Classic Christianity – If God Be For Us – Part 3 – 9-03-25
If God Be For Us – Part 3 – 9-03-25
~ For the gospel reveals the righteousness of God that comes by faith from start to finish, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” Romans 1:17
~ How does one live by faith? What if you found out that the things we have been taught in the world are ALL lies, what would you do? What if history is nothing more than a set of Lies that are agreed upon, what would you do if you found that out to be true? What if you found out that nothing is as it seems, how could you tell people the Truth of what is really going on? What if we are in a little season of deception, how would you know? What if the people that we all tend to repeatedly talk of, and compare them as Hebrews, what if they are NOT Hebrews, and simply stole the identity by replacing key words in the word of God with modern translations to make it seem like they are something of a people they are not? How would we know? Think about if folks, the Temple of God was destroyed around 70 AD and ALL The Temple records, for ALL the birth records of ALL HEBREWS were destroyed, indicating who was born of which tribe of Israel. So tell me again, how would we know who is who today? Who are the TRUE HEBREWS and who are the Gentiles? The early church (True HEBREWS/ISRAELITES and some gentiles) faced tribulation like nothing else before. The fact is, Jesus was an ISRAELITE, not a j@@. Yet we have all been guilty of exchanging the TRUTH for a LIE. Satan has us ALL repeating the lie as though they are one and the same. Take a look for yourself at the actual words (not the translated words), and it’s easy to see that the made-up word ‘j@@’ was added to the scriptures and replaced the original words Yahudah and Ioudaios. A j@@ is not Yahudah (Yahudiym-plural) or Ioudaios. j@@ are Canaanite-Edomite Idumeans. It’s easy to verify the actual words used in the word of God, for the verification system is at everyone’s finger tips. Look up and see the original words for yourself, and it’s obvious that they don’t match up to the word j@@. Of course the print houses say the word is now a modern translation (interesting fact right there). And another reminder, ISRAEL is a people, NOT a modern day country of liars and deceivers. For the Israelites were the descendants of Jacob (later known as Israel), NOT the country of Israel (Is Not Real) today.
Trust in the LORD JESUS with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3-5,6 referenced.
So what does that mean for today? We need to go back to basics, and read the word of God with understanding from the Holy Spirit to teach us ALL TRUTH. For we were all deceived during this time of great deception, and we passed on satan’s lies with no clue as to what we were doing. This TRUTH is being revealed by the Holy Spirit for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear the TRUTH of the word of God. Who are the sons of God today? True born again believers are the sons of God. If you are in Christ Jesus, you are called a “son of God.” Meaning a child of God, who has the Holy Spirit living inside them, to be taught directly by God Himself. And that is where we are at today. We are to be taught by the HOLY SPIRIT, GOD, not by any man, including our own understanding of things.
And remember, even Bob George said to check things out to see if they were so, for he said he could be teaching error. And as a reminder, he did repent (change his mind) on teaching satan’s lie of ongoing forgiveness, and told us that he had come to the knowledge of TRUTH in that area of scripture, that it is FINISHED. There is no more forgiveness being handed out by God today. People don’t get their sins forgiven, they are forgiven.
So it is important to understand that we are constantly learning Truth, as the Holy Spirit teaches us ALL Truth. And Truth comes from God. We cannot change the past. We cannot change what we said or did in the past, or the lies of Satan that we past on from one generation to the next, we can only live in the present. When you learn Truth, you share it. That’s what Bob did, he began to share TRUTH. He stopped leaning on his own understanding and focused on the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Now today, we are to focus on ALL TRUTH, for the TRUTH matters in EVERYTHING.
Romans 8:18-21
18 I consider that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us. 19 The creation waits in eager expectation for the revelation of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not by its own will, but because of the One who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.

Does TRUTH matter? You bet it does. ALL TRUTH matters.
…..
And a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, having done what, will I inherit eternal life?”
And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good, except God alone.
~ “Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:12
~ Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; the one believing in Me, even if he should die, he will live. And everyone living and believing in Me shall never die, to the age. Do you believe this?” John 11:25,26

Pray to God:
Do you really want to know the WHOLE Truth of what is going on today?
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7
Lord Jesus, teach me the truth of the world today and give me the wisdom to know the truth and identify the lies of the devil. Thank you God.”

