Bob is firm with truth from God’s word, yet extends such grace and tenderness to the callers. Some callers are calling on behalf of a friend while others are sharing from their own personal struggles. The first caller, Francisco, was puzzled about a friend’s predicament, delivered from such things as drugs and alcohol, yet seemingly unable to stop smoking. The second caller, Julie, admits she is a believer, but shares from her current life’s struggles. She eventually admits she is living in sin, but seems to be struggling to want to leave this life of sin, because she continues to choose to go back into sin. The third caller, Randy, is such an honorable man, who truly loves his wife, who also is a believer. Along life’s way she became overcome with pride, and that has contributed to their current legal separation and struggles, in addition to this fallen world we live in, with tribulations beyond our control. Classic Christianity – Book of John p4 (10-17-18)

Bob George TeachingBob George, continues his teaching from God’s word from the book of John. He has a passion to share insight from God’s word to help the listener walk in true freedom. Beginning with this very passage, Bob elaborates on foundation principles for walking in freedom. How do you overcome fear, depression and anxiety? These are problems common to all men, and Jesus alone knows how we are made and has the solution. Then, after a short break, he speaks on a subject titled “Prepared or Scared”. He exhorts believers to be prepared for tribulation to come and the importance of spiritual training, contrasting the training offered in the natural realm, such as universities or the corporate world, with an appeal to believers to show yourself as an approved workman, rightly dividing the word of truth.

In the first half of the sermon, Bob elaborates on a passage in John 2:23-25.
