Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Word of God P32 (04-20-21)

Synopsis

With the word of God, and the Spirit of God living in us, knowing the totality of the cross, the reality of the resurrection, and the fullness of what Christ did for us in all of that, regardless of whatever shortcomings there are in translations, you can know the meaning of the scriptures, and so much difficulty in understanding soon disappears. You come to realize that the word of God is divinely inspired, written down through the personalities of men, through the prophets and apostles, but with the full meaning of what God wanted to express to us, that we may put our faith in Him and have eternal life, the abundant life He promised us.

These men, whom God appointed and raised up for that purpose, prior to the foundation of the world, wrote down what God said to them. When the Holy Spirit came at Pentecost, to indwell the apostles forever, the Holy Spirit brought back to their remembrance, to the apostles, who were eyewitnesses of His death, burial and resurrection, of all that they had seen and heard, that God wanted them to write down for all generations to come, so men might know Him who is true and eternal life.

And as events unfolded, just as spoken through the prophets, where over 300 prophecies were fulfilled, precisely and to the exact detail, as written down by a prophet of God, so also future events, described in Revelation, will unfold just as God had spoken to the apostle John in the book of Revelation and to His apostles. The apostle wrote down what Jesus had told them to look out for in the end times. There will be wars and rumors of wars, and all kinds of trials and tribulations, with ever increasing frequency (Matthew 24). Jesus equated that to birth pains as a woman experiences prior to the birth of her child. And when people are saying, ’peace and safety” know that the end is near, right at the door.

So, as Jesus said, do not be alarmed when you see such things happening. In our day, we see more insight into things even than when Bob George was alive. We now have a W0/2020/060606 patent filed by Bill Gates, that details a cryptocurrency system. Many believe the vaccine is the distribution system being developed that will become the beast system (described in Revelation), as already it is being used for totalitarian type of control on global populations, with vaccine identification required in several countries, and in certain venues, even in my town, to be able to enter the senior center. I even heard of a dye injection system with a vaccine that can last up to five years, that can be used as an identification marker, or even a three dimensional bar code injected into a person as nanoparticles, and detected by an i-phone swiped over your hand for identification purposes. Chip systems, embedded in people’s hands, are being developed and even used on a voluntary basis in certain countries.

As a personal note, no one should be taking the vaccine, as it is not approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), not gone through complete testing, released only as emergency use authorization, for a Coronavirus that has led to less death on the population than the regular flu, and with much propaganda with faulty PCR testing, pushing case numbers up, for not even a sickness but for symptoms, with a 99% plus recovery rate, for something that is gene therapy, and not a true vaccine, only treating symptoms, not even making you immune to a virus, with no protection against getting the virus, and with dangerous risks, including infertility, paralysis, neurological disorders, and even death. Nevertheless, people by the millions will rush to take the vaccine, out of fear by the propaganda of the mainstream media, the peer pressure put on them, even such things as virtual signaling and the ability to secure a job, and from powers that be, that keep it on the forefront of people’s minds, through such things as psychological conditioning, as in the use of masks, that do nothing but lead to bacterial pneumonia.

Continuing on, we have threats of a global reset, with a monetary collapse followed by a cashless monetary system, talk of transhumanism, and chip implants in human beings, and all of that are signs of what is yet to come, as recorded down in Revelation, of a coming mark of the beast, that no man should take, as warned by a third angel.

Revelation 14:8-10
8 A second angel followed and said, “‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great,’ which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries.”

9 A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, 10 they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb.

Time indeed is very short. Many people suspect, months away even, not even years, to the rapture of the church, where believers still alive on that day, will meet the Lord in the clouds, taken out from the wrath of God to come as prophesied in Revelation. When one reads the fig tree prophecy, as spoken by Jesus in Matthew 24, it is believed that the fig tree represents the nation of Israel becoming a nation on May 14, 1948. So, how long is a generation? And what happens when the last person born since the time Israel became a nation dies? Those are the kinds of questions people are asking today. Those who are believers are beginning to look up, knowing that their redemption is drawing near.

Matthew 24:32-35
32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. 34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

The same thing is true with the New American Standard, or whatever it might be. They are translations of the original. In translations, you can lose some of the dynamic in the translation, but when you read the whole and understand the whole, and interpret the bible predicated on the cross, and the finality of it, and the reality of the resurrection, and the grace that was extended to us in its fullness, the bible unfolds and is clear as ever to understand.

If your premise is off, your findings will be off. When people try to combine law and grace, you will never get the bible to make sense. So we blame the translation instead of the relation of the Holy Spirit in regard to a person’s life. When we understand the fullness of what Christ did for us, instead of those types of things, so much difficulty in understanding disappears.

