~ Is tithing for today? Why or why not? And don’t say, “Because Bob George says so.” Or don’t say that “such and such says so.” Be certain from the Word of God. Know why you know something to be true, not because someone says it is true. How do you know something is True or not? Start with the Word of God. What does the Word of God say about something, and know who and what is being talked about, or what period of time is being talked about in the word of God. Do we live under the old covenant today? Why or why not? Do we follow the old covenant teachings of going to a temple, to sacrifice for sins? Why or why not? Do we give a tithe to support the Levitical priesthood? Why not? Are there any Levite priests around these days? And even if there are people of the tribe of Levi, how in the world could anyone prove that, considering the temple was destroyed along with all the birth records? ~ Most people today, have idols on their pedestals and haven’t a clue they do and worship them too. Even Christians today get caught up in following people, as though a Man is going to provide you with ALL the answers of Truth. What if the whole world has been deceived by Satan, and lies have been passed on down through the teaching of history lies? How would you know? What if all those mega pastors are not what you think they are, how would you know? And still we prop up mega pastors and even other pastors who’s foundation is off on total forgiveness, even though many of us know full well that they teach foundational lies of satan about the word of God. Ongoing forgiveness for example, tithing for another example, church baptism for another example, and on and on it goes. Make Yourself Available to the Lord for Building Up the Saints in All Truth and Godliness

We want to encourage our listeners to make your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to the Lord (Romans 12:1-2), to make yourself available to the Lord to use you as He directs. Follow the example of Bob George as he followed the example of Christ. That echoes the same sentiment as the apostle Paul who said the same thing to the believers he ministered to, according to the gift and grace God had given him.

If you have matured in Christ and have understanding of the meaning of the word of God, and can teach that to others, then consider having a home bible study or an online zoom bible study, if you are not doing so already. Grow in Grace by the Spirit of God Revealing Truth to You Through His Word

Sometimes we all just lack confidence in the truth. We may know the truth but because we have listened to so many different preachers, we are somewhat doubtful or confused, because what we are hearing from these preachers is contradicting what we are reading from the scriptures. We have been taught by the Lord, having studied the scriptures on their own for quite some time, and have a good handle on the truth, but sometimes we get off course. We now start questioning what all these preachers are saying. Listen as Bob George explains the basic foundational truth on what salvation is, in regard to faith alone in what Jesus accomplished by His death, burial and resurrection for us, and reminding a female caller of the proper understanding of baptism, which never saves anyone, and encouraging her to continue growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, as she has been doing, and letting her know she is on the right track.

You Have Been Made Competent as a Minister of the New Covenant

What is your competence? Is it your ability to obtain a job? Your intellect? Your abilities? Your ability to pull yourself up by your bootstraps, to make yourself holy? Or is the competence that you have from God, the competence to proclaim that He has done it all for you, to proclaim the message of God’s grace? Do you realize you are made competent as a minister of the New Covenant (2 Corinthians 3:5-6)?

Listen now as Bob George explains scriptures of how we are made competent as ministers of a New Covenant (2 Corinthians 3:5-11, 2 Corinthians 3:17-18). He contrasts the ministry of the Old Covenant, under the ten commandments, under the law, through scripture passages, as in Exodus 24:12, Exodus 31:18, Exodus 32:15-16, Exodus 34:1, and Exodus 34:29-35, in contrast to the New Covenant we are living under today. Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Word of God P20 (03-23-21)

Synopsis

In order to be an apostle, you had to be someone who was with Jesus in the beginning, a witness of His baptism, death, burial and resurrection and ascension into heaven. Those were the men Jesus called apostles and gave the authority to represent Him here on earth initially, with the proclamation of the gospel, and then to select some of them to be writers of the New Testament. Those who wrote, wrote down what the Spirit of God living in them revealed as only what He wanted them to say.

Then we have the apostle Paul, the last of the apostles, almost too late for that, having not witnessed the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus, but was appointed by God to be an apostle to the Gentiles. But He did have direct revelation from God and His message was affirmed by the apostles as of equal authority as their writings. Paul even testified that what was revealed to him, the message, was revealed directly to him by God (Galatians 1:12).
