God Jesus Does NOT Pick Winners and Losers

~ “that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s trespasses against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” Romans 8:1-4

~ Calvinism also called Reformed teaching has infiltrated all denominations today. All denominations teach ongoing forgiveness by God and don’t teach the saving Life of Jesus. They conflate the two, and teach that getting your sins forgiven is salvation, which is a lie. And on top of that, they claim that Jesus only died for the select few, that He himself decides who to save or not to save, which is another lie. And then on top of that, even so-called grace teachers teach this idea as one point of Calvinism, that Jesus doesn’t forgive your sins until you ask him to forgive you, and thus they place the emphasis on what a person is doing for God to obtain forgiveness, which is another lie. So all of these lies of Satan, all center around the forgiveness issue, with hardly any talk of the truly saving Life of Christ Jesus coming to live in you. Many will even teach, just like the Catholics, that you can lose your salvation if you don’t ask for forgiveness from God. Of course, the question comes up, what if I forget to confess one of my sins? Does he still forgive me? Which is a total misunderstanding of what Jesus did at the cross. Because without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness by God, and he is never going to die on the cross ever again. Either God remembers our sins no more, or he is still remembering our sins today. Which is Truth? God remembers our sins no more. He is NOT counting anyone’s sins against them. “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.” Hebrews 8:12 So which side of the cross are you living under? Before the cross, or after the cross where He remembers our sins no more?

So each of us has a decision to make along the way in our lives, who are you going to believe, God or Man? It’s a choice everyone has. And God gave each of us a free will choice to make it. He didn’t make robots. He doesn’t force anyone to accept Him. Yet Pride says I want to do forgiveness my way, and God says, I did forgiveness only ONE way. For there is only one decision that leads to eternal life, trusting in God and Him alone for His forgiveness that was provided at the cross. Faith says thank you to God. Start exercising faith today.

Likewise, Hebrews and Gentiles are saved the exact same way, through faith in Jesus. That is key, because there are some that are teaching God saves Hebrews differently than he saves Gentiles. This is another lie of Satan, that attempts to divide the body of Christ Jesus. Yet we are told in the scriptures, that the two become One in Christ Jesus. So don’t listen to Satan’s deceivers out there, that teach Paul taught something different to the Gentiles and that the other Apostles taught something different to the Hebrews in order to be saved.

Bob George discusses the sovereignty of God and human free will, emphasizing that God initiated creation and salvation, giving humans the ability to choose. He criticizes the reformed emphasis on sovereignty over mercy and kindness, arguing that salvation is about receiving life through Christ’s resurrection, not just forgiveness. George clarifies that salvation is NOT universal, reconciling the world to God is universal, but that is not salvation. Salvation is the Holy Spirit giving LIFE Eternal to a person. He addresses a caller’s question on divorce, advising that if an unbelieving spouse leaves, the believer should let them go. He also explains the Trinity and the significance of Jesus’ cry on the cross, linking it to Psalm 22.

“Jim people have made a mountain out of mole hill on this sovereignty. Obviously, God is sovereign, and what sovereign means is that he is the initiator of all things. We’re responders, and he’s the initiator. God initiated the fact, first of all, he initiated at the creation of man to give man a will, a choose, an ability to choose. Had he not done that, we would be robots. We would not be human beings. We’d be robots. There would be no decision to love God. It would just be forced upon us as a robot. That was a part of his sovereign choice. When He came to salvation, He also made a choice, and that was that he was going to send his Son into the world. And it was God’s will that none should perish and that all should come to repentance. I think these people that are continually talking about sovereignty instead of talking about the salvation that came from God, the mercy, the kindness, the goodness, why don’t they use those words all they talk about sovereignty. We all know God’s sovereign, but what does that tell us about his mercy? Is he merciful? Is he kind? Is he loving? That’s what Jesus told us about God. And the issue is that God sent His Son into this world, into a man has not fallen beyond repair, neither is man’s spirits dead to the to the world. It’s dead to what vacated him, which is God, but his spirit is very much alive. Otherwise he’d be an animal. If your spirit is dead, dead, then all you’ve got left is a soul and a body, and a dog has that. And so we that’s all in a part of the of the plan of God as to how he was going to save us, to how he made us, and how he is going to save us. And when Christ came to this earth and walked on this earth, some people accepted him and some rejected. It wasn’t that God chose who was going to do that we chose whether we were going to accept him or whether we were going to reject. Him to as many as received him to them, he gave the right to become a child of God to those who didn’t, we don’t. Choose today. He said, In whom you’re going to serve all the way through the Scriptures, ask, well, if you, if you, if you don’t have any will in anything, what do you need to ask for? Why would you ever pray? Why would there ever be evangelism? The reformed emphasis that they have, to me, is the most ridiculous theology on the face of the earth, it absolutely defies everything that you know is true about humanity, and what I know is true about God. And so yes, God is sovereign, and in His sovereignty, he chose to do what he chose to do, and what he chose to do was to give us a free will and to not make robots out of us. And what He chose to do in our fallen state was to redeem us through His Son Christ, Jesus and and He chose that for us, that when we do choose to come to Christ by faith, and that’s a choice that we can make, isn’t going to force us to love God, that’s a choice that we make, and when we do, then we’re going to be conformed. And that’s what, quite, quite frankly, in in the book of Ephesians, Jim, if you, if you read the book of Ephesians, in regard to the Hebrew and Gentile, because that’s what foreknowledge is about, and choosing it about using mes. It’s about the Gentile world and the Hebrew world clears a nose on your face when you read it to those of us who came to Christ by faith. We are chosen and for not the foreknowledge of God is that we’re going to be conformed to the image of Christ. That’s a promise of God that he’s going to do. And we’re in the business of being conformed into the image of Christ, and when we die and we become absent from the body and present with the Lord, then he chose God, chose that we would be like he like Christ, Jesus. So yeah, it’s we’ve taken words and just absolutely put an emphasis on it and negated all of the other wonderful things out of the characteristic of God.