~ “Remember the passage of Scripture, delight yourself in the Lord, and what will he do? Give you the desires of your heart. And so when you get this desire, it says, follow up with it. If you’re delighting yourself in the Lord, follow up with it. But God has a plan for you, and one of his plans is that I’ll cause all things to work together for your good. I can look at that and say that certainly is true. Wouldn’t have thought so when I was going through basic training, I thought I’d really thought I’d lost my mind through basic training, but no, said I’m going to cause this to work together for your good. I didn’t know I’d been called according to His purpose at that time. Wasn’t a Christian for many, many years later, had no idea about what it was to be called according to the purpose for God, but he knew. For those God foreknew, who did he foreknow this? He foreknew that I was going to come to him. Still had a choice. It’s not that God chose you. Didn’t choose you, but I had a choice, but God knew what my choice was going to be Now, guys, that’s what’s called foreknowledge, and we can’t enter into that. I say we have no point of reference at all foreknowledge, except just mentioning the name. If I had five minutes of an ability of foreknowledge, I’d be a millionaire in a stock market. Just five minutes is all I’d need on the stock market, and we’d all be millionaires. We have no point of reference, but we do know that God has that ability. Whatever that ability is, is to see all things before they ever happen down here. I can go there, and that’s as far as I’m going to go with that. I’m not going to try to figure that out any further. Have no point of reference on it, but God knew he that he foreknew, and he said, because of that foreknowledge, He also predestined me to be conformed to the likeness of His Son.” ~ Bob George

Bob George 0:29
But in the meantime, he says that the whole creation has been groaning in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the first fruit of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we await our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope, we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Now who hopes for what he already has, but if we hope for what we do not yet have, then we wait for it patiently. What don’t we have yet? Eternal life, the eternal, the ultimate, eternal life, where we will be absent from the body and present with the Lord. It’s a dilemma. Paul was in a dilemma in his latter days where he said, I’m in a dilemma. I don’t know which one I want for me to live is Christ. For me to die is gain. I don’t know whether I want to stay here or whether I want to go be with Jesus. Quite frankly, I’d rather go be with Jesus, but if God wants me here, I’ll be here. But it becomes a dilemma, and later on in life, a lot of times your body gets down to the point where it doesn’t function the way it is supposed to function, and you can’t get around the way you used to. Amy’s sisters in that situation in her 80s, cannot get around the way she did, and she’s in a lot of pain and all that type of thing. She wants to go be at the Lord. I remember my mother in her latter days with Parkinson’s disease and unable to speak and withered away down from this absolutely gorgeous woman down to somebody she wouldn’t even recognize. And when I would go to see her down in Austin, I would leave the nursing home and sit in that car and cry like a baby as I thought of how mom had just disintegrated in front of her eyes. I used to pray, Lord, please take her home. Take her home to be with you. And when he did, Mom was absent from the body and present with the Lord. Never to suffer again, never to go through the pains and trials and tribulation again. She’s now free. So when you realize that’s true, you say, well, then anything I go through is just temporary.
And so it says, In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness, we don’t even know what to pray for. How many times have you been in a situation where the stress was such you didn’t even know what to ask God for? How many have you ever been in a situation like that? He says, Don’t worry about it. God will pray for you. So again, there’s an out. There’s times I don’t even know what to ask God for, but that’s okay, God, you know what I need before I ever ask and I can depend on God for that. So we don’t know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit intercedes for us. It says with groans that words cannot express, and He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will.
And then we come to verse 28 a beautiful passage of scripture. There’s, again, an attitude. Do you have an attitude that regardless of what happens to you, God will cause it to work together for good? You see, my friends, God doesn’t make good out of bad. He doesn’t make bad good, but he said, I’ll cause it to work together for your good. And that’s a promise that we have, that whatever you’re going through in life, or whatever trial or tribulation that you’re going through in life, God said, if you will trust me, I will work it together for your good. I’ll show you the good connected with that.
I think many times, guys the decisions that we make, and this was when I was getting in college, and when I graduated from from Indiana University. I was in ROTC, when I was there and was getting ready to graduate where I would have gone into ROTC as a second lieutenant, and there was something inside of me that was saying, Bob, enough is enough. I had grown up in a little town in Indiana. My dad was a well known attorney. We lived well. Certainly didn’t live in poverty in any way, shape or form. We were one of the probably wealthier families in that little town. We always had things that we needed and I always were hanging around with all the nice kids. I went to school and to Indiana University. I got in the fraternity and hanging around with all the nice kids and dating all the nice girls and doing all the nice things. And now I was getting ready to go in the army and hang around with the nice officers and with all the nice people. And something inside of me was saying, it’s time for you to crawl on your belly. You don’t need to go in as an officer, go in as a private, go in with just the ordinary folk. Voice, and go in and get to know people and crawl on your belly with the rest of them. And I gave up that commission, and I got drafted, and I went into the Army, and I crawled on my belly, and I learned to shoot a damn one, and I learned to do all the things that you do as a military guy, just as a private, just a, not even a, not even a PFC, just a private, could have been an officer. There was something inside of me saying, Get out there and crawl on your belly.