Now, let us go on to our lesson. Let us talk for a moment in regard to the preparation of the bible, then we will go back to the names of the bible. In other words, when and how did God choose the prophets or the apostles for the appointed work, of not only experiencing Christ in their life, but putting that down in the written form we have it today. We are told in Galatians 1:15-16 and Jeremiah 1:5.

Galatians 1:15-16
15 But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, was pleased 16 to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles, my immediate response was not to consult any human being.

So Paul said, “I did not consult anyone in what I am preaching. What I am preaching I got by direct revelation from God, the one who set me apart from birth.” Do you think God might have known who was going to be proclaiming Him even when Paul, formerly known as Saul, was about persecuting the church and holding the coat in the stoning of Stephen? Yes, God set him apart from birth for that very calling.

Acts 7:57-59
57 At this they covered their ears and, yelling at the top of their voices, they all rushed at him, 58 dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. Meanwhile, the witnesses laid their coats at the feet of a young man named Saul.

59 While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”

Galatians 1:22-24
22 I was personally unknown to the churches of Judea that are in Christ. 23 They only heard the report: “The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.” 24 And they praised God because of me.

So what Paul wrote, he was not writing in accordance with his own mindset or his own information, nor did he write down what he heard from other men. He wrote down what had been revealed to him by God. And Paul had been set apart before the foundation of the earth for this very assignment.

Galatians 1:12 (TLB)
12 For my message comes from no less a person than Jesus Christ himself, who told me what to say. No one else has taught me.

We are told the same thing in regard to the prophet Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 1:5
5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Once again, this is all in the mind of God, the one who is omniscient and omnipresent, who is all and is all.

Ephesians 4:4-6
4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

God looks at things, not limited by time and space. We are limited here on earth in time and space. He is not. “Before I formed you in the very womb of Jeremiah’s mother, I knew who you were”, He said. “Before you were born, I already set you apart and appointed you to the task you were going to be doing as a prophet to the nations.” So when we have scriptures in front of us today, it tells us by whom the words came, of divine origin.

2 Peter 1:21
21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

There are people who walk proclaiming to be God-given prophets today. You can ignore that. Those He set apart as prophets by birth, He communicated to them and they wrote down what was communicated. The canon was closed when Revelation was finished. It says tha you do not add or subtract from it. He was not just talking about the book of Revelation. He was talking about the entirety of the scriptures.

Revelation 22:18-19
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

There are no new books. Joseph Smith, writing the book of Mormon, might as well have been writing a funny book. As far as God is concerned that is not scripture. There is no man’s writings that can add to the word of God when the word of God says it is over and finished and you do not add to it. There is no more scripture. There are no other books of scripture. There are no more books of revelation.

Any books that come out today are merely books that are describing the revelation that was found in the word of God. I can write a book about what I experienced and learned, but absolutely where I learned it was out of the word of God. I did not learn it by writing some other book in and of myself. You do not have scripture written by man. That canon is closed. The word of God is sufficient for the every need of our hearts. Those men were set apart by God and they were set apart to write down exactly what we have in our hands today. Now every bit of that was by revelation.

Let us take a look at how the writers of the bible claimed they received the word of God according to these passages.

Exodus 19:3-6
3 Then Moses went up to God, and the Lord called to him from the mountain and said, “This is what you are to say to the descendants of Jacob and what you are to tell the people of Israel: 4 ‘You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself. 5 Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, 6. you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites.”

Where did Moses get the words to speak to the Israelites? From the Lord God Himself.

This is a lot to put on people, at one time, especially as we dealt with manuscripts, and everything else. If it is difficult for you to follow along, then I recommend you listen to the broadcast, or read the transcript. Listen to it over and over again. Then you will retain it better.

How did the Word of God we have today come from? It was given by God by divine revelation. Again, in Numbers 7:89, we are talking about Moses entering the tent of meeting and speaking with the Lord.

Numbers 7:89
89 When Moses entered the tent of meeting to speak with the Lord, he heard the voice speaking to him from between the two cherubim above the atonement cover on the ark of the covenant law. In this way the Lord spoke to him.

It is important for us to also realize that in this day and age, because again there are people who look at the Old Testament scriptures, and look at Moses, and get an exalted opinion of themselves. They say, “if it is good enough for Moses, it is good enough for me”, saying “God spoke to me”, or “God told me this”, and “I appeared to God”, and those kinds of things, even though in the New Testament it says very clearly that is not so.

Matthew 24:23-28
23 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time.

26 “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28 Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.

Hebrews 1:1-2
1 In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.

So before Christ came as the final revelation as God in regard to us and our salvation, He spoke to man in various ways, in dreams, like with Moses, direct, and in all kinds of various ways. But see the contrast there. Now He spoke to us through Jesus Christ. In other words, He is saying, “I am not going to do that anymore. I already spoke to you through My Son.”

