I couldn’t help thinking as we’re beginning the broadcast today, that we’ve said so many times that in my opinion, the fastest way to grow spiritually is in a small group home Bible study. A number of years ago here in this country, I had the opportunity to talk to, about probably I think it was around 16 pastors from Britain who were over here at a conference. And as I went around speaking to them, I asked them the question, where did you really grow? And when did you grow in your spiritual experience? And the one pastor said, well, I was in college, and I was in a small group Bible study and that’s where I grew. What about you? Well, I was here and I was in a small group Bible study.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Allow the Holy Spirit to Teach You ALL TRUTH

Trust in the Holy Spirit to teach you all truth. Don’t depend on what man says or what man teaches, for someone can be teaching you error. Be as a Berean, and study the word of God to see if things are as they claim to be taught. Learn in context and rely on the Holy Spirit to renew your mind. We have been taught much error through the years in our lives, and if we trust on our flesh to teach us, then we are relying on our own understanding of things instead of God. Reminder, for all those in Christ Jesus, we have the mind of Christ living in us. Trust in Him to teach you ALL TRUTH.

Welcome to Classic Christianity radio with Bob George today. Children, born not of natural descent. In other words, not born out of water, not born out of the will of your mom and dad nor of human decision or a husband’s will. Husband’s will, we’re going to have a baby. That’s not the kind of birth He’s talking about. Let’s talk about, but born of God. Now, let me read that again yet to all who received Him to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God, children born not of natural descent, you’re of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

So, folks, when we are born of God, we have a new identity. Now, when we are born of a husband’s will or of natural descent, well, we’ve got an identity of my father. In other words, my dad was Franklin George. My name is Bob George.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

This study is paramount in your understanding of your assurance of your salvation and in your assurance of faith. Listen in to today’s message , and pass the message on to others.

It’s in His resurrection. And again, I state what Paul stated so clearly, that without the resurrection we are still in our sins and to be pitied of all people, even though in His physical form He died for the forgiveness of sins. Had it not been for the resurrection there would have been no resurrected life available to you and me. And folks, the object of the cross, which was his death; was to be able to give us life through His resurrection. And so He said that I’m going to go away and when I do there’s something brand-new that’s going to occur on this world and in this world.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Led by the Spirit – Not Under Law

Let’s continue on our journey in a Closer Look at the Reality of the Resurrection. Bob picks up where he left off and shares some heartfelt thoughts on the matter.

Bob: I don’t think that I’ve personally in my 20 some years in the ministry have had any more fun than what I have had in teaching through these Bible study series. I started out as a brand new Christian and teaching whole Bible studies and it’s always just been something that has been terrifically a part of my life. Why, I guess I’m able to do what I do on the radio. Every night is the preparation work that God did in my life in those home Bible studies. Because all our radio broadcasts are to me just a great big old Bible study across the country. And having the privilege of taking these Fridays to teach on the air has been a privilege, beyond privilege to me. We debated on that for many years, if you remember about whether to do that, and we kept getting request after request from people in which, would you take time to teach an entire hour on the very things that you’re teaching through the week.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
