Your Sins Are Forgiven

The Body of Christ Jesus is The Church ~ Church is Not a Building on the Corner of Walk and Don’t Walk ~ All Your Sins Have Been (Past Tense) Forgiven.

~ Today, most pastors and teachers are teaching the error of your sins are not forgiven until you ask for it from God. They don’t believe the Word of God and are double-minded in their belief system. With one part of their mouth they say all your sins have been forgiven, past, present and future, and the very next words out of their mouth are, but if you confess it he will forgive your sins again. They do that over and over again. There is no difference between the Catholic and the Protestant, both deny the finished work of Jesus on the cross. They refuse to exercise faith in Him.

Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” Hebrews 10:17

There is only one response you can do the next time you sin, and that is to say Thank you God for having taken it away at the cross.

And what it says is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks for participation in the blood of Christ, in other words, the life of Christ. And is not the bread that we break up participation in the body of Christ, because there’s one loaf we who are many are one body, for we all partake of that one loaf. In general, people call in because they want to know what truth, to grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Some may be infants in Christ, and others may be believers for quite some time, but have been wandering around in erroneous teaching, and are just beginning to grab a hold of what truth is. Even topics as basic as Baptism and the Lord’s supper. Even those that rightly understand that baptism, that of water, does not save you, but is a ceremony, do not understand the Lord’ supper.

There are those who are genuinely confused over baptism, and that can vary depending on your religious upbringing. But, as you read scripture, it would become very clear to you. Both John the Baptist and Jesus clearly tell us about the fact that the water baptism that John performed was to be replaced by the spiritual baptism that Jesus alone accomplished for us, placing into the body of Christ the moment you, by faith, came to accept his death, burial and resurrection for you.

The Jews have been taught all their life from the Old Testament scriptures by the rabbis, but many of the religious leaders in their day did not understand the purpose of the law. They taught the laws as a means of righteousness. They also added traditions of men, which God never approved, and which Jesus pointed out their error. How hard it is for people today to receive truth, when they have been taught wrong from their religious traditions, whether Catholic, Protestant or Jewish. You do not know you are taught wrong.