John 14:10-11
10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.

Jesus said, “I am here. I have spoken. I have spoken loud and clear. I came as a human being. I spoke with your tongue. I saw with your eyes. I heard with your ears. You do not need any more of this divine appearance. I appeared. That is it. So listen to what I said for I am communicating totally the voice of the Father.”

Prior to that time, the revelation came from God directly to Moses.

1 Samuel 3:10-11
10 The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!”

Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”

11 And the Lord said to Samuel: “See, I am about to do something in Israel that will make the ears of everyone who hears about it tingle.

So once again, the Lord spoke to Samuel, and Samuel passed on what He said.

Isaiah 6:8-9
8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”

And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

9 He said, “Go and tell this people:

“‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’

So, once again, Isaiah was told by God, after saying “Here I am. So send me”. And the Lord told him what to say to the people of Israel. That was a prophecy concerning the nation of Israel that to this very day is being fulfilled.

In Revelation, you read about what the Lord said to the apostle John.

Revelation 14:13
13 Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.”

“Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”

So once again, at the close of the revelation, at the close of scripture, the apostle John heard the voice of God by direct revelation.

There are other passages on the revelation of the bible to its writers, and we see these again in other references.

Exodus 4:10-12
10 Moses said to the Lord, “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”

11 The Lord said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord? 12 Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”

So again, direct revelation from God to Moses.

Numbers 12:8
8 With him I speak face to face, clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?”

Leviticus 1:1-2
1 The Lord called to Moses and spoke to him from the tent of meeting. He said, 2 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When anyone among you brings an offering to the Lord, bring as your offering an animal from either the herd or the flock.

Once again, carrying on with the apostle Paul then.

Galatians 1:11-12
11 I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. 12 I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.

In the book that we hold in our hands today, that we call the bible, made up of Old Testament scriptures and New Testament scriptures, you are going to have to realize that those scriptures are there because they were given to men as God had selected, as He said, before the foundation of the earth, to do precisely and exactly what they did, to hear the word of God and write down the word of God. So today we have that word of God, not only in our hands, but more importantly we have it in our hearts.

What were the responses to this word of God, as it was revealed? In Exodus 24:4, God spoke to Moses. What was his response to that?

Exodus 24:4
4 Moses then wrote down everything the Lord had said.

He got up early the next morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain and set up twelve stone pillars representing the twelve tribes of Israel.

What did Moses do after the Lord spoke to him? He wrote it down.

In Exodus 34:27-28, the same thing.

Exodus 34:27-28
27 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.” 28 Moses was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant – the Ten Commandments.

Let us read Jeremiah’s response when the Lord appeared to him.

Jeremiah 30:2
2 “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Write in a book all the words I have spoken to you.

How do we have those books? Because the prophet Jeremiah wrote it down. How do we have these books? Because Moses wrote it down. The same was true in regard to the apostle John’s response, as we read in Revelation 1.

Revelation 1:11
11 which said: “Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.”

Revelation 1:19
19 “Write, therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later.

What was John’s response to the revelation of God? He wrote down what was said to him.

In John 16:7 and John 14:26, we will see something else important. We will see how God ensured that John and the other writers would accurately record His revelation. We can come back, and rightfully so, sit back and say, “Did they get it down properly? Did they remember everything? After all, how would you remember everything? Jesus told them.

John 16:7
7 But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.

When the Holy Spirit comes to live in the apostles, the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, will do so, teach and remind them of all the things He had spoken to them.

John 14:26
26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

John 16:13
13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

Why do we have the writings in regard to end times? Because the Spirit of truth, the one who guided the apostles into all truth, not speaking on His own, only what He heard from the Father, told them what was yet to come in prophecy. The apostles wrote that down, and that is why we know what is going to occur in His prophecy.

I cannot help but think about these times in which we live. They are very exciting times. I have seen some unbelievable miracles and so have you, just in the last couple of years. I saw the Berlin wall, the iron curtain come down. That was an impossibility as far as human maneuvering has taken place. Something had to take place there. For that to have occurred is beyond my comprehension, yet it has. Russia today, with the curtain down, now trying to get back on their feet economically, still in turmoil, the gospel opened up in schools, opened up in parliaments in the political systems. We cannot get them in our schools but they can get them in theirs. The things that happen in America, that prints on their money, “In God We Trust” but you cannot study or pray about Him in schools. That is a contradiction, but nevertheless true.

Now, just in the last couple of weeks, a peace treaty signed between Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) and Israel. I look at that, and all of these things around peace. People want peace. Is that not strange that we read in scripture, that when the world is saying 𔄞Peace. Peace.”, that the end is near. I cannot help but believe, and I believe scripture is a hundred percent truth, and the Spirit led the writers of Scripture into all truth, and He told them what was yet to come. He knew that and recorded that. We are living in a time where we are seeing and experiencing those prophecies of the end times being fulfilled right in front of our eyes. When they say “peace”, watch out, the end is near.

