Classic Christianity – A Wife of Good Character – Part 1 – 9-07-26
~ Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness, to rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, and over all the earth itself and every creature that crawls upon it.”
So God created man in His own image;
in the image of God He created him;
male and female He created them.
God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and every creature that crawls upon the earth.” Genesis 1:26-28
Something that is important to note, that we tend to gloss over, is the fact that Man (male and female), is called Man throughout the word of God. We are not a kind of man, as in “mankind,” which is actually what many of the translations fall into, teaching that we are mankind, but that simply is wrong to think that way. Man is both male and female. After all, Man is not a type of bird, or a type of livestock, or other creatures that are on the earth. God considers Man His creation that He made in His image in the beginning, in the form of male and female to be fruitful and multiply and to fill the whole earth. And here is something many do not understand, is it is actually God who opens and closes the wombs for All of Man ~ Women. Many have not understood that to be the case. Many simply have thought of Man controlling his own destiny. But originally when God made Man, they had the Spirit of God living in them, and they were to live forever. They were never to die, and they were to have children and their children would have children. And on and on it was to go. But when Adam and Eve brought death upon the Earth, there is a key timeline to a new heaven and new Earth that will be created out of this old Earth. And just to be clear, here are some of the verses of Scripture that shows God does indeed control the wombs of ALL the females everywhere.
👶 THE SOVEREIGN KEY: WHO REALLY CONTROLS THE WORLD’S BIRTHRATES? 👶
If you look at the world today and find yourself confused by the rapid, chaotic demographic shifts unfolding right before our eyes (sudden decrease in birthrates being reported), it is time to step off the horizontal treadmill of mainstream explanations.
The corporate media, secular academia, and religious matrices want you to believe that falling birthrates are merely a product of economic pressures, career choices, cultural shifts, or environmental contamination. But this is a horizontal illusion designed to keep you blind to the vertical reality.
The un-inverted scriptural truth is absolute: God is in complete, sovereign control of the birthrates on this Earth today.
Yes, the womb of a woman is the beautiful, physical conduit through which the Earth is filled. But whether a new soul is allowed to enter the clay, or is blocked from doing so, is determined directly, legally, and exclusively by God Himself.
THE SCRIPTURAL BLUEPRINT OF THE SOVEREIGN PIPELINE:
📍 The Corporate Shutdown of Abimelech: In Genesis, we see God instantly and completely freeze the reproductive pipeline of an entire kingdom (“For the Lord had fast closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech”). The moment the legal boundary dispute was resolved, God opened them again—proving Him as the absolute administrator of population levels.
📍 The Closed Womb of Hannah: Scripture explicitly notes that Hannah’s years of barrenness were not a biological mistake or a random medical anomaly, but a direct, purposeful act of divine timing (“but the Lord had shut up her womb”).
📍 Rachel’s Remembering: Rachel struggled for years on the horizontal plane until a vertical checkpoint was reached (“And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb”).
📍 The Challenge of Isaiah 66:9: To eliminate all human speculation about who holds the master keys to the biological highway, the Creator issues His ultimate challenge: “Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the Lord: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.”
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR THE LITTLE SEASON:
For those who are still trying to understand the timeline of the Little Season, (and after that he must be loosed a little season. Rev. 20:3b) the global collapse in birthrates is the ultimate physical sign that the lease of this old creation is expiring.
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Revelation 21:1,2

And yet, our country has become so depraved that we’re willing to take subjects like that and test them in court. They shouldn’t even be tested in court. It shouldn’t even be a consideration. It never was before. It’s just in this age of enlightenment. It seems where we’ve become so smart that we don’t need to listen to God. Sad, isn’t it? And so He blessed them. And what did He say to man and woman? Be fruitful and increase in number. That’s what he said. Go out and have children, and fill the earth and subdue it. I’d like to read an article here. It says, “By the time the Lord made woman, he was into his sixth day and working overtime. An angel appeared and said, “Why are you spending so much time on this one? And the Lord answered, “It in this article, but Lord probably answered. I think I could do better. But anyway, he said, “If you see my specs on her, she has to be completely washable, but not plastic. Have over 200 movable parts, all replaceable and able to run on diet coke and leftovers. Have a lap that can hold four children at one time. Have a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken heart, and she’ll do everything with only two hands. The angel was astounded at the requirements. He said, “Only two hands? No way. And that’s just on the standard model. This is too much work for one day. Wait until tomorrow to finish. But I won’t. The Lord protested. I am so close to finishing this creation that it is close to my own heart. She already heals herself when she’s sick and can work for 18-hour days, the angel moved closer and touched the woman. But you’ve made her so soft, Lord. She is soft, the Lord agreed. But I have also made her tough, and you have no idea what she can endure or accomplish. Will she be able to think? Asked the angel. The Lord replied. “Not only will she be able to think, but she’ll be able to reason and negotiate. The angel then noticed something and, reaching out, touched the woman’s cheek. “Oops! It looks like you have a leak in this model. I told you that you were trying to put too much into this one. “No, it’s not a leak, the Lord corrected, “That’s a tear. Well, what’s the tear for? The angel asked. The Lord said, “The tear is her way of expressing her joy, her sorrow, her pain, her disappointment, her love, her loneliness, her grief, and her pride. The angel was impressed. “You’re a genius, Lord. You thought of everything. Woman is truly amazing, and she is.
