Power of Resurrection – Part 1

~ “And these all, having been commended through the faith, did not receive the promise, God having planned something better for us, so that not apart from us, they should be made perfect.” Hebrews 11:29,40

It is so important that we understand today, that we who are in Christ Jesus have indeed received the promise of the Holy Spirit of God. For when we became born again of the Spirit, the Holy Spirit came and gave us God’s Life immediately upon Faith in Him and what Jesus did on the cross for us. This is the reason the resurrection is so important to understand. The very same Life that raised Jesus from the dead is the same Life that comes to live in us when we too become born of God. We receive the promise.

Now remember, old testament saints did NOT receive the promise prior to their falling asleep. They had to wait their turn till after the cross. God Has Reconciled Us All to Himself in Christ Jesus

~ “For at just the right time, while we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Therefore, since we have now been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from wrath through Him! For if, when we were enemies of God, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life! Not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.” Romans 5:6-11

~ Jesus, God took care of the sin issue at the cross. He Reconciled the world to himself, while everyone was still a sinner. He took away the sins of the world. Follow Jesus to The Cross and Resurrection

Jesus Was Born of Flesh, Jesus Died in the Flesh, Jesus Was Resurrected in Flesh and Will Return in Flesh

~ Jesus sets the record straight, when he returned from the dead, He had a physical body and has a physical body today. He pointed out to witnesses that it was He in the flesh. He was not simply a spirit or a ghost, but he has a physical body. Even the apostle Thomas had to be convinced that Jesus had a real physical body that he could touch and see. He wanted to place his fingers in the side of Jesus to verify it was really him. Thomas said, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.” But the key here is that Jesus does indeed have a physical body. Blessed are those that see with spiritual eyes today. And someday too, we shall be given our glorified new body of flesh and bone. Jesus is Our Ark of Salvation That Saves Us

~ “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” Romans 5:10

~ “No, they were saved through the water, they were saved through the water. The water is not an instrument of life. It’s an instrument of death. If you’re in water, and you’re not in an ark, why you’re in tough shape. So it’s talking about the people who did who disobeyed long ago and God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. And in it the ark, only a few people eight in all were saved through water. And that means you’re saved through the water, they were in a flood, they were saved through the flood, they were saved in the flood, because they were in the ark. This water. Yeah, that was the water didn’t save them, the Ark saved them. They were saved through the water. And this water symbolizes the baptism that now saves you also. Jesus is Love: Perfect Love Drives Out Fear

~ “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love” 1 John 4:18

“I can tell you where your anger comes from. Anger comes from fear. And anger is a secondary response to fear. And men don’t like to admit they’re fearful. So they just take it up and angry. They don’t mind saying I’m angry. But anger is just a sign of the fears that are within you. It could be the fear of again, of not being able to stay sober. Fear of not being able to live the kind of life you want to live, fear of people finding out what’s really going on under the skin. There’s a lot of things that we live in fear. And there’s only one solution. And I say that very emphatically one and one alone, one solution to fear. And that’s the perfect love of God perfect love casts away all fear, not some fear, but all of it. Repent and Come Back to the Real Gospel: Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus

In today’s first callin, we hear from Ann in Houston, Texas. She wanted to share her appreciation with Bob in regards to a recent radio program in dealing with people with cancers and the fears that doctors are instilling into their patients. It’s also important to remember that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and further to remember that we are all going to be absent from the body and present with the Lord for all those in Christ Jesus. Listen in as Bob and Ann discuss what is going on with doctors today. Nothing has changed, and if anything things have gotten worse. We need to be prepared for the crises that are sure to come into our lives, and it is vitally important that we understand who we are in Christ Jesus and the word of God. So many times, people are not prepared for crisis, because they do not even know the word of God.
