God Has Already Forgiven You (Past Tense) At The Cross!

~ Most teachers are preaching a lie of coming to Jesus to “get your sins forgiven.” Many of those that think they are saved are not saved, because they believe in the lie of ongoing forgiveness, or they think that it is their asking for forgiveness, even of the one time to get their sins forgiven that caused God to forgive them. Most in the Christian world doesn’t believe that the sins of the world Have Been Forgiven. Yet God says He is NOT counting anyone’s sins against them. And we know, that without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Jesus is NOT going to sacrifice himself ever again.

~ “That God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” ^{2 Corinthians 5:19}

~ “In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.” ^{Hebrews 9:22}

~ “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” ^{1 John 2:2}

~ “so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.” ^{Hebrews 9:28}

~ “Well, it may have an effect on evangelists as such, but quite frankly, evangelist was not necessarily the way in which evangelism was meant to take place. Evangelists have always been in the world, but evangelism is to take place among the laity people to people. You’re gonna find many more people coming to Christ through the biblical multiplication principles, then you ever are with the individual conversion experiences that you would get an evangelistic meeting. And so God uses all of those things. But basically, we’re all commanded to go out into the world and make disciples. And I think that Joseph, that’s where many people get off in regard to evangelism is what true evangelism is, is the making of disciples. It didn’t say, go into the world and make converts it said, go into the world and make disciples. And that that discipleship process not only involves leading someone to Christ, but it involves training them and and maturing them in the things of Christ. And I think that’s the missing link today that if we had mature Christians today, then you would have more evangelism taking place, but what we have in Christianity is we have watered down the message in order to appeal to the masses.” ~ Bob George