Women have strength that amazes men. Is that true or not? When I look, coming back from Florida, at these young mothers with kids on both hips, and bottles and everything, and I think to myself, a man would go crazy having to take care of all of this, and yet a woman does that. You see a woman walking down the street carrying this child. It’s like carrying a great big bottle of water, 35, 40, pounds, and they carry it. And a man walks behind her, thanking God he’s a man, and she’s carrying the baby. But they’re amazing creatures; they truly are. They have the strength that amazes men. They bear hardships and carry burdens, but they hold happiness and love and joy. They smile when they want to scream. They sing when they want to cry. They cry when they’re happy and laugh when they’re nervous. They fight for what they believe in. They stand up to injustice. They don’t take no for an answer when they believe that there is a better solution, and they go without so their family can have. They go to a doctor with a frightened friend. They love unconditionally. They cry when their children excel and cheer when their friends get awards. They’re happy when they hear about a birth or a wedding. Their heart breaks when a friend dies. They grieve at the loss of a family member, and yet they’re strong when they think there is no strength left. They know that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart. Women come in all sizes, shapes, and colors. They drive, they fly, they walk, run, or email you to show you how much they care about you. The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning. They bring joy and hope and love. They have compassion and ideals. They give moral support to their family and friends. Women have vital things to say and everything to give. However, there is one flaw in women: it’s that they forget their worth. It’s a pretty good statement, isn’t it?
Well, there isn’t anything in the world today, my friends, that satan, I believe, is accomplishing any more than the destruction of the family, and you see that taking place in every way, shape, and form, where the family is being destroyed and is continually trying to be destroyed, even with the fact of a family no longer being a male and a female, but two of the same sex, and in so doing, totally destroying the family unit that God called into existence. And again, when you’re dealing with things of this world, and we live in a day and age and a generation where everything is being attacked that is true, you have to go back and say, well, what is my point of reference in regard to what truth is? Is it man’s opinion? Is it the Da Vinci Code? Is it Judas’ gospel? Or is it the Word of God?
When people come up and discuss evolution, I have a very simplistic answer to evolution, and it’s called Jesus. And if Jesus said, and Jesus indeed is God, and Jesus said that God created man, then God created man, and if He isn’t God, who cares where we came from? We’re here, and if you want to believe that we came from an ape, according to your faith, be it unto you. Some of us act like we were created by an ape, but the issue is that if Jesus Christ is God, then that subject should not even be discussed. I had a lady call the other night on radio at the same thing. That’s what I told. I said, “Look, you’re you’re you’re dealing these people all this scientific. Why do we want to believe that scientists have some kind of an instrument that can go back into billions and billions of years? What kind of an instrument is that? And yet we will buy that kind of nonsense at the exclusion of the Word of God.

And so he said to he said to man and woman. He took them and put them in the garden of Eden to work it, to take care of it, and the Lord, commanded the man, “You’re free to take and eat from any tree in the garden, but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat, you will surely die. And my friends, that was the beginning of the fall of man, when man decided that I can determine right from wrong and good from evil on my own. I do not need God to do that, that’s what’s going on today. I will determine what’s right and wrong, and if I think it’s okay to do this, then that makes it okay. That puts us position, does it not, in a position of being God, and that is precisely what man has done from the Garden of Eden. You will be like God, and they think and we think that we are like God, and that I have the right to determine right from wrong and good from evil. I do not need God’s opinion of this. I do not need God’s statement of this. I, wonderful, beautiful, capable, brilliant man, can determine it on my own. Egotistical. I forgot that. On my own, the big I, the ego, the pride of man. These little pipsqueaks down here. I get amazed every time I fly someplace. I get up and it doesn’t seem like I’m that high, and I see all these roads, roads that are heavily traveled, freeways. I’m sure you can’t see a car on them. You cannot even big limos. You cannot see them. It looks like the earth is totally without anyone on it. Have you ever flown and seen that? You can’t see anything, let alone can you see a man down there. You can’t even see a bus or a car. All you got to do is just get up a few 1000 feet, and you can’t see us. Isn’t that isn’t that discouraging to think that you can’t see us? And you know what? It looks peaceful, doesn’t it? It looks so peaceful. Just all you have is ground and and trees. You just got all kinds of stuff. There’s only one problem. You got to land. You got to get closer. And when you get closer, who do you get closer to? Us. And when you get close to us, what do you got? A problem on your hands. A group of people that have ignored God and said, “I’ll do it my way. I’ll think it my way. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.
