No One Will Be Judged for Their Sins: Why? The Cross Cleared the Global Ledger

Corporate religion routinely conditions people to live in fear, teaching that God is sitting in Heaven keeping a detailed scorecard of human failures and waiting to judge every individual for their sins.

This completely misunderstands the courtroom reality of Calvary!

The un-scrambled truth of Scripture reveals a mind-blowing, liberating fact: No one—neither the saved nor the lost—will ever be judged for their sins.

Why? Because the legal sin-debt of the entire world was permanently liquidated, removed, and zeroed out at the cross of Calvary where the debt was cleared!

1. The Sin-Ledger Was Globally Closed at Calvary

Jesus did not go to the cross to make a partial payment or to set up a conditional “forgiveness vending machine.” As our Goel (Kinsman-Redeemer), He executed total Propitiation (Hilasmos) for all humanity:

📖 1 John 2:2: “And He is the propitiation [Hilasmos — total liquidation] for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”
📖 2 Corinthians 5:19: “God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing [not counting] their trespasses unto them.”

Look closely at those courtroom declarations: God is not logging, counting, or imputing sins against anyone on this physical plane today!

Whether a person is saved or lost, their sin-debt was legally dealt with, paid for, and removed when the gavel struck at the cross of Calvary where the debt was cleared.

2. Reconciliation vs. Salvation: Washed vs. Filled

If the sin-debt of the whole world was cleared, why isn’t everyone automatically saved?

Because religion has confused Reconciliation (Katallage) with Salvation (Zoē):

Reconciliation (Clearing the Debt): The global court case regarding sin was settled for all humanity by Christ’s death (Romans 5:10). The clay vessel was legally washed clean.
Salvation (Receiving Life): Salvation is not the mere subtraction of sin; it is receiving the indwelling Holy Spirit of Life (Zoē)!

As Romans 5:10 forensically proves: “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.”

Clearing a debt washes the clay jar, but a clean jar can still be an empty jar. You are not saved by having your debt cleared; you are saved by receiving His indwelling Life!

3. Why Do People Go to the Lake of Fire?

If no one is judged for their sins, why does the Great White Throne Judgment (Revelation 20:11–15) exist?

Hell was never created as a debtor’s prison for unpaid human sins; it was prepared for satan and his unrepentant angels (Matthew 25:41).

At the final judgment, people are NOT cast into the Lake of Fire because of an unpaid sin-ledger. They go to the Lake of Fire because they REFUSED LIFE!

📖 Revelation 20:15: “And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.”

Notice what the Court checks: it is an audit of the Book of Life, not a ledger of sins!

Those who perish do so because they stubbornly refused the un-scrambled Truth of Calvary, rejected the gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit, and chose to remain spiritually dead (nekros).

Stand in Present Faith Today

God is holding ABSOLUTELY NOTHING against you! He is not surprised by your past, and He is not keeping a scorecard of your stumbles.

Stop trying to clean a vessel that was already washed at Calvary. Step out of religious performance loops, agree with the Sovereign Verdict (homologeo), and receive the indwelling Spirit of Life (Zoē) today!

Pastor Jay (whom Bob addresses as Jeff) called to thank Bob for reading his letter on an earlier broadcast and to share that the ministry had helped him support others; Bob thanked him and reflected that people often resist both what God has done and responding to it through faith rather than works. Lynn, a college student who was pregnant, asked what the Bible says about abortion; Bob urged her to continue the pregnancy, spoke about forgiveness and God’s love, and encouraged her to tell her partner and seek support, and Lynn said she could do so. Steve called about alcoholism, relapses, anger, and depression; Bob suggested that anger can arise from fear, encouraged him to understand his identity as a child of God rather than define himself by addiction or denomination, and advised him to study Scripture directly and trust in God’s enduring love.

Pastor Jay (whom Bob addresses as Jeff)

Pastor Jay called to thank Bob for reading his letter on an earlier broadcast. He said the broadcast had opened doors for him to help people with difficult issues, and he praised the ministry’s ongoing work. Bob responded warmly and reflected on the difference between knowing what is true and living accordingly. He described human nature as often resistant both to what God has done and to the way people are asked to respond, including choosing works rather than faith.

Lynn

Lynn, a college student who said she was pregnant and going through a difficult time, asked what the Bible says about abortion. Bob characterized abortion as taking a life, but also emphasized that sin is forgiven through Christ. He framed salvation as receiving new life, then urged Lynn to consider what Christ living in her would want her to do and advised her to continue the pregnancy. Lynn said she could do so.

Bob also encouraged Lynn to tell her partner about the pregnancy, noting that he did not yet know. He told her not to face the situation alone and offered further support through the ministry. He acknowledged that continuing the pregnancy could bring challenges, including effects on college, but encouraged her to trust that God would help her through them.

Steve

Steve described struggling with alcoholism, repeated relapses, anger, and depression. He said he had previously experienced homelessness, later obtained housing and Social Security, and found that money and certain people, places, and things could trigger him. Bob interpreted Steve’s anger as a possible response to underlying fear and emphasized God’s love as the answer to fear. He encouraged Steve to see himself primarily as a child of God and a new creation, rather than define himself by alcoholism or a church denomination.

When Steve asked whether people would be judged by God, Bob answered that believers would not, and urged him to study Scripture directly instead of relying only on radio programs or other people’s interpretations. He suggested finding an accessible Bible translation, asking God for understanding, and checking teachings against Scripture. Bob further argued that resting in God’s love could relieve Steve’s fear and depression; these were Bob’s spiritual views, not a clinical assessment or treatment plan.
