The Holy Spirit Trains Us In Truth of the Word of God

~ God’s Truth is always in the believer. For the Holy Spirit will make the Truth of the word of God known to you. And when Truth is made known, this is His discipline upon us. And as we are being trained for the battle, we can then identify the lies of the devil. And folks, the lies are abundant today, much more than people imagine. For we were all born into a world of lies. We see it all around us, and yet most do not see it. For they do not have the eyes to see or the ears to hear, of what is really going on the world today.

First off, a person needs to start with the proper foundation. And that is Christ Jesus, alive living in you. Once you have Him alive living in you, through the Holy Spirit of God, then we are told we actually have the mind of God. And don’t discount the teachings of the Holy Spirit. For He is always talking to us, teaching us all TRUTH. And when you read the word of God, pay attention to the details, for the details matter in everything today. Ask questions to God. And He will provide the answers. Start with basics and don’t let deceivers exchange the truth of the word of God for Satan’s lies. And folks, there are many many lies and deceptions of the devil in this world that we have all believed since birth. And don’t trust in bible commentaries either, for these are the teachings of men, rather than God. So it takes a renewing of the mind, to have our minds programmed by Truth. Trust in Him to teach you All Truth.

Ask God to give you wisdom and to show you the Truth of the world we live in today.

Lord Jesus, teach me the TRUTH of the world we live in today and the Truth of You.

~ In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. And have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses you as a father addresses his son? It says,

“My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline,
    and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,
because the Lord disciplines the one he loves,
    and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.”

Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? If you are not disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline—then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live! They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. ^{Hebrews 12:4-12}

“God’s word is the discipline upon us, discipline is discipleship. And discipline is what prepares us for life ahead. It’s It’s the difference between discipline and punishment. Punishment is retaliation for an act done. And discipline is a preparation for the game ahead. When you have football players running up and down bleachers and doing push ups and all that stuff, they’re not punishing them. It seems like punishment. But it’s a discipline, it’s to prepare them for the game. And if they don’t have that discipline, and they don’t have that training, and they get into a game, they’re going to be injured. So discipline is far for our protection, and that’s God doing this Bible that we hold in our hands, is a Book of Discipline. It disciplines our minds, it teaches, what’s discipline do? It teaches us what truth is, and puts us back on on the path. And that’s why the word of God is profitable for teaching and reproof, correction and training in righteousness. That’s all part of discipline.” ~ Bob George
