~ Understanding what a Born Again person really is. Can a Catholic be a Christian? Many times there are people that come to be born again of the Spirit in different religious settings and may stay for a short time at a place that is not teaching truth. This could be true for any person in any situation, but a person that is truly born again they will not want to continue going to a place filled with error in teaching. The Holy Spirit will point this out to the true believer.

~ Understanding the word of God as it relates to being a child of God and salvation. No one can lose their salvation. God is not going to throw you out of being a child of God no matter what you do or don’t do if you are in Christ and He is in you. There are some religious sects teaching that you can lose your salvation because they don’t have a clue what salvation really is. Many times, they will camp out on one word, like the word “If” and don’t understand that the word If can be used in a number of ways. One is a conditional way and another is meaning “in as much as.” In the Greek language this is clearly understood based on the Greek word itself. Our English translations don’t do it justice for translating the word “If.”

²¹ And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled ²² In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: ²³ If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister; ^{Colossians 1:21-23}
