Believing in TRUTH is Unity of the Faith

~ Jesus answered, “I am the way and the TRUTH and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6

~ “And He gave some indeed to be apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some shepherds and teachers, toward the perfecting of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ, until we all may attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a complete man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that no longer we might be infants, being tossed by waves and being carried about by every wind of teaching in the cunning, in the craftiness of men with a view to the scheming of deceit. But speaking the truth in love, we should grow up in all things into Him who is the head, Christ, from whom the whole body, being joined together and being held together by every ligament of its supply, according to the working in the measure of each individual part, the increase of the body makes for itself, to the building up of itself in love.” Ephesians 4:11-16

When a person accepts Jesus as God in the flesh, who took away ALL their sins on the cross, and recognizes that God is no longer counting any of your sins against them, then a person has come into the unity of the fullness of Christ and won’t be tossed around by every wind of doctrine. But here is the thing, the overwhelming majority of churches, pastors and teachers and ALL the big box churches do NOT teach TRUTH, nor do their members believe TRUTH. And hence they are not included in the “unity of the faith.” And people will compromise with that, trying to establish unity based on some other subject or focus effort. And because of that, the Truth of the word of God will be placed on the back burner, or not even considered as important for unity of the Faith. And the next thing you know, they are all the walking dead, no one is saved within those groups. No one will have the Holy Spirit living in them for Life, because no one will be preaching the Truth of the word of God to them. This is exactly where we are today. And Satan loves it that way, because Truth is always being discounted for something else. And Satan and the demons are excellent deceivers, diverting attention away from Truth left and right. And people will take pride in their taking a stance for various topics, and never share the Truth of the word of God themselves. And to them, it doesn’t matter what these other ministries teach about TRUTH, just as long as they are teaching their pet subject for the day. They support them, in spite of TRUTH or lack of truth being taught about the finality of the cross for example. Yet the people that support the ministries that do NOT teach foundational TRUTH, will be in love with them, riding on their high horses, for all to see, thinking they are doing something special for God by promoting them.

But it really should not be surprising to us today, for people draw to themselves what their itching ears want to hear. They are not interested in hearing Truth. They are not interested in knowing the deeper things of God. For in their pride, they think they know it all. And folks, we have all been deceived by Satan and the demons. No one is immune to the deception that is running rampart today. Everyone has been brainwashed by Satan’s lies. That’s why we ALL need to focus on TRUTH and the Word of God, and allow the Holy Spirit to renew our mind, if we are indeed in Christ Jesus. And only a person who is in Christ Jesus has the mind of God in them. That is key. A person must be in Christ and Christ in them to understand ALL TRUTH today.

“I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.” 1 John 5:13

Consider having a Bible study yourself and teaching one or two others the Truth of the word of God. Those with ears, they will want to hear. We have many excellent Bible study books that are very easy to use that involve simply reading the word of God and answering the questions provided. The answers themselves are right there in the word of God.

Lord Jesus, teach me the TRUTH of the world we live in today and the Truth of You.

God, you see, Unity is a byproduct of truth, and we’re out trying to get unity with instead of it being a byproduct, it becomes the ultimate goal. And if that you know Myron, I’ve found in my number of years of being in Christ and working around churches and that type of thing through most of that time, that whenever you have a goal other than a proclamation of the Good News of the Gospel, you’re going to become a compromiser, right? If you want to get together. Let’s all of us, people that believe in in in that we don’t believe in abortion. Let’s get together. Well, then you’re going to get together with all kinds of people out there who certainly don’t believe in abortion, but they also don’t believe in Jesus, or they don’t believe in this, they don’t believe in that. So that’s a goal, that you’re going to be a compromiser, yes, sir. And so whenever your goal is anything else is except proclaiming the truth of the Bible, you’re going to be a compromiser. And that’s the only thing God ever called us to do, was to go out and to proclaim truth to people.” ~ Bob George
