Serve One Another in Love ~ Love is Jesus ~ Truth

~ Much of what we do today is skewed based on our misunderstanding of things. For example, the word Love as defined in the word of God is completely misunderstood today, even big time misunderstanding within the body of Christ too. We are told to serve one another in love, by following the way of Love. But here is where it gets important to understand what love is and what it is NOT. First off, we have to understand that Love lives in the true child of God today. We are told in the scriptures that Love is Jesus, and that He lives in every true child of God. That doesn’t mean that Love has a muzzle over their mouth. It doesn’t mean that Love is not a foreteller of truth.

Get Back to The Foundation ~ Jesus

~ Jesus is our very foundation. Jesus is our wisdom (not the wisdom of the world). Jesus is our Truth (not the lies of the world). Jesus is our righteousness (not our own self righteousness). Jesus is our Life (not the world we live in). Jesus is our meaning and purpose to life (not the things of the world). Yet even the very elect forget these key aspects of abiding in Christ Jesus, and go out in the energy of their flesh and think they are doing something for God. We all tend to forget that our flesh can easily be stirred up by Satan. And that is important for each of us to also understand.

But in these recent times, God is waking up the sleeping children of God and is making us aware of many things that are happening in the world today. For knowledge is increasing and in great measure. Follow the Way of Love, Be a TRUTH Teller

~ If a person is in Christ Jesus, Love and TRUTH lives in them. We are to follow the way of love and to eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy, which is TRUTH telling. However, most are NOT TRUTH telling today. And even within the body of Christ, many get angry when they hear the truth in regards to things of the world and the word of God. Most gloss over Truth and instead give lip service to the Word of God. Quite frankly, most can’t handle the Truth, because it upsets them too much to think about the ramifications of Truth. Some will say, “I don’t like that verse in scripture” even though they know what the verse means and says. They want all the sweet smelling verses and none of the warnings from the word of God that expose evil, identify what is going on in the world today and clearly state the consequences of things, even when those warnings come directly from Jesus himself. Understanding the Truth of What Christ has Done When we Celebrate the Lord’s Supper

You may have been to church for decades, not realizing the error you have been taught. Someone asks you, “Do you believe in the atoning blood of Jesus? Bob would respond by saying, “No, I don’t. He did not come to atone for sin. He came to take it away.” Words have meaning, and they have meaning in the context they are used in scripture.

Depending on your religious background, an improper understanding of the meaning of words can hinder you from understanding the truth of what Jesus Christ has done for you. Have you been raised in a church that emphasized the passion of Christ and heard the expression, “Holy Communion”? There is nothing holy about communion, of a wafer that you ingest into your body. In many people’s minds, grace has the concept of something you receive by participating in a sacrament, or from an action of a priest on your behalf, such as sprinkling of what is said to be holy water.

Synopsis

As we resume our study in A Closer Look at Jesus Christ, in Chapter 6: Biblical Prophecies about Jesus Christ, we look at various prophecies of the Old Testament prophets, who lived over 700 years before the birth of Christ, and whose prophetic words were written down for us. These men could not have had such knowledge on their own, but the Holy Spirit of God revealed to them future events in history that would be fulfilled in Jesus Christ. They were told to record these things down for future generations to observe and then later be read through those who were eyewitnesses of these things, who wrote down the actual fulfillment of the event.
