~ Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” He redeemed us in order that the blessing promised to Abraham would come to the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. Galatians 3:13,14

~ In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace that He lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. Ephesians 1:7,8

We Have: we have ἔχομεν (echomen) Verb – Present Indicative Active – 1st Person Plural Strong’s 2192: To have, hold, possess. Including an alternate form scheo skheh’-o; a primary verb; to hold.

Forgiveness and redemption from God is not something anyone gets, it’s something they possess when they are in Christ Jesus. They know they have it, they possess it, they are holding on to it. That’s what sets a true born again Christian apart. ~ Once a person begins to grab a hold of who we are in Christ Jesus, a person’s whole world of understanding begins to change, not only about themselves, but also about God too. The apostle Paul explained to the saints in Ephesus who they are in Christ Jesus. “Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints being in Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 1:1,2 And like the Ephesians, it’s so important that we also understand who we are in Christ Jesus. Because Satan doesn’t want you to know and understand how holy you truly are in Christ Jesus. He would much rather continue teaching you that you are a sinner, instead of a SAINT. Pay attention to the details in the word of God. No where in the Word of God is a believer in Christ Jesus ever called a sinner AFTER they have become a Holy set apart saint by God Himself. Truth tellers will cause division, just as Jesus did. Today, just as in Ephesus, there is idol worship going on big time. Oh, it might not look like the temple of Artemis or Diana, but nevertheless it is idol worship. People bow down to their idols on Tell-a-Vision for example. If you talk in a negative way about their favorite politician, or their favorite actor they become full of rage. That’s how you know someone has an idol. If you show someone the Truth of what is going on today, they will ignore it and don’t want to cause a commotion in their own mind. Cognitive dissonance kicks in, and they run and hide and want to continue on believing the lies, so as to not upset the apple cart. The apostle Paul was having none of that. He was telling the Truth to those in Ephesus, to the point that the crowd was so upset with rage, they didn’t even know why they were upset. ~ “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Therefore take up the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground, and having done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness arrayed, and with your feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. ~ Today, we are learning more about the family unit as it pertains to those who are in Christ Jesus as well as some good advice for others and their children. Children are to obey parents and for parents, especially fathers to train a child properly in the LORD. Now most parents are trying to do the right thing, though that is getting more and more difficult as time goes on. Because what we see in the world is not at ALL what the instructions of God are for us. ~ “The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise as some understand slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9
~ Today, we have large groups of people that believe God picks winners and losers in spite of what the Word of God says. God is not wanting anyone to perish, and come to repentance (a change of mind). How can a person believe that the offer of salvation is made to everyone, yet it’s not really made to everyone, and only to those God picks? The logic doesn’t add up. God would have to be a liar to offer salvation to everyone, but not really for everyone. And we know God is NOT a liar. So what is the story about predestination and election in the word of God? Well, God is talking about groups of people elected to be part of His One body, through faith in Him. And it doesn’t matter the color of your skin, or whether you are a HEBREW or a Gentile, or slave of free, everyone in Christ is elected to be a child of God, the True church, not a building, not a religion, not a label of anything, but one Spirit and one Body, and Jesus is the head.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
