Faith is a Responder to the Grace of God

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P709 (02-17-22)

Is Tithing for Today? Forgiveness And God is The Initiator

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32

Bob: We’re gonna go to Pebble Beach, California, Manom you’re on the air.

Manom: Hi. My question is my husband and I come from different backgrounds, but I’m Catholic my husband’s Protestant and we’ve tried very hard to lead a Christian, you know, household. With a husband head of the household and we raise our children to go to Sunday school and we both had the benefit of growing up in households that had that kind of structure. But now that we’re older and our parents are getting older in their 70s and 60s, we go back home and we find our parents aren’t living certain Christian principles and it’s causing a lot of conflict, like, his parents have changed religion and maybe come to me, less Christian, and I’m, we have a lot of conflicts with them and I want To lead a Christian lifestyle, but I feel like it’s a lie when we go home for family visits and it’s filled with tension.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

We Were Reconciled to God

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Finality of The Cross P25 (10-04-21)

Learn to Walk in Freedom in That Sabbath Rest in the New Covenant of Grace

When a person does not know the full gospel, has been taught erroneous teaching of in and out of fellowship, that you can lose salvation or lose fellowship, and does not understand the New Covenant He is under today, he is unable to rest in the fact that God has not only done it all, has taken away your sins from the eyes of God never to see them again, but is always alive, living in you, forever interceding for you.

As you ponder over these scriptures, Romans 5:10, Hebrews 9:22-28, Hebrews 10:9-18, Hebrews 4:1-11, Hebrews 7:23-25, and Hebrews 3:18-19, what conclusions can be drawn?

Romans 5:10
10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

When you think about Romans 5:10, ask yourself, “When were you reconciled?”, “When did Jesus die?”, “Did His death save you or were you saved by His life?” So, Jesus died for you before you were even born, and when you were born, you were at enmity with God due to your fallen sin nature in Adam.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus Wants to Indwell in You

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P656 (07-30-21)

Salvation: Totality of the Cross, Being Made Complete in Christ and Growing in Grace

As people are growing in grace, they have questions. Oftentimes, they read passages of scriptures like Hebrews 6:4-6, that they just do not understand it yet. So they call up on a program such as this, or if they are around like-minded believers, where they are free to ask questions in order to grow in grace, they get guidance from mature believers, who rightly divide the word of truth. Many times people have not grabbed a hold of truth because there is something missing in their understanding. Of course, if you just got saved yesterday, you are still on the milk of the word, and that is where you are at. You have not had much time in the word of God yet. So it is helpful to have pastor-teachers that teach truth, help out in our understanding.

Many times people grow up in the church world and they may have memorized all kinds of scriptures, but it as if the scriptures are all put in a basket, and as they pull out scriptures, they do not seem to connect or relate to one another.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Life is in Jesus Christ

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P460 (8-01-19)

All of us are in continual need of replacing error with truth in our lives, and that will be true until the day we die. The real question is, “Do we want to get well?” That is why it is so good to hear people call in with their questions, for this is an avenue in which the body of Christ can be built up and grow. Others call to receive advice to deal with circumstances in their life that they do not know how to resolve. That is why we are placed in the body of Christ, to help and encourage one another. Other callers simply call to get clarification on a passage of scripture that they are struggling to understand its meaning. In the process of sharing truth with one another, we learn more about God’s love for us.

Francisco called on behalf of a friend of his, that although he was delivered from a lot of things, he said he could not stop smoking cigarettes. He also said that because of this he could not pray or study the word. So the man’s more critical issue is that he is not functioning under grace but under law.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Vine and Branches

Classic Christianity Radio (03-06-19) – Classic Christianity Part 3

Bob George explains how we have the need for meaning and purpose in our life. We look to find fulfillment in life through things in this world that we think satisfy, but then find ourselves dependent or controlled by such things, and find that we are never completely satisfied. We ultimately found ourselves dependent on people or things for needs that can only be met through Jesus Christ.

Bob George explains our need of unconditional love and acceptance. We want others to love us. If you looked at 1 Corinthians 13, and demanded your spouse to fulfill all those characteristics listed there, what kind of unrealistic expectations are you putting on your spouse? Yet, we try to control others to ensure our needs are met and are woefully disappointed. We have unmet expectations, and in so doing we attempt to control other people to ensure our needs are met. You cannot get other people to produce these characteristics. We try to get that need of unconditional love and acceptance met by others but that is a spiritual need that can only be met by Jesus Christ.

Bob George explains how we cannot even live the Christian life because we never could.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
