Bob George answers a call by Lori from Eugene, Oregon. Her first question was about the purpose of the Sabbath, as she was confused on the different passages of scriptures she had been reading. Bob explained from Hebrews and from Colossians, two passages of scripture that explains the Sabbath in light of the New Covenant of grace. The Sabbath of the Old Covenant was a shadow of the real Sabbath rest in Christ who completed the work he was sent to do. Since Jesus died to take away sins of the world, we, as children of God can rest from works of the law just as Jesus did from his. That is the real and true meaning of the Sabbath rest. Bob explains this concept of this Sabbath rest in Christ in detail.
After asking such a question, she admitted that she was manic depressive. Bob addressed the lie she is believing from the psychological babble of this world. People are depressed because they think depressing thoughts. People are anxious because they think about anxious things of the future. The basic deception from the world of psychology is to keep you thinking that what they say you have is so unusual so you will keep going to them while they keep making money off of you. What Lori was believing is not in accordance with truth from God. Why would scripture tell you not to be angry or not to be anxious, if such things were unusual? Bob reached out to Lori with truth and with probing questions to help her see that she has been duped in her thinking by the world. Why go to the ungodly for advice when you have truth from God? Why not go to the manufacturer, the one who made you and me, to understand how we think? So, by asking questions, Bob tried to steer her towards truth. She has been so accustomed to believing a lie, it was difficult for her to grab a hold of truth. Anxiety, depression and all those things are all common to man. As believers indwelling sin in the flesh did not go away, and so we do not do what we ought. But with the Holy Spirit living in you as a child of God, you can overcome sin, but never be able to perfectly stop sinning completely. There will always be a conflict between the Spirit and the flesh, but as our minds are renewed by the Holy Spirit, we grow in the knowledge and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. As we walk by the Spirit, a volitional choice, then we will not carry out the desires of the flesh. We live under grace and not law and so we are called a child of God with freedom to grow without fear of condemnation by the law. That is the life we live as a believer. She seemed receptive to want to learn, so Bob offered her audio tapes and a book titled, “Victory over Depression” to help her. He urged her to not argue with it, but to simply ask God, “If this is of you, Lord then I want you to teach me. If it isn’t, then I will cast those out?”
Several other callers called, one to simply thank Bob George. Another called about the signs and wonders type of teaching from Benny Hinn and Rodney Howard. Rodney Howard was the false teacher who started the holy laughter movement. Bob George urged her to tell the truth in love to her friend who was being drawn by such false teaching. This teaching is not of the Lord. He firmly told her to tell her friend that she is in a very, very dangerous pursuit and fooling around in cult activity. The caller was afraid to do what Bob was advising because that might offend her. Bob asked, “Do you love her? Then tell her the truth, and that is what you should tell her, because that is the truth.”
The last caller asked a question about women in ministry. Many women are great teachers. The only instruction from scripture is that a woman should not be in a position in authority over men. The greatest ministry a woman can do is minister at home to build strong families. From a strong family comes a strong church. Yet the world has deceived so many women that real ministry is out in the work-place among men. The world’s attraction, and the propaganda from media, has drawn women to think that what they do at home is insignificant or of lesser value.

Bob responded to Lori’s question on the Sabbath by sharing from Hebrews and Colossians.
Colossians 2:16-17
16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. 17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.
The Sabbath is foreshadowing of the reality in Jesus Christ. It is a shadow, not a reality. The real Sabbath is not a day of the week but every day of the week. Those hung up on Sabbath are also hung up on what you eat and drink. Christ is our Sabbath. The purpose of the Sabbath is to rest from our works just as God did from His.
Hebrews 4:9-11
9 There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10 for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. 11 Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.
What does that mean? If you are still trying to keep the law, then you are not resting from your works. He set aside the law so we can walk in the newness of life. As a child of God, if instead of walking in the Spirit, we decide to walk under the law, then we are not resting. There is no rest under the law. Under law, you are continually being commanded to do things you cannot do in the energy of your flesh. A Sabbath is a place of rest not a day of the week. God wants us to rest every day.
Hebrews 4:1-3
Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it. 2 For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed. 3 Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said,
“So I declared on oath in my anger,
‘They shall never enter my rest.’”
Let us make ever effort to enter that rest. This is not talking about a day of rest but entering His rest. This is an attitude of resting in the love, grace, mercy and kindness of God. As a child of God, you are resting that you been made into a perfect, sanctified, purified and complete human being. Lori then asked, “So I just have to walk in the Spirit and don’t sin?” Bob told her that is an unrealistic expectation, to completely stop sinning. While walking in the Spirit you will not be sinning, and if not, you will. As a child of God, you are learning how to enter that rest. If you understand what sin is, that it is not exercising faith, and how much is that, then you will be sinning.
Romans 14:23b
for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
Galatians 5:16
So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh
As you are learning to walk by faith, you will not carry out the desires of the flesh. Learning to walk by faith in the grace of God and the by-product is you will not fulfill the desires of the flesh. That does not mean the flesh will go away, because it won’t. That does not mean to clean yourself up and you be spiritual. You won’t.

