Once You Are Born Again of The Holy Spirit, You Cannot be Unborn

~ “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” ^{John 3:6}

~ Many people today believe that they can lose their salvation, because they really don’t understand what salvation is. Salvation is NOT getting your sins forgiven. Salvation is receiving eternal life the very moment a person places faith in Jesus. If Jesus did not die for all of your sins on the cross, then the very moment a person sinned again he would lose his life. But that cannot happen, because Jesus died for ALL sins, not just some sins, but the sins of the whole world.

~ “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” ^{1 John 2:2}

~ “The issue is here, John, that no man will ever be taken away from the book of life that is clearly in the scriptures, because that would be loss of salvation. And it’s impossible for a man who has been saved, to be unsaved. That is an impossibility unless you want to spit in the face of Jesus, and say that your sacrifice on the Cross did not take away from the eyes of God the sins of the entire world, because it had he not taken away the sins of the entire world, and then given life to us, the very moment that we sin, we would die. Why? Because that sin is still attributable to us. So it’s only the reason that we know that we have who those in Christ, who are truly in Christ Jesus have not temporal life, God didn’t give temporal life to anybody. He only gave eternal life. And the reason that I know that I have eternal life is because of the eternal consequence of the cross, where Jesus eternally took away the cause of spiritual death, which is sin. So no man will ever be taken, no man will ever lose what God has given to him. And so when you see both, when you see passages like this, first of all, you’re talking about people who have washed their robes. In other words, you’re standing in the righteousness of Christ and outside of that of the dogs. And you’re talking about Let him come? Well, what do you mean, let him come, that’s to the loss, let him come live, he’s thirsty, let him come. And so anyone who adds to these prophecies are added to it, he said, You’re gonna add to him the plagues. Well, God isn’t gonna give plagues to Christians. So, so you’re dealing there with us with salvation. And so when people are, John, what I see is this, just like in Hebrews, you continue to sin against the knowledge of truth. And there’s your sin, you’re sinning against the knowledge of truth. The knowledge of truth was given to us just in in that same earlier verses of that chapter, that under the New Covenant, he said, their sins and lawless acts, I will remember no more. And where these have been forgiven, there’s no longer any sacrifice for sins, there’s no more, there is no longer a human sacrifice, available to man. Back in those days, they not only had animal sacrifices, but they had human sacrifices. There is Jesus was the last human sacrifice the only person that was ever worthy to take away the sins of the entire world. Now you sin against that truth. He said, only you have to look forward to this raging fire that will consume the enemies of God, in other words, to go to hell, because you’re sinning against the knowledge of the revealed will of God. And so when you add to that, and it says in the scripture, if you add to this, let him be eternally condemned, you cannot add to the Gospel. And Paul says, that anyone that adds to the gospel that I shared with you, let him be eternally condemned. That’s harsh language, what what’s adding to the Gospel, adding baptism to salvation, adding tongues to salvation, adding church membership to salvation, adding your own righteousness to salvation, salvation is putting your faith in the fact that Jesus took away the sins of the entire world that includes you and me, and that he was raised from the dead in order to give to us what we did not have from birth, and that is life, spiritual life. And we have put our faith in that and are born again. And when you’re born, you can’t get unborn.” ~ Bob George