Well, I want to tell you then after that they were going to send us overseas. I could have gone to Korea. I could have gone to Germany. As it happened, PFC crawl on my belly got sent to Germany. In Germany, I met someone, the name’s Amy, who’s been my wife for 50 years. I’d never met her. I’d have gone in as an officer. Never would have been there. I’d been someplace in the United States, wouldn’t I? Never would have met her. Why was that thing? I didn’t even know the Lord from a spook back then, but you think the Lord’s still leading you? Why was the Lord leading me to give up my commission and go in as a private? Because he knew that there was a little girl over there waiting on me. She didn’t know it, but I did when I saw her. But we wouldn’t have been married today had it not been for that decision. That decision is what the reason, one of the reasons why today we’ve been married for 50 years. Did that decision make any sense? All of my fraternity brothers thought I was nuts. Bob, you’re crazy. You’re giving up a commission to get drafted. You’re nuts. Said, yeah, probably am, but that’s what’s in my heart. And guys, we can trust things like that. That doesn’t happen to all people. I’m not saying it should happen. It just happened for me that God had a plan for my life. There’s a plan. God has a plan for each and every one of us. We don’t know what it is, but we do know what. We need to plug into it, and we need to find out what it is. And many times it’s having a decision like that doesn’t make an ounce of sense, but yet your heart is saying, do it?
Remember the passage of Scripture, delight yourself in the Lord, and what will he do? Have no point of reference on it, but God knew he that he foreknew, and he said, because of that foreknowledge, He also predestined me to be conformed to the likeness of His Son.
Now guys, we’re talking about that on individuals, but the context of this passage is around HEBREWS and Gentiles. From God’s vantage point, there’s only three types of people in the world, the HEBREW, the Gentile and what’s called the ekklesia, or the church, the called out ones. Now, what is the Ekklesia? Or what is God’s church? I’m not talking about this one here or any other denominational thing sitting on the corner of walk and don’t walk. Those aren’t churches or buildings. I’m. talking about what God’s Church is, is made up of people, both out of the HEBREW background and out of the Gentile background. And if you’re not HEBREW background, you’re Gentile, just two categories, as far as God is concerned, HEBREW and Gentile. And out of that, you have come to know Christ is your personal Lord and Savior, and you’ve done so by faith. You haven’t done so by works. No man can ever work himself into heaven or work himself into becoming a child of God any more than you could work yourself into becoming your own child, a child of mom and dad. You didn’t everything do with that that was all them, not you. You just happened to come along. That’s God’s business. But when you’re born again, whether you’re out of a HEBREW background or a Gentile background, you’re a part of what’s called the ecclesia, or the called out ones, both made up of HEBREW and Gentile, slave and free, black and white makes no difference. People who in their hearts have seen a need for salvation, they’ve seen an emptiness. As Pascal said, there’s a God shaped vacuum in the heart of every man that can only be filled by God through his Son, Jesus Christ, thou hast made us for thyself, O God, and our hearts are restless till they find their rest in thee. There’s a restlessness there. There’s an emptiness there. Any person sitting in this room or in the sound of my voice today that’s not in Christ. There’s an emptiness in your life. That’s why you’re seeking something. What you’re seeking is God, but you don’t know it. And that’s why we go out and seek everything under the sun trying to get that vacuum filled. I sought success in business, more business, all that type of thing didn’t work. Could make money, but you couldn’t be fulfilled. Until I came to Christ I was never fulfilled. Successful in business, not fulfilled.

