to that is Christ, Jesus, and that means that my role as a branch is to abide in the life of the vine, not in the law, but in the life of the vine. The new covenant went into effect at the death of Christ, Jesus period. It’s clear as a bell in the book. Book of Hebrews went into a death and a will does not go into effect until the one who made it dies. And this will, this covenant, did not go into effect until the death of Christ, Jesus. And at the death of Christ, Jesus, he now had fulfilled the entirety of the law with his life. He then upheld the law in that the wages of sin is death, and he died on our behalf, taking upon himself the sins of the world. So now, through His resurrection, able to usher in a covenant of grace whereby our sins and lawless acts, he says, I’ll remember no more. And where these have been forgiven, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins, a brand new covenant, freed from the law and the demands of the law that we never could keep, and yet we as idiots, and I just have to say that we’re like idiots. We’ve gone in as the Gentile world and said, Well, you HEBREWS couldn’t do it, but you watched my smoke Lord, and we’re as dumb and is incapable of keeping the law as the HEBREWS ever thought of being and the good law. And the fact of the matter is that God never gave the Gentiles the law anyway. He gave it to the HEBREWS. We just went over and stole it and said, Well, you couldn’t do it, but you watch me. And there isn’t any more dumb theology in the world than people trying to live under the law, because you cannot do it. No man could do it, except Christ, Jesus.”

“This is it. Love your God with all your mind and love your heart, or as labor as yourself. And upon these two is the fulfillment, the entire fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets. Okay, yeah, so I just hit them back with that love thing, because that’s what these guys do. They cannot love. So they ignore that subject, and they get into what you need to be doing and what you don’t need to be doing. The fact is, if they were doing it, they would be perfect in the sight of God, and believe me, they are not. So it’s time that someone is has the guts to stand up to these guys with their degrees and to stand up and say, I don’t care how many degrees you have, we’re going to talk about what the Bible says and what the Bible means, and not what you’ve been taught, but we’re going to talk about what it means.” – Bob George
