Jesus Took Away All Our Sins on the Cross

Behold the Lamb of God Who Took Away the Sins of the World!

~ When a person comes to know the True Jesus, the Holy Spirit comes to live in them and gives them eternal life immediately. He makes us a new creature in Christ Jesus. Prior to that, we were all dead in our unbelief, and did not have the Holy Spirit living in us. After salvation, the Spirit comes to live in a person forever, and nothing can separate us from Him, NOT even ourselves. He makes us a new creature, where our spirit is merged with His Spirit, and we become a child of God forever.

Now a person who is in Christ Jesus has a choice. We can either choose to listen to the Holy Spirit living in us, and wants to teach us ALL Truth, or we can listen to our flesh, that wants to believe the Lies of Satan and the world. The flesh wars against the Spirit, because the flesh is proud of itself. It wants to feel like it is doing something special for God. And Satan will go out of his way to stroke the flesh. To make a person think they are indeed doing something special for God, and when they fail, Satan is right there to accuse us of failing for God. But God knows all things. God knew that we could not do anything of ourselves. He knew we would fail. And that is why we are to abide in the Holy Spirit, so that we do not fulfill the desires of the flesh. Because that desire is going to be with us as long as we are living in this old body of flesh. So count yourself dead to sin, and live in His grace and righteousness. And living in His righteousness is understanding that we do not have any righteousness apart from His righteousness. Once a person understands that, then that frees them to live under His righteousness and to be controlled by the Holy Spirit of God.

Romans 8:35-39
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:

“For Your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Consider having a Bible study yourself and teaching one or two others the Truth of the word of God. Those with ears, they will want to hear. We have many excellent Bible study books that are very easy to use that involve simply reading the word of God and answering the questions provided. The answers themselves are right there in the word of God.

Lord Jesus, teach me the TRUTH of the world we live in today and the Truth of You.

~ “Well, Anthony, I think you know the answer to that. If you have the Holy Spirit living in you, you know that you don’t stop sinning. The issue is that your sin is no longer seen by God. Your sins have been taken away from the eyes of God by the Lord Jesus Christ. That’s what he did at the cross there, he who knew new sin became sin. He became sin for you and took it away here on this earth. Why we still function in our body and and our body that contains indwelling sin, but we also have the privilege of participating in the divine nature that lives in us. So we have two voices that we can listen to, the voice of the flesh and the voice of the Spirit, and that says they are in conflict with one another, and we have to realize that is the conflict that you will be in until the very day the. That you are absent from the body and present with the Lord. The issue is that the more we learn, as we were talking earlier, to listen to the voice of God, revealing the meaning of the word of God to you through scripture, not some wild vision, but through scripture, revealing the meaning of the word of God to you, and the more that you yield to the truth of the Word of God, why? The more that you’re going to be preoccupied with him. And when you’re preoccupied with him, you’re not preoccupied with sin. It’s like a little kid with these with these old, dirty teddy bear that he’s been dragging around through the ground all of it, all of his life, and he won’t let go of that teddy bear. He just loves that old, dirty teddy bear. And and he’s in a playpen, and it falls out of the playpen. He’s just screaming his eyes out. And you say, How in the world do I get that kid to quit living in dependency on that dumb teddy bear? And said, real simple, buy him a puppy. You buy him a puppy that he finds out that puppy is alive, finds out that the puppy can lick him and he can lick the puppy. They got a relationship with each other, and before long, that young kid is so preoccupied with a living thing that you can come and take that old dead teddy bear away, and he doesn’t even know it’s gone. And that’s what it is you fall in love with a living, loving God, and all these teddy bears that we have that we hang on to, thinking they’re going to bring some pleasure to us you can take away, and you don’t even know they’re gone. And so the whole issue is what it says in the scripture, walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the desires of the flesh. It didn’t say the desires of the flesh will go away. Didn’t say, quit sinning and you’ll be spiritual. It says, walk in faith in Christ, Jesus, and while you’re doing that, you will not be fulfilling the desires of the flesh. Well, I hope that helps, brother.” ~ Bob George
