Bob answers common questions by several callers. There is no sin accept that which is common to man and all of us are growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. So as the church, born again with an indwelling holy Spirit, we are to encourage and help one another as the Holy Spirit has taught and helped us. That is the motive of love behind all that Bob has labored for the benefit of the saints.

Jessie asked advice on whether it was okay to ask God for forgiveness. He never knew his earthly father and so was trying to discern how to relate to his heavenly Father. Bob George graciously shared that asking God for forgiveness is not exercising faith because Jesus already forgave us all our sins when he died 2000 years ago in our place. We now interact with God on the basis of grace, not on the basis of sin and death. You can talk to him about your sin so as to get counsel in how to live in the new life of faith He has given you. Bob answers questions on different heretical teaching in the world today. The callers called to get help in regards to a friend or relative who was caught up in dangerous teaching. Bob addressed the truth from scriptures that exposes the error in the thinking of men. He edifies and strengthens the believers in their faith in Christ and encourages them to hold onto truth and not be unsettled on these things. He points them to resources to help them grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, and to hold out the word of life to their friends or loved ones as the opportunity comes. Several books that callers thanked Bob for were “Classic Christianity”, “Growing in Grace”, “Complete in Christ”, and “Overcoming Depression”. He particularly recommended “A Scriptural Journey to Discover the Grace of God” to Junior to share with his father who is involved in the Apostolic Church. Bob George answers a call by Lori from Eugene, Oregon. Her first question was about the purpose of the Sabbath, as she was confused on the different passages of scriptures she had been reading. Bob explained from Hebrews and from Colossians, two passages of scripture that explains the Sabbath in light of the New Covenant of grace. The Sabbath of the Old Covenant was a shadow of the real Sabbath rest in Christ who completed the work he was sent to do. Since Jesus died to take away sins of the world, we, as children of God can rest from works of the law just as Jesus did from his. That is the real and true meaning of the Sabbath rest. Bob explains this concept of this Sabbath rest in Christ in detail.

After asking such a question, she admitted that she was manic depressive. Bob addressed the lie she is believing from the psychological babble of this world. People are depressed because they think depressing thoughts. People are anxious because they think about anxious things of the future. Bob George answers calls from listeners for over 30 years on People to People to radio, providing practical biblical insights to help them experience faith, hope and love in Jesus Christ. The first caller, Lauren, had a question about why Melchizedek is mentioned in Hebrews. Bob addresses his question by explaining the reason Hebrews is written. Thee second caller, Edwin, asked a question about the reason for water baptism and baptism of the Holy Spirit. Bob answers by explaining the meaning of being baptized of the Holy Spirit, and only that baptism saves you. The third caller, Mark, asked a question with his 8 year old daughter on the line, about children and salvation. Bob answered by stating that knowing the nature of God as perfectly loving and justice, then it is not something we need to be concerned about. He answers common and tough issues people face today, extending the same grace he received from God to listeners with the central message of Christ in you the hope of glory. The first caller, Jim, asked if faith is more important than love or if love is more important than faith, as he was pondering over the meaning of 1 Corinthians 13:2,13. The second caller, Lynn, wanted to know what the bible says about abortion. The last caller, Joe, had asked a question about assurance of salvation, but had since gone off the line. Although he was not on the phone directly, but hopefully listening in, Bob answered his question. While he answered his question, he provided information in regarding to a common misunderstanding of Hebrews 6:4-6.
