Bob shares from Luke 2, reviewing the various appearances of angels, announcing events surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ. Then we also have revelation by the Holy Spirit through an old man name Simeon and a widow named Anna, both righteous in the sight of God, often in the temple in worship and prayer. Simeon prophesises that salvation is even for the Gentiles. The Gentiles can be saved the same way as the Jew, by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Simeon also says Jesus will cause the rising and falling of many and a sword will pierce your own soul too. Anna prophesises concerning this child to be for the redemption of Israel.