And so God created heaven and earth, and He created man and woman. What does Satan want to do? Destroy everything that He created. You see, we talk about building bigger churches. That always amazes me. Is where Jesus Himself said, “I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. And man says, “Uh-uh, no, we’ll build it. You just haven’t seen all my man-made techniques yet, and you haven’t been to church growth seminars yet, and you haven’t seen the way that I can plant churches that always amazes me. Plant churches. How do you plant one of those? And you know what they do? Go down and build a building, hope someone shows up. Call that a church. I built a church. No, you didn’t. No, you didn’t. You couldn’t build a church, and I couldn’t build a church if we wanted to. We can build stupid things, but we couldn’t build a church because, from God’s standpoint, the church is people. This isn’t the church; this is the building. You could put a warehouse in here. Am I right or wrong?

God’s church is where He’s the head, and you and I have been made into His body. That’s God’s church, the day that the Spirit of God comes to live within you, and then baptizes or places you into His body. That’s the church. This isn’t the church. You are the church. So how are you going to plant you? And yet we go and say, “I’m planting churches. Why don’t you say I’m going to go share Jesus? Because Jesus alone forms His church. He’s the only one that’s got a church that’s worth anything. In this assembly, I would hope that everyone in here is a part of Jesus Church, but I don’t know that you do. You know whether you’re a part of Christ Jesus Church or not. You know whether you belong to Christ or not. I don’t know. I don’t need to know, but you know, and God knows whether you’re a part of the church or not. Now you have denominations come along and say, “Oh, we’re the church. We, how do you know you’re the church? Well, because it’s our name, Church of Christ, Church of God. We’re the church. I say, boy, how foolish, how foolish you are, to not see that God’s church is made up of people, just you’s and me’s. He doesn’t need amazing people, but he does need people willing to listen to God, doesn’t he?
And so as we as we have the opportunity to sit back and open up the Word of God, and you say, well, what does He want from us? What does he want from you? And what does he want from me? And and what kind? If if I was to say, God, what kind of a of a woman? If if I was a woman, what kind of a woman do you want me to be? And I want to tell you something. He tells us. And and Proverbs. We haven’t been in proverbs a long time, but Proverbs tells us what kind of a woman and what kind of an attitude would make up this kind of a woman. Now I want to tell you today that you’re going to be shocked when you read through this. As a matter of fact, you might get hilariously laughing when you go through when you see what he says about Proverbs woman, but I want to tell you something. What has happened in this world today is we’ve gotten all kinds of man-made ideas, haven’t we, about what woman should be like and what man should be like. I mean, do you think that God intended for men to be out and to be macho and have a beer in one hand, cigarette in the other, and big old machos? You think that’s what God’s idea of a man is? Well, I mean, is that Jesus riding around my motorcycle, tailgate people, my truck? Is that what God said for man? I mean, I’m not saying motorcycles are bad. The guy we saw in Florida would think so. He crashed driving down the freeway like an idiot. But guys, want to tell you something. God wants men to be men, and you know what a man is? He’s gentle, and a man is considerate, and a man is supposed to be loving, and a man is supposed to be cooperative. And then there’s things for women.
Let’s take a look at these characteristics of a woman. A wife of noble character, Bible says, who can find? So obviously, if it’s saying that a wife of noble character who can find it, it means maybe that they’re not real easy to find. But it doesn’t negate the fact that this is what God calls a wife of noble character. She’s worth far more, it says, than rubies, and her husband has full confidence in her, and lacks nothing of value. A wife of noble character brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. She’s there, in other words, to encourage her husband. A wife is not there to tear her husband down and to make him feel like an idiot or a fool. A wife is there to build her husband up and to make him feel like he’s worth something. How many of us do that? Or is our pride sometimes so great that what we really want to do is to get in competition?
