Present With The Lord

Classic Christianity – Your New Body – 9-21-26

~ Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when Christ appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is. – 1 John 3:22

Folks, we need to remember that Jesus is flesh and bone at this very moment in time. He is not simply a spirit being. He can be touched, spoken to, carry on a conversation with, walk alongside with, and see and hear Him when in His physical presence. Jesus proved that after His resurrection where he shows up grilling some fish to eat on the beach, and even eats and drinks food Himself. And also when appearing to them in a room and Thomas had been doubting earlier, thinking that the other Apostles were simply seeing a ghost. But Jesus declares that He was not a ghost.

Today we also have a tendendency to equate Jesus to only a ghost being. But we are told that Jesus is flesh and bone. So when we go to be with Jesus, the very last moment we are in our mortal bodies, and that mortal body expires, for whatever reason, we are then clothed in our new immortal bodies of flesh and bone, and appear before Him just as He Himself is.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus Grilling Some Fish After His Resurrection

Absent From This Body and Present With the Lord

~ Therefore we are always confident, although we know that while we are at home in the body, we are away from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, then, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:6-8

~ When a child of God goes to sleep, for the very last time, on their last day, in this body of flesh and blood, we get our new physical/spiritual bodies immediately present with the Lord, that are in the same type of condition that Jesus’ body is in, flesh and bone. Don’t forget, when Jesus was raised from the dead, He had a physical body that could talk, could eat, could walk and do things, could be seen and touched by those still in the physical mortal bodies of flesh and blood. This was witnessed by many after His resurrection and before He went away to send the Holy Spirit for Life (for us) 50 days after the resurection. Faith Says Thank You to God!

 ~ For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:19 New Living Translation

~ To give thanks for what God has done for you at the cross requires understanding what Jesus did for you at the cross. “For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:19 No one can thank God for what He has done for them at the cross and ask for forgiveness at the same time. The two are diametrically opposed to one another. Giving thanks, is a sign of FAITH in Jesus. While the opposite is asking for God to forgive you, and is a sign of UNBELIEF. For without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness by God, and Jesus is never going to die on the cross ever again. So put it to rest, and tell it like it is. There are no in-betweens. When A Saint’s Physical Body Dies, He Never Dies, and Is Absent From that Body and Present With the Lord

~ “Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:12

~ The apostle Paul was crystal clear on teaching that a child of God, those who are in Christ Jesus, those who have the Holy Spirit living in them, those that are born again of the Spirit of God, they are absent from the body and present with the Lord when their physical body dies. A child of God, a Saint of God, a son of God, ALL refer to those who are True children of God, and when their physical bodies die, they get a new Spiritual body immediately, and go into the presence of Jesus in glorified New bodies that will never perish.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me will live, even though he dies. And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25,26

Synopsis

As you study the scriptures, hold onto those things that are true. Do not let more obscure passages lead you into confusion and error. Let us not forget that the goal of instruction is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. The only thing that counts is faith that expresses itself in love.

There are scriptures that are very clear, such as the gospel, that requires faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and nothing added to that, nothing that you do, but what God alone has done for you in Christ Jesus. Hold onto that truth, that in Christ Jesus, you are a forgiven person, and that you have eternal life because of the eternal consequence of the cross, with His righteousness imputed to you. You must have a firm grasp on such truth. Be single-minded on that, and do not be double-minded, mixing law and grace, or doubting that Jesus took away all your sins, thinking that He only took away some of your sins.
