When A Saint’s Physical Body Dies, He Never Dies, and Is Absent From that Body and Present With the Lord

~ “Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:12

~ The apostle Paul was crystal clear on teaching that a child of God, those who are in Christ Jesus, those who have the Holy Spirit living in them, those that are born again of the Spirit of God, they are absent from the body and present with the Lord when their physical body dies. A child of God, a Saint of God, a son of God, ALL refer to those who are True children of God, and when their physical bodies die, they get a new Spiritual body immediately, and go into the presence of Jesus in glorified New bodies that will never perish.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me will live, even though he dies. And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25,26

Paul’s teaching lines up directly with the Truth of Jesus and the Word of God. Paul simply goes on to explain in greater detail, because He was instructed by the Holy Spirit himself to do that, to be a TRUTH teller, and that is where we are at today also. We are to be Truth tellers. Paul doesn’t beat around the bush. Paul hits hard on this subject, as he does with most subjects, so we ought to pay attention to the details. For the details matter in EVERYTHING.

But someone will say, “How are the dead raised? And with what body do they come?” You fool! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. And what you sow is not the body that will be, but you sow a bare grain, if it may be of wheat, or of some of the rest. But God gives it a body as He has willed, and to each of the seeds, its own body.

Not all flesh is the same, but indeed one flesh is of men, and another flesh is of beasts, and another flesh is of birds, and another is of fish. And there are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies. But truly the glory of the heavenly is one kind, and that of the earthly is another. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star differs from star in glory.

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in decay; it is raised in immortality. It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual. So also it has been written: “The first man Adam became into a living soul;”e the last Adam into a life-giving spirit.

However, the spiritual was not first, but the natural; then the spiritual. The first man was made of dust from the earth, the second man from heaven. As the one was made of dust, so also are those of the earth; and as is the heavenly one, so also are those of heaven. And as we have borne the image of the earthly, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. 1 Corinthians 15:35-49

Consider having a Bible study yourself and teaching one or two others the Truth of the word of God. Those with ears, they will want to hear. We have many excellent Bible study books that are very easy to use that involve simply reading the word of God and answering the questions provided. The answers themselves are right there in the word of God.

“Well, Robert, again, what you have to do with this is just take the Scripture and just go to the 15th chapter of Corinthians and take it and see what it says. It says in there that, because this is what you’re talking about, is, how are the dead raised? That’s that’s the question. You’re not talking about end times. You’re talking about, how are the dead raised, and with what kind of a body will they come and so he says that the body that is sown, that is sown is perishable. It is raised imperishable. It doesn’t say it will be raised. It says it is raised. It is sown. It is sown in dishonor. It is raised in glory, not it will be, but it is. And it is sown in weakness. It’s raised in power, and it’s sown a natural body that’s putting our body where it belongs, back in the grave. We came from the dust. We’re going to return to the dust. So it’s sown a natural body, and it’s raised a spiritual body. Then it says there’s a natural body and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, the first man, Adam, became a living being, and the last Adam, a life giving spirit. The spiritual did not come first, which would eliminate the idea that Mormons have, that you’re alive spiritually, and looking for a body to come into. The Spiritual does not come first, but the natural. You have to be born of your mom and dad before you can be born spiritually. And after that, it says the spiritual, the first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven. So we came from the dust. And the second man, our spiritual man, came from heaven, as it as was the as was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth, and as and and as is the man from heaven, so also are those who are from heaven. And so it says. And just as we have been born in the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from heaven. I declare to you, brothers, flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable that’s us, this body of ours, inherit the imperishable that’s your that’s your glorified body, or your spiritual body. I think you could call it glorified or call it spiritual. And I tell you, Misty will not all sleep. It will all be changed. And it goes ahead to talk about the fact that when this takes place, the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable and the mortal with immortality, then the saying will come death has been swallowed up in victory. So again, it’s not talking about end times. It’s talking about what happens to us when we die, we’re told that we’re absent from the body and immediately present with the Lord. So the idea that that the soul, our soul, is here, and we’re said we are seated in the heavenlies with Christ, Jesus. We have no idea what that means. We have no point of reference on that.” ~ Bob George
