Believers are the Body of Jesus Christ the Church

~ Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in various tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, who apportions them to each one as He determines. 1 Corinthians 12:7-11

He wants us to use our spiritual gifts as He sees fit. And many take that to mean some form of funny talk with speaking in a babbling language that no one has a clue about. Classic Christianity – Gifts For The Church – Part 1 – 7-14-26

~ Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant. You know that when you were pagans, you were led even as to mute idols, being led astray. Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking in the Spirit of God says, “Jesus is accursed,” and no one is able to say, “Jesus is Lord,” except in the Holy Spirit.

Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of services, and the same Lord; and there are varieties of workings, but the same God who is working all things in all. 1 Corinthians 12:1-6

— God wants us to know exactly what our spiritual gifts are and what they are for. They are not for ourselves, but they are gifts for others. That is eye opening when you understand the Truth of this. We are gifts to each other in the body of Christ. We are to be available to be used by God, with our spiritual gifts at His disposal to be used by Him when He wants to use us. Jesus Gave Us New Commands of Belief and Love

Serve One Another in Love ~ Love is Jesus ~ Truth

~ Much of what we do today is skewed based on our misunderstanding of things. For example, the word Love as defined in the word of God is completely misunderstood today, even big time misunderstanding within the body of Christ too. We are told to serve one another in love, by following the way of Love. But here is where it gets important to understand what love is and what it is NOT. First off, we have to understand that Love lives in the true child of God today. We are told in the scriptures that Love is Jesus, and that He lives in every true child of God. That doesn’t mean that Love has a muzzle over their mouth. It doesn’t mean that Love is not a foreteller of truth.

And because of our misunderstanding of love, we let the flesh get in the way of allowing love to flow in and through us. We let our flesh talk to us, because truth seems too harsh a reality sometimes and we are worried what people may think of us. Jesus Sent His Holy Spirit to Teach Truth

Get Back to The Foundation ~ Jesus

~ Jesus is our very foundation. Jesus is our wisdom (not the wisdom of the world). Jesus is our Truth (not the lies of the world). Jesus is our righteousness (not our own self righteousness). Jesus is our Life (not the world we live in). Jesus is our meaning and purpose to life (not the things of the world). Yet even the very elect forget these key aspects of abiding in Christ Jesus, and go out in the energy of their flesh and think they are doing something for God. We all tend to forget that our flesh can easily be stirred up by Satan. And that is important for each of us to also understand.

But in these recent times, God is waking up the sleeping children of God and is making us aware of many things that are happening in the world today. For knowledge is increasing and in great measure. Many are seeing with His eyes. Many are hearing with His ears. He is teaching us all many things. He is always in the process of renewing our minds. Jesus Wants You to be Truth Telling

Classic Christianity – Book of Hebrews P24 (10-23-23)

Follow the Way of Love, Be a TRUTH Teller

~ If a person is in Christ Jesus, Love and TRUTH lives in them. We are to follow the way of love and to eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy, which is TRUTH telling. However, most are NOT TRUTH telling today. And even within the body of Christ, many get angry when they hear the truth in regards to things of the world and the word of God. Most gloss over Truth and instead give lip service to the Word of God. Quite frankly, most can’t handle the Truth, because it upsets them too much to think about the ramifications of Truth. Some will say, “I don’t like that verse in scripture” even though they know what the verse means and says. They want all the sweet smelling verses and none of the warnings from the word of God that expose evil, identify what is going on in the world today and clearly state the consequences of things, even when those warnings come directly from Jesus himself. Jesus is Our Wisdom

Classic Christianity – Book of Hebrews P23 (10-18-23)

Jesus is Our Wisdom

~ If a person is in Christ Jesus, the Wisdom of God lives in them. For Jesus is our wisdom. And if that person is seeking wisdom of God on anything, all they have to do is ask, believing (placing faith in) God to do what He said he would do, and it shall be given to them in abundance. All we need to do is to trust in Him to do what he said he would do. Most people will not even ask, for they are trusting in the wisdom of man for most things in life. They will trust in their own understanding of things, and the teaching of man, instead of going to the word of God in all things. Yet the word of God has much to tell us about everything. The word of God talks about creation, yet most people love idolizing the creation itself. Most don’t believe in a whole earth flood, yet the word of God talks about that in great detail, and even Jesus speaks of that too.