1 Thessalonians 5:2-3
2 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

The New Testament that we have in our hands today are written by the apostles or an emanuisserant of an apostle, were written by the men who walked with Christ, and then after that, the apostle Paul, who was called into heaven and had direct appearance with Jesus Christ. He said to the apostles these things.

1 Corinthians 10:11
11 These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the culmination of the ages has come.

When you look at the epistles, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, of what was recorded down concerning Christ Jesus on earth, you are reading a record of the writings of man as it was revealed to them by the Lord Jesus Christ, causing them to remember everything that was said to them, and also causing them to remember the things He did and writing them down from their vantage point. So He talks about when the Spirit of truth comes. He will guide you into all truth. It is interesting to me the different names of the bible referred to in Scripture.

Psalm 119:14
14 I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches.

So, the word of God is referred to as your statutes.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4
3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures

So, the Old Testament, of course, was a recordation called the Scriptures, and of course, the writings of the New Testament, were called the Scriptures. That He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.

Ephesians 6:17
17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

So the word of God was referred to as the sword of the Scripture. It was referred to as the Scriptures. It was referred to as your statutes.

Now, as Paul was writing to Timothy.

2 Timothy 3:15
15 and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

So, they were referred to as the Holy Scriptures.

Hebrews 4:12
12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Once again, they were referred to as the word of God, the Holy Scriptures, the sword of the Scripture, the Scriptures and as statutes. So a lot of names connected to it, and tying in to what we were talking about in John 16, when the Holy Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. Of course, the Holy Spirit came to teach us about His word.

The purpose of these written records is told us in 1 Corinthians 10:11.

1 Corinthians 10:11
11 These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the culmination of the ages has come.

From the day of Pentecost, we are in what is called the end times. We keep thinking right now is the end of times. We have been in the end times from the pronouncement of God saying He is coming back. He tells us to look for these signs (Matthew 24), because they will be like birth pains.

1 Thessalonians 5:2-4
2 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

4 But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.

You may not know about birth pains, but your wife does. They come five minutes apart, then three minutes and then two. They get closer together and birth is about to occur. In the end times, it will be like birth pains. It will become more rapid and more intense. There will be wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes, pestilence, and drugs.

Matthew 24:3-8
3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

It mentions all of the things we see going on in the world today, in increasing measure. There have been more earthquakes from the last couple of years from my understanding from the totality of all the recording of them as far as we know. All these things are intensifying constantly. All over the world, there are wars and rumors of wars, intensifying constantly. Not just a major world like World War I and World War II, involving two and three countries, but all over, in all countries. Then, of course, as I mentioned, this recent peace treaty. Here is a joke, “peace”.

1 Thessalonians 5:3
3 While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

There will be no peace in this world until the prince of peace returns. Yet, and diligently and egotistically, I might add, are people continually trying to bring about what the Lord says we will never have until every knee bows and every tongue confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord, when the prince of peace returns. But He did say at that time when everyone is saying “peace, peace”, watch out, because destruction is right at the door. All of these things were written down as warnings for us.

Isaiah 45:22-24
22 “Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other. 23 By myself I have sworn, my mouth has uttered in all integrity a word that will not be revoked: Before me every knee will bow; by me every tongue will swear. 24 They will say of me, ‘In the Lord alone are deliverance and strength.’” All who have raged against him will come to him and be put to shame.

The bible’s claim to be in “divinely inspired” is often interpreted by critics to mean that the Book was mechanically dictated by God, having no more of the human personality than a secretary imparts to the letters she tpes from the dictation of her business employer. This is miles from the truth. Simply stated, “inspiration” is the Word of God in the words of men.

Every author has his own literary style. Each displays his intellectual and emotional characteristics in varying ways and varying degrees. Paul’s letters, for instance, are so loaded with his own personality that a famed scholar has rightfully asserted that no man of antiquity is better known to us than he. We are introduced to the Apostle’s tremendous analytical mind and the depth of his experience with Christ, with sin, with life in his letters to Chrisitans, whom he had not yet met; and in his letters to his own converts, we feel the warmth of his great heart. And yet, his thinking and writing were given, directed and supervised by the Holy Spirit of God. As Dr. B.B. Warfield, a writer on the inspiration of the Bible said: “If God wished to give his people a series of letters like Paul’s, He prepared a Paul to write them, and the Paul he brought to the task was a Paul, who spontaneously would write such letters.”

Just as God has always chosen men to be instruments of His energy and power to accomplish His will and purposes on the earth, even so He used these same human instruments to record and preserve His words to man.
