Folks, let’s not lose sight of the fact that Jesus is a physical person after His resurrection. He can be seen, carry on a conversation with, have a fish fry and touch and hold onto Him. He is flesh and bone. And someday will shall be just like He is, clothed in our new glorified bodies that come down directly from heaven to clothe us. And that is what we look forward to happening someday. And someday, there will be a new heaven and a NEW EARTH. True Man and True Woman Have The Spirit of God Living in Them

~ When two people a True Man and a True Woman are married and are in Christ Jesus, then the two are one. Why? Because they have the mind of Christ Jesus living in them. The Holy Spirit is alive in both of them and He is constantly renewing our mind. However, when two people are married, and one is in Christ and the other is not, then they are unequally yoked together. Now that may have happened at the beginning of the relationship, or it may have happened sometime in the middle of being married. But do not lose heart, and the word of God speaks to this also. If you can hang in there, hang in there for the one in Christ. Because you never know if your spouse may eventually come to know the Lord and become born again of the Spirit of God.

And this is so important to understand, that without both being in Christ, you may find situations where the husband or the wife is listening to their mom or dad for things related to marriage, that should not be given because their mom or dad may not know the Lord either and is essentially giving unsolicited and unbiblical advice.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

What is the True Gospel?

Many topics of conversation came up in today’s program. These topics of conversation are extremely relevant for today. There are so many pastors that have huge church followings for prosperity gospel teachings. This is not the gospel! And that is where we begin today.

The first caller, Ken called from Frisco Texas. He had a question about searching for a church in their area. Also, he noticed that a lot of the pastors taught the prosperity gospel. In addition to that he wanted to know Bob’s opinion on the husband and wife team being lead pastors at a church.

Bob explains out of the Book of 1 Timothy chapter 6 in regards to these false teachers that preach a prosperity gospel is of a corrupt mind.

 

1 Timothy 6:3-5
3 If anyone teaches otherwise and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, 4 they are conceited and understand nothing. They have an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions 5 and constant friction between people of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.

New Glorified Body for Christians

Synopsis

As you study the scriptures, hold onto those things that are true. Do not let more obscure passages lead you into confusion and error. Let us not forget that the goal of instruction is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. The only thing that counts is faith that expresses itself in love.

There are scriptures that are very clear, such as the gospel, that requires faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and nothing added to that, nothing that you do, but what God alone has done for you in Christ Jesus. Hold onto that truth, that in Christ Jesus, you are a forgiven person, and that you have eternal life because of the eternal consequence of the cross, with His righteousness imputed to you. You must have a firm grasp on such truth. Be single-minded on that, and do not be double-minded, mixing law and grace, or doubting that Jesus took away all your sins, thinking that He only took away some of your sins. Heaven is Jesus

Synopsis

The Jews have been taught all their life from the Old Testament scriptures by the rabbis, but many of the religious leaders in their day did not understand the purpose of the law. They taught the laws as a means of righteousness. They also added traditions of men, which God never approved, and which Jesus pointed out their error. How hard it is for people today to receive truth, when they have been taught wrong from their religious traditions, whether Catholic, Protestant or Jewish. You do not know you are taught wrong. You hear an explanation from a Protestant or Catholic religious leader, but you do not know why Jesus died, was buried and rose again, for you. Listen, as Bob George, through simply reading the scriptures in its entirety, and in its context, explains what Jesus meant when he said, in John 6:52 and following, “you must eat my body and drink my blood”.
