Salvation is Eternal Life in Jesus Christ

The sins of the whole world have been forgiven, but that is not salvation. Salvation is eternal life, it is not getting one’s sins forgiven. Jesus took away the sins of the whole world on the cross. Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins. Today, people are still camping on the forgiveness issue, and believing the lie of Satan, that Jesus didn’t die for the sins of the whole world.

1 John 2:22
22 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

She wanted to share her appreciation with Bob in regards to a recent radio program in dealing with people with cancers and the fears that doctors are instilling into their patients. It’s also important to remember that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and further to remember that we are all going to be absent from the body and present with the Lord for all those in Christ Jesus. Listen in as Bob and Ann discuss what is going on with doctors today. Nothing has changed, and if anything things have gotten worse. We need to be prepared for the crises that are sure to come into our lives, and it is vitally important that we understand who we are in Christ Jesus and the word of God. So many times, people are not prepared for crisis, because they do not even know the word of God.

Say Thank You to God for What He Has Done For You

A number of callers called in on today’s program dealing with some heart felt issues of life.

The first caller, Hans called from Eugene, Oregon. He was dealing with cancer related issues and wanted to know what the word of God had to say on certain treatments that may affect a person’s thinking. Bob gives some insights into this with him and also talks about some people that Bob knew that were friends of his that were dealing with similar things themselves. Listen in as Bob shares these things with Hans. Bob also mentioned how doctors try to scare people today and Bob says that he is not scared and tells doctors right to their face in regards to that. It is hard to get an honest answer from doctors today.

The second caller, Jesse called from Atlanta, Georgia. He had a question into sharing with his mentally challenged son about Jesus. Bob mentions that we are to share the gospel with them the same way we share with anyone else. The Mystery of the Fullness of the Gospel Revealed

The Apostle Paul reveals the mystery of the fullness of the Gospel to us in the word of God. God made it known to Paul, the fullness of the Gospel message, “Christ in You, the Hope of Glory.” He was given a commission directly by God, to pass this mystery onto the church down through the ages. It was for our sake, that Paul did what he did and the suffering he himself faced.

As a lost person, a person tries in the energy of their flesh to do the right things, and then a person realizes they can not be good enough or loving enough. They come to the end of self sufficiency, and come to know and accept Jesus for their salvation, Yet, so many times, after people come to Christ, they then try to do things in the energy of their own flesh. God lets us have a try at it. And then we also realize we still can not live in the energy of our flesh. Understanding the Fullness of the Gospel

When learning about new things, we tend to learn it better and retain what we have learned when we hear something and see something. Also, when we say it out loud or teach others what we have learned, it reinforces it in our own mind of the truths being taught to us. Jesus even makes mention of this learning experience in the word of God.

For us today, learning the fullness of the Gospel message can be helped along by both hearing the word of God and seeing the word of God and saying the word of God out loud for ourselves too. This is where the Closer Look Bible Studies are so beneficial in teaching us the fullness of the gospel message. We hear it, we read it, we say it, and then we write it down too.
