Classic Christianity – Book of John P21 (11-27-18)

Bob George TeachingBob George continues sharing from the book of John about what the life of Jesus Christ is all about. He reiterates some points he spoke yesterday, comparing and contrasting the natural man with the the spiritual man. Bob shares about a strange-sounding teaching, eating flesh and drinking blood, that Jesus spoke. Very strange sounding stuff to the natural man. Bob closes out teaching from John 6 and then continues into John 7, introducing the Jewish feast of tabernacles, Jesus relationship with his physical brothers and sisters, who did not believe in Him. Bob explains what believing in Jesus really means, not an intellectual assent to facts, but really knowing Jesus personally as God in the flesh, whom you can come to know as a person to whom you can communicate with in spiritual understanding. The main point he emphasized was that all people should look to the word of God for truth, and if one has the proper attitude, to want to know God, rather than gain honor for himself, one can be led to come to Christ and receive eternal life.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Classic Christianity – Book of John P20 (11-26-18)

Bob George TeachingAfter a Thanksgiving message last several days, Bob George continues teaching from the book of John. In John 6, many were following Jesus to watch him heal the sick. Jesus later miraculously fed over 5000 people with five loaves and two fish, many more followed him. But why did they follow him? In previous lessons, Bob explained from scriptures that Jesus did none of these of these things on his own initiative. For Jesus purpose was much greater than the miracles. The message of eternal life is the message he came to bring, and there was work he had to complete for eternal life to be offered to men.

John 5:35-38

35 John shone brightly for a while, and you benefited and rejoiced, 36 but I have a greater witness than John. I refer to the miracles I do; these have been assigned me by the Father, and they prove that the Father has sent me. 37 And the Father himself has also testified about me, though not appearing to you personally, or speaking to you directly. 38 But you are not listening to him, for you refuse to believe me—the one sent to you with God’s message.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Classic Christianity – Bob George Thanksgiving p3 (11-23-18)

Bob George TeachingWelcome to Bob George Classic Christianity radio with Bob George, the clear and timeless teaching on the complete forgiveness and unconditional love of Jesus Christ as you learn about God’s amazing love. Bob shares from Romans 5 starting in verse 12. From there he teaches about law and grace, how the law is for the lost to recognize their condition of spiritual death in sin so that they may come to Christ by faith. When someone is born again, a spiritual new birth, then they are no longer under law but under grace. Bob explains what salvation is by first explaining what so many erroneously teach. Salvation is not just that you sinned and need your sins forgiven. No, the lost man is dead spiritually and in need of new life, God’s life. He may seem to you to be a nice guy but if he is lost he is still dead. Bob exposes erroneous thinking or practices; the law as a standard of holiness, the false hope offered in religion in the world today, legalism, the mixing of law and grace, the false notion that someone can be in and out of fellowship with God determined by sin and confession, and the false concept of progressive sanctification, where eventually the believer can eventually stop sinning.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Classic Christianity – Bob George Thanksgiving p2 (11-22-18)

Bob George TeachingWelcome to Bob George Classic Christianity radio with Bob George, the clear and timeless teaching on the complete forgiveness and unconditional love of Jesus Christ as you learn about God’s amazing love. Bob shares from Romans 12:9-21 what love looks like in action. He cites examples of what we tend to do in the flesh as a contrast so we can better understand God’s way of love. This passage shows us God’s righteousness. Bob then shares that instead of looking to the law to manufacture love, which is impossible to do, we should look to the grace given us in Christ Jesus so this love can be produced in us. He shares how one can inquire of the Lord of your need of love and desire to love others so that He can live in and through you. He reminds us of the proper biblical understanding of Romans. Romans is a contrast between law and grace, showing us the purpose of the law, and how misused its purpose, being made it a means of righteousness instead of a means of showing your sinfulness. Then he points people to look more closely at Romans 5, so one can have peace that surpasses understanding, to be justified by faith apart from law, and to be saved by His life; Christ in you, the only hope of glory.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Classic Christianity – Bob George Thanksgiving p1 (11-21-18)

Bob George TeachingWelcome to Bob George Classic Christianity radio with Bob George, the clear and timeless teaching on the complete forgiveness and unconditional love of Jesus Christ as you learn about God’s amazing love. Bob shares from God’s word reminding us of the attitudes of love and thankfulness. He contrasts the world’ peace with God’s peace, lust or attraction with agape love, anxiety with faith, fear with love, self-centered thinking with God-centered thinking, worry with thankfulness, man’s will versus God’s will, weakness with God’s strength, negative thinking with thinking with a proper self image, a dead life replaced with a new life, following Jesus with being led of the indwelling Holy Spirit, fear with love, evil versus good, and worldly thinking with scriptural thinking based on truth. With such teaching, one has a solid foundation on which to be truly thankful. With the Holy Spirit in you, the love of God is shown through you; a sincere love, out of the heart, and not just with words.

Bob shares from Philippians 4:6-7, where one reads about a peace that surpasses understanding.

Classic Christianity – God’s Greatest Gift Part 2 (11-20-18)

Bob George TeachingWelcome to Bob George Classic Christianity radio with Bob George, the clear and timeless teaching on the complete forgiveness and unconditional love of Jesus Christ as you learn about God’s amazing love. Bob continues teaching from Matthew 2 where Herod the madman kills every child under two years old. Bob addresses the question many have asked, “Where was God?” in all this. Bob answers by saying where God always is, on his throne. Bob then further explains God’s choice to create man and angels with free will and contrasted that with what he could have made, robots. But can a robot choose to love? As long as there is free will, there is going to be good and bad. Are we going to let Christ control our lives?

People are looking for peace in the world. There will not be peace in the world until there is peace in the country. There will not be peace in the country until there is peace in the country. There will not be peace in the country until there is peace in the state.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
