If We Keep On Asking For Forgiveness From God, We Haven’t Repented

~ “If we deliberately go on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no further sacrifice for sins remains, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume all adversaries. Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much more severely do you think one deserves to be punished who has trampled on the Son of God, profaned the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and insulted the Spirit of grace?” Hebrews 10:26-29

~ Today most people are insulting Jesus and the cross by keep on asking for what He has already done for them at the cross. And quite frankly, these people are not saved. They do not have the Spirit of God living in them. For if they did they would be listening to the Holy Spirit teach them TRUTH, especially in this foundational area of forgiveness from God.

The Only Thing That Counts is Faith Expressing Itself Through Love

~ “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any power, but only faith working through love.” Galatians 5:6

~ How you doing in the Love department today? We are talking about the Love of God. Are you ALWAYS Loving others as God? Be truthful with your answer. Because the hypocrites will want to ignore this question or tell you right to your face that they are ALWAYS Loving others, which obviously is a lie.

Today, you need to tell it like it is. You need to stand firm in TRUTH. Only Christ Jesus can Love with His love living through us. And that is only when we abide in Him. We can still respond in the flesh. And that is NOT Love. We can get angry at the drop of a hat. And that is NOT Love. We can harbor envy in our heart. And that is NOT Love. No One Can Obey The Ten Commandments And Anyone Believing They Can is Dead

~ “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

Those under the law today are under the curse of DEATH. For they are spiritually dead apart from Jesus. They do NOT have the Spirit of God living in them. They are dead to Christ Jesus. They have NOT placed Faith in Jesus for who Jesus is, and what God Jesus did on the cross for ALL sins. Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the Law. And the only way a person gets out from under the curse is to exercise Faith in Jesus, and become born again of the Spirit of God. Those preaching they can obey the 10 commandments are deceived. They are believing satan’s lie that a person can do what ONLY God can and did do. Because Scripture is clear, no one is righteous by obeying the law, because if they could, then Jesus died for nothing. “I do not set aside the grace of God. Living Under the New Covenant For Today

~ Forgive as the Lord FORGAVE (past tense) you. If we do not understand the new covenant that we live under today, we will consonantly be mixing the old with the new. Yet we are told in the scriptures that we are not to mix things together. We are not to place New wine in Old wine skins, for when the New wine ferments it will cause the old wine skins to burst, and then all the New wine is lost.

~ And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. Instead, new wine is poured into new wineskins.” Mark 2:22

~ If we do not realize that God Jesus forgave us at the cross, and that was done by Jesus God Himself as a past action for ALL sins, and God did it without our asking for it, then we will not understand how to forgive others. What Does it Mean to Enter God’s Rest?

All of us will face burdens or go weary in this fallen world we live in. Entering God’s rest does not mean we will not face hardships or difficulties in life. It does not mean we will live a completely sinless life, for we still have this struggle with our sin-indwelling flesh that is in conflict with the Spirit, who lives in us now. But it does mean that we have someone to go to, who loves and accepts us unconditionally and wants to give us abundant life. Jesus says He will never leave me nor forsake me and that He remembers my sins no more. That means, as a child of God, I am no longer under the law, under an Old Covenant, but under a New Covenant of grace, and I can boldly go to the throne of grace for help in time of need.

Be Sure to Enter God’s Rest Today!

As we ponder over Hebrews 3 and Hebrews 4, what is this “Sabbath rest that still remains“? What does it mean to “enter God’s rest” and “rest from their works just as God rested from His”? As we read these passages in Hebrews, it is referring back to a time in the history of the Israelites, in Numbers 13-14, where God instructed them to enter the promised land, a land flowing with milk and honey. God had promised this land to them. Everything is prepared and ready. They do not have to do any work to enjoy the fruit of the land. God also said He would destroy the enemies before them.

As we read the story, you may recall that only Joshua and Caleb later entered the promised land because they believed God. Everyone else wandered in a wilderness for forty years until all of that generation died off, for God had sworn that they shall never enter His rest because of their unbelief.
