Your Sins Have Already Been Forgiven at the Cross. It is Finished!

“When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, ‘It is finished,’ and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit” John 19:30

~ How many times do we hear the lies, come to Jesus to get your sins forgiven? Walk down the aisle to get your sins forgiven. Go to the confession booth to get your sins forgiven. 1 John 1:9 to get your sins forgiven. Say the Lord’s prayer to get your sins forgiven? On and on it goes and hardly anyone says STOP it, It is Finished! People are much too comfortable in making their flesh feel good. They will say things like, it makes me feel good to ask for forgiveness by God. They in essence are walking around in unbelief and being a controlled opposition spokesperson for Satan, selling the lies for Satan himself. People Would Rather Believe Lies Than Listen to Truth From The Spirit of God

~ But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14

~ When a person abides in the Holy Spirit of God, if the Holy Spirit lives in them, they will be shown Truth. However, the flesh still tends to get in the way with even born again believers in Christ Jesus. Reminder, we were born into a world filled with lies.

As believers, we have given lip service to verses that show Satan has controlled the kingdoms of this world including the U.S. Most don’t have a clue of how deep the deception is, because we were born into it. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you ALL truth, and He said he would. Lean not on your own understanding of ALL things (of what you have been taught). For what we have been taught in this world is a lie and has been used as controlled opposition by Satan down through the ages. Jesus is The Truth Setting You Free

The Enemy of Truth (Jesus) Are The Things of This World Controlled by Satan’s Lies

~ As he spake these words, many believed on him. Then said Jesus to those Judaeans [Ἰουδαίους (Ioudaious)] which believed on him, “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:30-32

~ Many times, when Jesus spoke to groups of people, there were both those that believed on Him and those that did not believe on Him. We see this happening right here in the word of God. Between John 8:30-32 and John 8:33. We can see the later group’s response that did NOT believe on Jesus in John 8:33. Jesus has many warnings for that group of people that carries over till today. It takes the Holy Spirit of God to understand the meaning and significance of what is being said by Jesus and also to understand those that did not place faith on him as to their questions they were asking. Jesus Said to the Father Forgive Them

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P42 (05-10-23)

Jesus Said, “Father Forgive Them They Don’t Know What They Are Doing.”

~ Jesus spoke to the Father all the time. And we know that everything He did was the Father telling him to do it, and everything He said was the Father telling Him to say it. So when we see that Jesus spoke to the Father from the cross and said to “forgive them,” you can rest assured that God did indeed forgive them at the cross. For Jesus forgave (past tense) the sins of the whole world at the cross.

~ Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.” Luke 23:34

~ Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed. Jesus is The Righteousness of God - Have Faith in Him

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P41 (05-09-23)

Only by Faith in Christ Jesus Can We Be In The Righteousness of God

~ “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we a have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.” Romans 5:1,2

~ We cannot stand in our own righteousness before God, because we don’t have any righteousness of our own. We must go into the presence of God in His righteousness. For Jesus is our righteousness to ALL who are in Christ Jesus.

~ “For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” Romans 1:17

~ “There’s not a person in this room or a person within the sound of my voice that could walk into the presence of God today in your own righteousness. If you think you can, you’re deceived out of your socks. No Amount of Works You do Will Save You. Only Christ Jesus Can Save You!

~ “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.” Galatians 2:16

~ Many many people are thinking that their fleshly works are somehow pleasing to God. But God says our works are as filthy rags. And as a reminder, God does NOT grade on a curve. And these people that think they are doing good works through their flesh, don’t have any idea that they are dead and in need of Life. That Life is only found in the person of Christ Jesus himself.

~ “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