And so you have HEBREW and Gentile, and then the ecclesia, those are born again, people made up of both the HEBREW and the Gentile. Now in the early formation of salvation, the Lord Jesus Christ grew up in what we know today as Israel, and his ministry was to the HEBREW people. He went first of all to the HEBREW. It said salvation was first to the HEBREW and then to the Gentile. So he went to the HEBRW with this announcement that I am the Son of God, that I am God in the flesh. And it said to as many as received Him, to them, he gave the right to become a child of God. He came into his own, but he said his own received Him not, but to all who did receive him, he gave the right to become a child of God. So even though he came into his own people, they rejected Him and do so to this day, you see, it’s interesting to me, with the HEBREW people, they’re rejecting one of their own. But you see, because the gospel ultimately, then went to the Gentile world as well as to the HEBREW world, but went to the Gentile world, and we Gentiles grabbed a hold of it. And so it’s kind of become, to the HEBREW mind, a Gentile religion. But Jesus won the Gentile. Jesus was a HEBREW, and the HEBREW people are rejecting their own person, their own kind, their own Messiah. I have, I have grabbed a hold of the HEBREW Messiah. Jesus is a HEBREW, and he’s my Lord and Savior. I’m a Gentile. He’s a HEBREW, and the HEBREWS have rejected Him, not all, thank God, but just a vast majority. And so what it’s saying here in this passage, whom God foreknew was the Gentiles now to the HEBREW. My friends, the idea that a Gentile could come to their God, because if you had asked a HEBREW, well, who is your God? He’d say he’s the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And the idea that a Gentile could come to my god was unthinkable. No way, not these heathenistic Gentiles. We realize probably the vast majority of people in this room are Gentiles by birth. And what is our background and heritage? Heathenistic Idol worshiping, prostitution, everything under the sun. That’s our inheritance, great inheritance. And so the idea that we heathenistic Gentiles could come to their god was unthinkable in Samaria. You know that right next to where the where the Jews were down in Jerusalem, in that area, or in Galilee, if they were going to make a trip from Galilee to Jerusalem, the quickest way was through Samaria. They didn’t go through Samaria. They went way out of their way to bypass Samaria because they didn’t want to be associated with people who were half breeds, half HEBREW and half gentile or Gentile. Didn’t want to be associated with them. It was against their law to have them into your home, to have a Gentile to come into your home that was against their HEBREW law. So we were heathens. We were called dogs. Remember when Jesus talked we had talked about the crumbs that story said, feed to the dogs. That was us Gentiles. And so that’s who Jesus went to. Was to the HEBREW, now to the Gentile when all of a sudden, after the New Covenant was ushered in, first to Israel, then to the Gentile world. And all of a sudden, the Gentiles started coming to Christ, who had to verify that it was real, James or John, and ultimately, Paul would go or but basically, the early apostles would go and confirm the fact that that Gentile had come to Christ the same way they had unthinkable. First Gentile convert, as far as we know, was Cornelius, about 18 years after Jesus Christ was raised to the dead. And so the early church was for the first 18 years, was all HEBREW, but then we Gentiles started coming in, and so this is what Paul is writing. Because as people have a tendency to do, to say, well, we’re the we’re the real chosen people, and we really know what’s we really know what’s going on here. And these Gentiles are up there acting like they know what’s going on, but we’re really the final authority. So there was a rift.
And so what Paul is writing here is those he foreknew, who’s the Gentile world, He also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son, not just you HEBREWS who have come to Christ, but the Gentiles as well. He predestined that all of us would be conformed to the image of Christ and might be the first born from among many brothers and those He predestined the Gentiles he also called. In other words, He predestined the HEBREW, but He also predestined the Gentiles and those he called the HEBREW and now the Gentile, he also justified. Those he justified and he also glorified. Who’s the also the Gentiles, the HEBREW and the Gentile. Well, what shall we say, then, in response to this, if God is for us, who can be against us, He who did not spare His own Son, but gave him up for us all, how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring a charge against those who God has chosen? In other words, who’s going to bring a charge against the Gentiles? Who’s going to bring a charge against the HEBREWs? Is it God who justifies who is it that condemns Jesus, Christ, who died more than that, who was raised to life is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us? So Who shall separate us from the love of God? Whether you’re a HEBREW or a Gentile is irrelevant. Are you in Christ, Who shall separate you from the love of God? Shall trouble? How many of you had trouble? Did it separate you from the love of God? How many of you ever had hardships? Did it separate you from the love of God? No. How about persecution? Any of you ever gone through persecution? Did it separate you from the love of God? No, it separated you from the love of people, but not God. How about famine or nakedness or danger or sword? He said, No, for your sake, we face death all day long and are considered as sheep to be slaughtered. But know in all of these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I’m convinced. And guys, there’s there’s the key. Are you convinced? You see, there’s a world of difference between saying I know something and saying that I am convinced of something to really know what you know, what you know. I’m convinced of something that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present or the future nor any powers, neither height nor depth or anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ, Jesus, our Lord. How many of you are convinced of that?
