~ Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in various tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, who apportions them to each one as He determines. 1 Corinthians 12:7-11

Classic Christianity – Gifts For The Church – Part 1 – 7-14-26

~ Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant. You know that when you were pagans, you were led even as to mute idols, being led astray. Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking in the Spirit of God says, “Jesus is accursed,” and no one is able to say, “Jesus is Lord,” except in the Holy Spirit.

Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of services, and the same Lord; and there are varieties of workings, but the same God who is working all things in all. 1 Corinthians 12:1-6

— God wants us to know exactly what our spiritual gifts are and what they are for. They are not for ourselves, but they are gifts for others. That is eye opening when you understand the Truth of this. We are gifts to each other in the body of Christ. We are to be available to be used by God, with our spiritual gifts at His disposal to be used by Him when He wants to use us. Think of Yourself With Sober Judgment

~ “Therefore I urge you, brothers, on account of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.a Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.

For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but think of yourself with sober judgment, according to the measure of faith God has given you. Just as each of us has one body with many members, and not all members have the same function, so in Christ we who are many are one body, and each member belongs to one another.

We have different gifts according to the grace given us. A Closer Look at The Truth About Prayer

God is the Initiator, We are Responders

~ “Father, glorify your name!”

Then a voice came from heaven, “I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.” The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to him.

Jesus said, “This voice was for your benefit, not mine. Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all people to myself.” He said this to show the kind of death he was going to die. John 12:28-33

~ In John 12:32 Jesus, God Himself is the one who draws ALL people to himself. How does He do that? By His Spirit He is constantly calling people to Himself. And know this, we don’t push God’s buttons, in some sort of vending machine prayer requests, to get God to do something for us. He is the initiator and we are responders. Only The Holy Spirit Can Teach You What the Word of God Means

~ “However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come. John 16:13

 When a person receives Jesus as God in the flesh, who took away all their sins on the cross, then the Holy Spirit comes into a person and gives them eternal life immediately at that point in time. And when a person has the Holy Spirit living in them, then the Spirit will guide us in ALL TRUTH. When you begin to exercise Faith in the word of God, you will begin to see the Truth of what is going on today. Many however refuse to place their faith in the word of God, and instead place faith in what Man says. And folks, this is key to everything. Jesus Gave Us New Commands of Belief and Love

Serve One Another in Love ~ Love is Jesus ~ Truth

~ Much of what we do today is skewed based on our misunderstanding of things. For example, the word Love as defined in the word of God is completely misunderstood today, even big time misunderstanding within the body of Christ too. We are told to serve one another in love, by following the way of Love. But here is where it gets important to understand what love is and what it is NOT. First off, we have to understand that Love lives in the true child of God today. We are told in the scriptures that Love is Jesus, and that He lives in every true child of God. That doesn’t mean that Love has a muzzle over their mouth. It doesn’t mean that Love is not a foreteller of truth.

And because of our misunderstanding of love, we let the flesh get in the way of allowing love to flow in and through us. We let our flesh talk to us, because truth seems too harsh a reality sometimes and we are worried what people may think of us.
