Jesus Forgave (Past Tense) The Sins of the Whole World!

~ “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” ^{1 John 2:2}

~ Yet, so many people do not believe or teach this. They want to implement their own plan for forgiveness, instead of trusting in God and His plan of forgiveness and eternal life by faith in Him and His finished work on the cross. Jesus said it is FINISHED! Now believe it and receive His Eternal Life in you.

Grace is The Plan of God of Salvation For You and Me

~ “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” ^{2 Corinthians 5:21}

~ “So when I see the grace of God, I see the grace of God more than just God’s unmerited favor. I believe that, obviously that is a part of what grace is all about. But I see, Bob that as I get above that, that I see grace as the ultimate plan of God. The law, there was a plan for the law, there was a reason for it. There’s a purpose for it. The Plan of God – Jesus Fulfilled It

Hebrews gives a panoramic view of God’s dealing with mankind and the final solution in Jesus Christ. When you think of the Old Testament, what thoughts come to your mind? Have you looked at it close enough to realize how patient and long-suffering God was with mankind? Do you think of God as an angry God ready to pounce on you when you sin? If you do, then you have not properly understood the heart of God and the purpose for which he came.

As you read about the continual failures of mankind, do you think God was surprised at that? Man was already born dead, without the Spirit of God in him. God, knowing all that, had a plan to restore mankind back to a relationship with Himself. See man is hopeless and dead in his trespasses and sins. So out of great love for mankind, God sent His Son, at the right time, to enter this world. Synopsis

Do you have a plumbline to gauge whether something is true? The word of God is the plumbline for truth, to gauge our lives so that we are not ensnared and trapped in error in our thinking but can submit to God and resist the lie and live in truth. The battle in the world today, as in Jesus day, and since the beginning of time, has been the battle for the mind. That is where temptation starts.

Temptation is getting you to doubt what God has said, to doubt that God has the best in mind for you, and to believe that someone other than God has the answers to life, that someone else can give you what you need rather than God, or that you can meet your own needs and live independently of God, or even that He is not God. Satan has so deceived mankind that we have become slaves to the god of this world, who is Satan, where we experience so much heartache and pain.
