Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P1077 (10-17-25)

The Law Was Fullfilled by God Christ Jesus

~ Jesus fulfilled the Law for us, so that in Him we could become the righteousness of God. Jesus said it is Finished! Believe it. Now there are many many people that say they believe in Jesus, yet they spit in the face of Jesus and don’t believe that forgiveness was completed at the cross. They think they get their sins forgiven today when they ask for it or the first time they receive Jesus. Yet we know without the shedding of blood there is NO forgiveness, and most have a disconnect between the Truth of the Word of God and what the cross actually accomplished. And even those who are saved, have been brainwashed into believing in either ongoing forgiveness, or they were told by Man that they got their sins forgiven when they first received Christ Jesus.

The issue today is NOT sins, but it is Life. Those without the Spirit of God do not have the Spirit of God for Life. And those that have understood that Jesus took away all their sins at the cross can now say Thank You to God Himself. Saying Thanks is an indicator of Faith in Him. And God wants us to know that there is no condemation (no death) for those in Christ Jesus. So Thank Jesus for the forgiveness he provided for at the cross. He saw all your sins at the cross and took them upon Himself, never to see them again. And that forgiveness is RECEIVED ACCEPTED, applying FAITH when you personally accept Jesus for He is, God in flesh, and what He did for you at the cross, took away ALL your sins. And if you still have not understood that He took away ALL your sins at the cross, and also the sins of the whole world, then simply apply FAITH to the equation right this very moment in time and thank Him that He took away your sins at the cross, even if you had thought asking for forgiveness to begin with was when God forgave you. But now you know TRUTH.

~ “1 Therefore there is now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus. 2 For the Law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the Law of sin and death. 3 For of the Law being powerless in that it was weak through the flesh, God, having sent His Son in likeness of sin of flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh, 4 so that the righteousness of the Law should be fulfilled in us not walking according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

5 For those being according to flesh mind the things of the flesh; but those according to Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit, life and peace, 7 because the mind of the flesh is hostility toward God; for it is not subject to the Law of God, for not even can it be. 8 And those being in the flesh are not able to please God.

9 Now you are not in flesh but in Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you; but if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not of Him. 10 But if Christ is in you, the body is indeed dead on account of sin, but the Spirit is life on account of righteousness. 11 And if the Spirit of the One having raised up Jesus out from the dead dwells in you, the One having raised up Christ Jesus out from the deadc also will give life to your mortal bodies, on account of His Spirit dwelling in you.” Romans 8:1-11

Bob George discusses the fulfillment of the law by Jesus, emphasizing that only Christ could perfectly keep the law. He explains that believers are considered righteous through their faith in Christ, who fulfilled the law. Callers inquire about the salvation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons, with Bob clarifying that these groups do not accept the biblical Jesus. He also addresses the concept of spiritual fatherhood, stating it is not biblical. Bob encourages listeners to focus on the New Covenant, led by the Spirit, and to study the Bible deeply to understand and apply its teachings.

“Jesus fulfilled the law. The fulfillment of the law would be walking in sinless perfection in every aspect of the law. James amplified that by saying, if you kept the entire law and yet violated one point, you’re guilty of breaking all of it. And so no man was ever able to fulfill the law except Christ, Jesus. So he’s saying that there won’t be one thing subtracted from the law until everything is fulfilled. And that’s what he came to do. And in matter of fact, it then tells us that the law has been fulfilled in us now because of our relationship to the one who did fulfill the law. That the law has been fulfilled in us who do not walk after the flesh, but after the Spirit. We couldn’t fulfill it, but through our identity to the one who did, we are considered righteous in the sight of God.” – Bob George