You see, folks, until we become convinced of these things, you’ll run into a situation there and you begin to doubt the love of God. How could God allow this to happen? And that question comes up a lot. How did God allow this to happen? How did God allow Hitler to have the camps where he annihilated the J@@ish people? How did he allow that? Do you know how he allowed that. He allowed that because when He created man, He had a choice. I can either make a man a robot, or I can give him a free will so that he can choose right from wrong or good from evil, or choose to allow me to tell him what is right and wrong and good from evil, but he gave us a choice, didn’t he? What? What is unique about us as people? We have a will. We have a choice. We can choose God, or we can choose to turn from God, or we can choose, as I did for 36 years, to ignore him. But I had a choice. Hitler had a choice. Hitler did not have to be a killer of millions. He could have been a preacher. He could have been something else. He chose the route that he went, and he chose to be an annihilator of the J@@ish people. Now, what would God’s role in this be? We’d say, How could God allow this? Well, what would be his only choice? What would be his only function? If he didn’t allow that, what would he do? What would he have to do? Well, he could kill Hitler, but then there’d just be someone else coming up. The issue is that he’s saying, No, I gave man a choice, and man, you’re going to see the results of your choices down through history. You’re going to see that, and you’re going to hear the phones, and you’re going to do all those things.
We have to understand the truth of that, guys, that God could stop it, but if he did, he’s now destroyed what he came to give man free will, because if I stop there, then I got to stop this, and I got to stop this, and I got to stop this. And what he said, No, going to let it run its course. Going to let it run its course. And one of these days, every person is going to look on the one whom they pierced. And in that day, every knee is going to bow, and every tongue is going to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, and you’re going to see the error of your ways, and you’re going to come to Jesus, but that’s in the future. In the meantime, we all have a choice, and so that’s why we’re more than conquerors. But Can God influence our choices? Absolutely and influence your choices. That’s what he wants to do. He says, I’ve given you my word. I’ve given you what truth is, so that you can make proper choices. We don’t have to make bad choices. We choose to make them. You can choose to go out and to paralyze your life with drugs and alcohol. It’s interesting to me how we look at the lives of celebrities, look at the lives of these kids, and you see them in Hollywood. I lived out there, and I saw this many times, of people. Oh, I’m out here to be a movie star. I’m just dying to be a movie star. And then some of them have the unfortunate experience of becoming one, and they found out what they’ve been aiming for is as empty as a pork barrel. Go Home Alone. Marilyn Monroe, probably the most popular of all actresses, died either a suicide or a murder we don’t know alone. Alone. You see these kids today that have achieved all kinds of fame or temporary notoriety, and what do they do with their money? Bernard. Up on drugs, alcohol, loose women, in other words, use your money to destroy yourself. And so there’s a few that don’t I think, in my early days, or days before I became a Christian, I was in Las Vegas one time, and Amy and I were sitting in a restaurant, and Tennessee Ernie came in. You remember him? Tennessee Ernie Ford. Man, I looked at that guy’s face. I said, there’s something about that guy. He was clean, had clear eyes. He’s a Christian. I didn’t know what a Christian was, but I knew there’s something with that. There’s something with him that’s different. He wasn’t blowing it. He wouldn’t spend all his money on drugs and alcohol and all that type of thing, still a star. So it’s a choice. And so my friends, we’ve got choices in life. And God says, if you’ll follow me and you’ll live according to what I have instructed you to do, you will live a very good life. And I believe that with all my heart, a person who decides to follow the Lord will absolutely eliminate probably 90% of the problems that most people go through. And so he said, those are our choices.
And so guys, as we read through these scriptures, don’t read them just with an idea of getting to know what it says, but get the idea. What is this saying to me? What does these words mean to me? How are they trying to affect my attitude so that my attitude conforms with the attitude of Christ? Jesus. Don’t be conformed to the world, but transformed by the renewing of your emotions. Is that? What it says, By the renewing of your what? Your mind, as a mind thinks so, is he. Guard your mind, folks, guard it. The enemy is out there, bombarding you with error, bombarding you with things that are nothing but a lie. Get into the Word and learn what truth is and counteract those lies with the truth of God and His Word. Believe it, as he says, and be happy.

Stand on the firmness of truth. Don’t keep going back and forth. Thank Him that the forgiveness issue is settled.
Let’s pray together:
- Lord Jesus,
- I thank you for taking away my sins on the cross,
- never ever to see them again.
- Having done that, I now thank you for giving me eternal life,
- through your resurrection.
- I now receive that life.
- And I am going stand in the fact that I am a child of the living God.
- In Jesus Holy name I pray.
- Amen
All believers are now brothers and sisters in Christ.
John 3:3
3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
