Classic Christianity – Move on to Maturity – 5-27-26

~ What you learn here, is meant to be used out there. Don’t just be hearers of the Word of God, but be doers of the Word. When we say doers of the Word, that is allowing the Holy Spirit to abide in you, and setting the record straight between the Old and the New Covenants with people and living by Faith in the New Covenant today. That is using the Old Covenant Law as the Law was meant to be used, to lead a person to Christ Jesus. The Law of the Spirit of Life set us free from the Law of sin and death. Most in the lost world have no idea of what we are even talking about right here and now. That completely goes over their heads, because most in the religous world of “Christianity” think they are saved, when they have no clue what salvation is. They still live as if they think salvation is “getting” sins forgiven on an ongoing basis. So learn how to listen to the Spirit of God in you, and speak TRUTH when the Spirit would have you speak. Classic Christianity – That Ugly Flesh – Part 2 – 5-26-26

~ There are so many people today that are pretend lawkeepers, and they are proud of it too. They even think that because the Holy Spirit lives in them, that their own flesh upholds the law. It’s very very strange how people could think that way, when God knows exactly what you are thinking at every moment in time. For our own thoughts betray us. And folks, we are so easily deceived in this period of great deception that is upon the whole world that even Christians strut their flesh as though they are obeying every law that was written in the book of Moses. They think they are living as the Israelites lived. And people will pat each other on the back, and give accolades to each other, saying good job for preaching law obedience. Yet when we look at the love department, it shows that a person is NOT always loving toward others. And if they say they are, they are lying to themselves and others too. Because only Christ Jesus is the perfect Love of God. Classic Christianity – That Ugly Flesh – Part 1 – 5-25-26

~ Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. It is no trouble for me to write the same things to you again, and it is a safeguard for you.

Watch out for those dogs, those workers of evil, those mutilators of the flesh! For it is we who are the circumcision, we who worship by the Spirit of God, who glory in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh— though I myself could have such confidence. Philippians 3:1-4a

~ Here’s where the rubber meets the road. Do we tell it like it is, or do we cover over the TRUTH of the word of God? There are lessons in life that we need to see for ourselves, and that is we are to tell it like it is, especially when the Holy Spirit is clearly instructing you to say what He wants you to say. By the way, dogs still are amongst us today. And it’s more prevelant than most imagine it to be. Classic Christianity – Wise Men Still Seek Him – 5-20-26

~ “And having come into the house, they saw the Child with His mother Mary, and having fallen down, they worshiped Him. And having opened their treasures, they offered to Him gifts: gold and frankincense and myrrh. Matthew 2:11

~ Folks, we have a King today, and His name is Jesus. Shout it from the rooftops. Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords. He is the only one we are to worship. Don’t place anyone else on your idol pedestal. Don’t worship world figures. And folks, it is so easy to get our eyes pulled away from Jesus today. For deception is at every turn. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you the Truth of King Jesus today. Do not lean on your own understanding, but take everything to Him in prayer. If He tells you to do something, do it. If He tells you to say something, say it. If He tells you NOT to do something obey Him. For the wisemen themselves obeyed the Lord, when they were told by God in their dreams of NOT to go back to Herod. ~ “But I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you⁺ soon, that I also may be of good spirit, having known the things concerning you. For I have no one like-minded, who genuinely will care for the things concerning you. For those all seek the things of themselves, not the things of Jesus Christ. But you know his proven worth, that as a child with a father he served with me in the gospel. Therefore indeed I hope to send him immediately, when I shall have seen the things concerning me. And I am persuaded in the Lord that I myself will also come soon.

Now I deemed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow worker and fellow soldier, and your messenger and minister of my need, since he was longing for you all and being deeply distressed because you heard that he was sick. Classic Christianity – Right Now! – Part 1 – 5-18-26

~ “Therefore if you have any encouragement in Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being united in Spirit and purpose.

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.” Phillipians 2:1-4

~ Jesus Himself is our Spirit of Love one to another. We are to encourage each other in Christ Jesus. We are to comfort one another with His Love living in and through us. We are to have fellowship with the same Spirit, for all who are in Christ Jesus. Be like-minded by understanding His Love and forgiveness that was given to you. Extend that Love and forgiveness to others. Know and understand the Truth about the word of God. Share with others. Consider others more important than yourself. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride in self.
