Growing in Grace and The Knowledge of Jesus Christ

~ “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.” 2 Peter 3:18

~ The message of Truth is seldom taught today. Every Christian denomination is teaching the lies of Satan left and right, and it doesn’t matter which one you name, they are all teaching the lie of ongoing forgiveness by God for example. And that is the very heart of the gospel message. How can we trust anything a pastor says if they are not preaching the True gospel in the first place? You have people thinking they are worshipping God based on how high they raise their arms up, or how wonderful they sing, or how much they pray, or what special words they say, or what day of the week they meet, or being baptized by water, or going to the confession booth, or saying their 1 John 1:9s or how much they give, the list is endless. They haven’t a clue what salvation is and are NOT growing in the knowledge of Jesus. Sure they may think they are, but when it comes right down to it, they are being taught the lies of satan. And when you quiz a person about Truth, they will beat around the bush. They will place more emphasis on what they are doing, rather than the Truth of the word of God.

The early church met in homes. They met together in small fellowship groups. They studied the word of God together. Yet today, people have been brainwashed into believing that they have to go to an assembly that teaches satan’s lies in order to be worshipping God. That is the furthermost thing from TRUTH. Worshipping God is when you make your body available to Him to be used by Him to share TRUTH. No one goes to “church” today, for the body of true believers is the church of God and He is the head. Most of those places we call “churches” today are nothing but places that teach the lies of satan and doctrines of demons. And most people never think about what is taught nor do they compare it to the word of God. God has given us brains to use, and therefore He wants us to use them. Come let us reason together is key for understanding and growing in the Grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Focus on TRUTH. Don’t trust the teaching of any Man today, but in everything take it to the Holy Spirit and the word of God in prayer and ask for wisdom and understanding and He will give it with great abundance without finding fault.

“Not if they’re not, if they’re depending on emotions, they’re not. Interestingly enough, what I think is interesting is, in those first seven churches that is mentioned in the Book of Revelation, the word that’s translated angel is also can and should be translated messenger. When you stop to think about this, and again, I think we all need to stop and think occasionally it won’t hurt us, but it says to the angel of the church of Laodicea. Now, I personally don’t know any angels of the church of Laodicea, or an angel of the church of Dallas or or anything else. I know messengers of the Church of those places. But as far as an angel, I don’t know what they’re talking about there, especially when it goes ahead to say, these are the words of the Amen, the faithful and the true witness the ruler of God’s creation. I know your deeds now he’s talking to the angel, the angel’s deeds, that you’re neither hot nor cold. I don’t believe so. And when I do know is that this, these are these letters are addressed to the leaders of these different churches. I, quite frankly, can go through with every one of those seven and put a modern day denomination to every one of them that fits them to the T denominations that are neither hot nor cold. They mention Jesus, but there’s no reality to them at all. They’re rich. Well, why are they rich? Well, somebody’s been teaching them that godliness is a means to financial gain, which the Bible says those people are of perverted mind, right? And so to me, the leader. Of the leaders of denominations are the ones that these, the that these letters are being addressed to. And I know denominations. As far as I’m concerned, I’m sure God has written Ichabod across them. He said, You know, it’s not either hot or cold. You’re just nothing. You know, I saw denominational sign one time on the billboard out front. It said, come in. You all come on Sunday, you’ll feel comfortable. We don’t believe in anything. And so, and you say, Well, that’s pretty sad. I said, yeah, no, it’s sad, but true. So you have, you have all kinds of when you get down to the point where you start making bishops out of openly homosexual alcoholics, your denomination is in trouble, and I think God writes Ichabod across it and says, I don’t want anything to do with you. Now that doesn’t mean that God doesn’t have anything to do with people sitting in a pew that are born again, that maybe just are there because of tradition, which they shouldn’t be. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to spew everybody out of their mouth, but I’m going to spew the leadership out. Exactly. And that’s why, when I look at that and know that these books are written to leaders of churches like denominations, it’s not an angel, it’s a messenger, and I believe the messenger is the leadership. When in the Bible, when it talks about the Judaeans turning Jesus in, they were talking about the Judaeans running around on the street, they were talking about the leadership. And when you talk about Americans, you’re talking about the political leadership. That’s That’s how people perceive all of us, somebody in Asia, doesn’t have a reason to hate you and me, but they may hate the president, whoever that might be, and so then the whole group is is in there. So I believe that’s what this, this book of Revelation, is about, I think it’s talking to the leaders, to the messengers that have been put in responsibility, either by God or man, who have fallen totally short of the calling of God.” ~ Bob George
