Jesus Said Peace I Leave With You My Peace I Give to You

Classic Christianity – Peace, Purpose, & Promise Part 3 – 8-19-26

~ Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid. John 14:27

For those who are in Christ Jesus, Jesus is our Peace. When the Holy Spirit came and gave us Life, the very moment we exercised faith, the Spirit of Peace came to Live directly inside us. And Jesus said that would happen, when Jesus said He would send the Holy Spirit: “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you.” So now, livig after the cross, the Holy Spirit was indeed sent by the Father to teach us ALL TRUTH and to teach us ALL things. For some, who are in Christ Jesus, they have not asked to be shown the TRUTH of what is really going on in the world today. Shout it From the Rooftops

Classic Christianity – Peace, Purpose, & Promise Part 2 – 8-18-26

~ In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4:10

Many of us have grown up knowing about Jesus, and many of us would say we knew about Jesus from the words of God. But we really didn’t know Him personally, nor did we understand that we could know Him in a very, very personal way. One of the chief ways that satan has hidden this from us is we grew up being taught that God is an angry God, and that we needed to do something to make amends for our bad actions.

We were placed constantly on a guilt trip and a performance spinning wheel by the religion that we grew up in. And this was not by accident, folks; this was designed by satan itself to deceive us into thinking we were not loved by God. And so we had to go out and try to earn God’s love for us. Jesus Saves Both Hebrews and Gentiles

Classic Christianity – Peace, Purpose, & Promise Part 1 – 8-17-26

~ You who are trying to be justified by the law have been severed from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. But by faith we eagerly await through the Spirit the hope of righteousness. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. What matters is faith expressing itself through love. Galatians 5:4-6

There’s only one way to be saved today, and that is Faith in Jesus Himself. It doesn’t matter whether you were born of one lineage or another. God doesn’t treat one better than another when it comes to salvation. God is not a respector of persons. He treats everyone the same. Yet there are people today still thinking as a Hebrew, and thinking they can keep the old covenant law that was nailed to the cross of Calvary. So the point is not to become a Hebrew, but to place faith in Jesus and become a new creation in Christ Jesus. Because the two are made one. There is no more Hebrew and Gentile. There is only the body of Christ Jesus as one.

Law and Grace - Old and New

Classic Christianity – Do or Done – Part 2 – 8-12-26

The apostle Paul always told it like it was. He refused to allow any kind of fake law keeping. For he knew, that a little leaven spoils the whole loaf. In otherwords, if he would have allowed it, and did not write about it, people would automatically assume it was okay to try and keep part of the law. And so when these fake law keepers came into groups of people (local church assemblies) Paul would call them out on it. And he too was telling them that they were falling back under the law, because they had fallen from pure grace. They thought a little law was okay. In the Fellowship Saved Out of the Fellowship Lost

The Kinsman-Redeemer and the Impossibility of “Bouncing” in and out of Fellowship

Among the modern religious circles of the lands about us, a devastating theological error has been systematically codified: the teaching that a born-again believer can bounce “in and out of fellowship” with God. Congregations are conditioned to believe that a horizontal behavioral stumble or sin instantly severs their vertical connection with the Father, plunging them into relational darkness until they drop a verbal “apology coin” into the confession dispenser to buy their way back into His good graces.

This transactional model completely scrambles the legal chronology of the New Covenant. According to Scripture, fellowship is not a revolving door; it is an absolute indicator of your salvation status.

1. Light and Darkness: The Saved vs. Lost Binary

In his first epistle, the Apostle John establishes that there are only two groups of people residing under the Father’s Throne: those who walk in the light and those who walk in darkness.

  • Walking in the Light is Salvation: “If we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.”

Controlling The Tongue

Classic Christianity – A Loving Faith – 8-10-26

~ “Those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the flesh cannot please God.

You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you.” Romans 5:9
