Synopsis

So often in our lives, we have been taught so many things that are just errors from denominational persuasions of men. Such pastors and other believers may be sincere and well meaning, but have not interpreted scripture correctly. But as you read through entire passages of scripture for yourself, allowing the Holy Spirit to teach you, you will begin to see truth that will set you free.

This is certainly true when it comes to teaching on the Lord’s supper. So many times, people are scared to death to even take the Lord’s supper for fear they have taken it in an unworthy manner, and therefore, will heap judgment on themselves. Oftentimes, people will introspect and even ask God to forgive them of their sins. This shows a huge lack of understanding on several fundamental truths, and how a misinterpretation of a passage of scripture has prevented thousands of people from celebrating the new covenant we are under today.

Jesus Wants to Give You Life

Synopsis

It is wonderful to have a friend to talk to or a person to call on the phone for the answers to life for those things that are bothering you. For a person who is struggling with understanding what the unpardonable sin is, whether he committed it or not, and seems to not have a firm grasp on truth, it is good for him to feel free and to be able to call someone up to get answers to those questions. They are important questions that have answers in the scriptures.

Or, if you are a parent, and you see your young child go off to college, but are disturbed by the choices he is making that could destroy his life, and you want advice to know how to help him now, because you love him. You want to get guidance on how to relate to him now, no longer as a parent since he is grown, but to be available to guide him because you love him. To be available to call to get such advice is a wonderful privilege.

Synopsis

Ponder how God made man, that he is made as body, soul and spirit. When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden, what happened? Due to sin, and God being holy, the Spirit of God departed from Adam and Eve. They knew what God had said, that the day they decided for themselves right from wrong and good from evil, that they would surely die. They died spiritually that day, so that they were separated from God. They hid from God out of fear. So, being born in that nature of Adam, that fear is ingrained in us, which is a part of what is called sin-indwelling flesh.

So what did God do to restore fallen mankind back to Himself. Out of love for us, He sent His Son into this world to take away the cause of our death, that fear in us, that knows that we deserve death for sin, so that we may freely come to God. God reached out in love to us, to do something for us we could never do for ourselves.

If we are honest with ourselves, when we try to love God, we know that it falls short. In reality, we do not have the ability on our own to love God. Our love for God can only be in response to how we perceive God. If we do not know Him, how can we love Him? Do we have the nature of God in us? Do you know His nature? Are you like God or different?

If you think God is mean, vindictive, uninvolved, hard-hearted, and uncaring, then how would you act toward God? If I thought God was mad at me when I sinned, ready to punish me, then would I be inclined to want to go to Him, or would I respond in fear of Him? If we know He is the powerful, creator of everything there is, yet see Him as so holy and we are not, and that we justly deserve to die for our sins, but do not know God, nothing of His nature and love, how do you think we would respond to God? Flesh and Blood Will Not Inherit the Kingdom of God

Synopsis

What an opportunity to hear truth from like-minded believers, sharing truth from God’s word, asking good questions to learn from the Lord through His word, with humble and gracious hearts. There is nothing so moving, encouraging and touching than to hear a believer tell her story of how truth was revealed to her, and how her life, and that of her family, was changed as a result. You can hear their enthusiasm and gratitude of heart. It encourages the body of Christ to hear such things.

There are things that you read from these scriptures that you just do not always have answers to, those non-essential things such as when you die, when will you get your new body, immediately after you die or at the time of the rapture, spoken about in 2 Thessalonians 4. If you have already died, you meet the Lord first in the air, and meet Him along with all those who are still alive.