His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
Philippians 2:13
for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.
2 Peter 1:4
Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
Christ has given me everything I need for live and godliness. He lives in me. I have the ability to participate in the divine nature but also the ability to participate in the desires of the flesh. That is conflict every believer has, the conflict between the desires of the flesh and the desires of the Spirit.
Galatians 5:17
For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.
The Holy Spirit is always working with us, teaching us and reminding us who we are. He asks you if your thinking is consistent with who you are as a child of God? Then you can answer, yes or no. If no, then you get up and sin no more. You cannot change what was done but you can choose to accept that yours sin were already nailed on the cross and taken away from the eyes of God, never to be remembered anymore. You live under grace and not law so that there is never any far of condemnation or being out of fellowship with God who perfectly loves you unconditional and has promised to never leave you or forsake you!
Hebrews 13:5
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
That sin was placed on the back of God 2000 years ago. So if you got drunk because you walked in the flesh, then what should you do? Now that you are a child of God, thank him for what he has already done for you. God just simply tells you to go and live soberly, and reminds you of the freedom you have to live responsibly because you are free.
Lori then remarked that she was a manic depressive so that is why she has a hard time understanding the scriptures. Bob flatly told her she is believing a lie. She is not manic depressive. What psychologist told you that and you believed him? You bought the gobble gook of the psychological world. God does not say you have manic depression. Whatever man thinks he, he will feel.
Proverbs 23:7
7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he
Depression is from what you place or comes into your mind. If you are sad, what are you thinking? Sad thoughts. Psychologist is an atheist or ungodly.
Psalm 1:1-2
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
If you are in Christ Jesus, stop listening to the ungodly for advice. If you ever felt sad, it is because you are thinking sad thoughts. If you ever felt depressed, then you are thinking depressing thoughts. If you are anxious, then you are thinking anxious thoughts about the future. That is how God made us. Why would God say, “Do not be anxious”?
Philippians 4:5-7
5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
So God already has the answer to your struggle in the flesh, of being anxious, and that is to redirect your thinking. Turn to Him in prayer with thanksgiving and make your requests be made known to Him. Is it not wiser to turn to God for advice than the ungodly psychologists? God knows what you need before you even ask.
The psychological profession makes everyone think what you have is unusual when they themselves face the same things. They do so to keep you coming back for medicine so they can make money off of you.
If there were anything unusual about being angry, then why would God say, “Do not let the sun go down on your anger.”
Ephesians 4:26
“In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry
Instead of anxiety and worry, which are sin, being unusual, God’s word says sin is common to man, and provides a way out of sin, but are you looking for the way out?
1 Corinthians 10:13
13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
The psychologist says, “You need to see me for the rest of your life to be normal.” That is a ploy from Satan, to keep you unproductive and unfruitful in the things of God. Quit altering your mind with drugs and replace lies with truth. If you were told you are a schizophrenic manic depressive, then you are believing a lie. We do not go to God for the solution for we have not bought what He said about the solution. That is being double-minded. One foot in the law and one foot in grace. People grow up in a religious system of legalism and Bob has spent much time teaching people truth to get out of that thinking and bondage. Do not buy this nonsense from the world. Paul explains the condition of fallen man, who still have the flesh to contend with on this earth even as a believer.
Romans 7:14-25
14 We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. 15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22 For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; 23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!
That is not a syndrome you have. The problem is sin lives in you. As Paul expressed the condition in sinful flesh, “24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!”.
Romans 8:1-4
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
Quit listening to garbage from the world and begin listening to God. God made you. You go to the manufacturer. If you want your car fixed right, you don’t got to a stranger, you go to the car manufacturer. So quit going to each other but go to the manufacturer. I cannot even help myself so how can I help you. So I point you to the one who can. If truth sets you free, then error is what binds you. People love to put labels on you so they can medicate you.
John 8:32
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Book recommended the book titled, “Victory over Depression”. So if you want to get well and get out of labels, then Bob would like to send an audio to help you. If we send this to you, will you listen to it? Do not try to argue with it, just say to God, “If this is of you, Lord then I want you to teach me. If it isn’t, then I will cast those out?” Jesus knows more about you than a shrink.

What does the bible say about women in ministry? There are many wonderful women teachers but just not to be put in a position of authority over a man. It is just in regards to position of leadership that women are instructed not to hold. God is more concerned about strong families. Strong families build a strong church. You can’t have a strong family when a woman dominates at home. So many try to discredit the bible saying that is archaic. Bible truth is universal in scope and is from God. Not that God will zap you for violating it, but certainly weaken the church if violate truth.

There is nothing biblical of what they are doing. If you cannot believe Jesus for resurrection then why would you believe in signs and wonders.
Matthew 12:39
He answered, “A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.
Luke 16:30-31
30 “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’
31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”
They do it so they will keep get money given to them. Stay away from such teaching. Christianity is not being silly. What is holy laughter? That is ridiculous.
In Matthew 24, people claim they to see Jesus. Don’t believe him.
They claim they are out being with Jesus but deny the truth in scripture.
Matthew 24:23-27
23 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time.
26 “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
Sonny asked, “How should I tell my friend who is into this silliness?” The Spirit of God lives in you and you cannot continue in error or promote error. They are lost. I would never deal with them on the basis they are saved. I would never assume they are saved. Tell your friend firmly, “You are on very very dangerous ground, fooling around in cult activity.” Sonny replied, “But I don’t want to offend her?” Do you love her? If you love her, then you have to tell her the truth.