You see, so many people look at marriage as a tennis match instead of a partner’s game in a tennis match. If you’re in a tennis match with your wife, you’re on the same side of the fence. You’re there to cooperate with each other, not to compete with one another. And when you’ve got an attitude of competition with your wife, you are not in God’s will. Period. Or you are in competition with your husband. You are not in God’s will. You’re not there to compete with one another. You’re there to serve one another. You’re there to build one another. And a wife of noble character, talked about in the scripture, is one that her husband has full confidence in her. It’s a wonderful thing to have a wife that you have full confidence in, and lacks nothing of value. But she brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. So again, she is a woman of encouragement. Do you know, gals, that you can tear your husband down to nothing? Do you know that you can reduce your husband to nothingness? You can be the most popular person on the face of the earth, but if your wife puts you down, you’re going to be down. There’s only one person that a man really wants to please: his wife. There’s only one person that he wants to hear a compliment from. His wife. Only one, and probably vice versa. And yet, so many times our pride or ego is such that I’m not going to build him up. I’m going to tear him down, and the Bible talks about that how God builds a marriage and a woman tears it down with her mouth. So we have to be careful, don’t we? Do you want to be a noble wife of noble character? Then quit tearing your husband down and build him up and encourage him. You’ll be amazing what your husband will do and accomplish when you start building him up instead of tearing him down.
She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands. Now, what’s she doing that for? Well, she’s making things. She’s working without complaining. How many of us do that? You know, guys, in this day and age, you you stop to think what we have in the kitchen alone. I mean, you got microwaves for quick food. You got stoves. I’ll explain to some of you what that looks like. You know, it’s like the like like this guy’s 10th anniversary, and he said to his wife, “You know, what do you want to do? And she said, “Take me someplace I’ve never been. Said, “Good. Let’s go to the kitchen. And so, we we have to realize that there’s all kinds of things. There’s dishwashers. There’s there’s there’s all kinds of things that you didn’t used to have. Stop to think. Just back in most of our mom and dad’s days, they didn’t have dishwashers. They didn’t have laundry equipment. You remember those old deals that rolled? You used to put the laundry in, and and then when Amy’s days, they had to scrub them with a scrub. Remember that with with a scrub deal with your hands. Everything had to be done with your hands. Hang it up on clotheslines. You don’t even know what a clothesline is today. You think the phone company made a mistake? You don’t know what. But we have all these conveniences, and yet still people complain. Why? Well, we really are ungrateful, aren’t we? When you stop to think about it, we’re pretty ungrateful people. All of us. This is Mother’s Day, so you women are getting pretty good today, but Father’s Day is coming. She selects wool. She’s like the merchant ships bringing her food from afar. She feeds the family. You know, some people, if they ever got a cooked meal, they’d think it’s in the wrong house. One of the jobs of a mother is to prepare food for your kids and for your family. McDonald’s is okay, but I’m going to tell you, home cooked meal’s better, isn’t it? And yet, you find people today say, “No, I don’t have time to cook. I know kids that don’t even get meals. Got to find their own meals. Mothers who let kids grow up and could care less whether they got breakfast or morning. Go fix your own. That’s what’s going on today. That’s the kind of mentality that you see today that is permeating the world. Is this attitude. I’m too good to do this. I am above cooking a meal, and don’t ask me to do windows. I’m above this. Well, since when did we get above serving people and doing what God says is noble? When did our when did our heads get to the point of getting so far away from God that we say this is what God says is noble, and I say it’s junk? You see what I’m getting at? We’re not following what God says.
A woman of noble virtue provides food for her family and portions for her servant girls. She gets up while it’s still dark to provide food for her family. She considers a field and buys it. Out of her earnings, she plants a vineyard. She sets about her work vigorously. Her arms are strong for her tasks. She sees that her trading is profitable and her lamp does not go out at night. In other words, she’s continually thinking. And and folks, when you see women working over in different parts of the world, this is what you see. You see the women. If you go to Russia, you go down and you see the women out on the streets selling their merchants, selling their food, selling their goods, and they’re industrious. She opens her arms to the poor. She extends her hands to the needy, not sitting there just thinking about what I got and and what I got and what I got. You’re you’re you’re there to share with people. When it snows, she has no fear of her household, for all of them are clothed in scarlet. So they’re clothed. They’ve taken care of their family. She makes coverings for her bed. She decorates. Now I know some of you women are sitting there saying, “I am not doing too well in this first deal, but this decorating thing, I’m really into that. You’d say, “I told you I was a virtuous woman. She makes covering for a bed. She’s clothed in fine linen and purple. Her husband is respected at the city gates, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land. She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes. She’s clothed with strength and dignity, and she can laugh at the days to come. She’s got a good sense of humor. She’s fun loving. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. I’ll tell you something. We guys have difficulty sometimes understanding the value of your wife or of a woman.
