The Day You Were Born Again, You Received God’s Holy Spirit!

~ The Day of Pentecost spoken of in the book of Acts (fifty days after Jesus’ resurrection was the first Pentecost). Prior to that date nobody was born again of the Spirit of God. That’s important for us to understand, because that marks the day the whole world changed for Man. We should be jumping for joy, and realizing we are a new creature in Christ Jesus when we each had our day of Pentecost! The apostles certainly became aware of something different in their lives on that very day. They also became BOLD in the Spirit of God!

Are You Telling it Like it Is? Are You in Christ Jesus?

~ Today, there are lots of milquetoast “Christians” that don’t tell it like it is. They are either afraid of their place in their flesh, or maybe they are not saved in the first place. Our attitude should be that of Christ Jesus, if the Holy Spirit is alive living in the person today. Jesus told it like it is to those that thought they knew it all. He spoke to those that were dead with what the Father told him to say. Today, if you are in Christ Jesus, you have the same Holy Spirit living in you too. Allow Him to tell it like it is through you!

You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. Take Off The Grave Clothes

Take Off The Grave Clothes!

~ Many people today are walking around with their old grave clothes hanging on to them. They live as though they are still under the law, pretending, being hypocrites that they are somehow obeying the law of God. They have one foot in the law and the other foot in grace, trying to straddle both sides of the fence, holding on to the old grave clothes.

~ The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.” John 11:44

~ “The purpose of the law was a mirror to show me my face is dirty. But you cannot wash your face in a mirror. You use the mirror to identify your condition. And then you turn to Christ Jesus for the cleansing, do you not? You don’t go to a wash rag to see if your face is dirty. You go to a mirror, you go to the wash rag to cleanse your face. The Holy Spirit Comes to Live in You Immediately When You Are Born Again

~ There are some people today that believe and teach they get the Holy Spirit sometime later after they are born again. The misunderstanding in that they don’t understand what being born again is in the first place, and also a misunderstanding of being baptist with the Spirit of God, of being placed into the body of Christ Jesus when a person is born again of the Spirit of God.

~ “You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.” Romans 8:9

Once You Are Born Again of The Holy Spirit, You Cannot be Unborn

~ “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” John 3:6

~ Many people today believe that they can lose their salvation, because they really don’t understand what salvation is. Salvation is NOT getting your sins forgiven. Salvation is receiving eternal life the very moment a person places faith in Jesus. If Jesus did not die for all of your sins on the cross, then the very moment a person sinned again he would lose his life. But that cannot happen, because Jesus died for ALL sins, not just some sins, but the sins of the whole world.

~ “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” 1 John 2:2

Born Again by Faith in Jesus

When You Are Born Again, The Holy Spirit Comes to Live in You Immediately!

~ We are told once again that Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Jesus. And for us (those who place faith in Jesus), resurrection happens immediately upon being born again of the Spirit of God. God’s Spirit brings life to our spiritual death. We have eternal life at that very moment in time.

~ Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25

~ “But Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. And he who believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live, and whosoever lives and believes in me, will never die. Now there again, he’s talking about two completely different kinds of death.
