Jesus Opened Their Minds to Understand the Scriptures (1)

Classic Christianity – The Reason for Pentecost – Part 1 – 3-23-26

~ Jesus said to them, “These are the words I spoke to you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about Me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms.” Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures. Luke 24: 44,45

~ When you realize the Truth of who Jesus is, God in the flesh, and what He did on the cross for you, took away all your sins and is no longer counting any of them against you, and you place Faith in Him, He comes to give His Spirit of Life to you. And your mind begins to be instructed directly by Him. And it is an amazing journey, because forgiveness is just the beginning of your understanding of Everything in the Scriptures. For we are told we have the mind of Christ Jesus living directly in us.

And times are a changing. We Are a New Creation in Christ Jesus

Classic Christianity – The Greatest Story – Part 3 – 3-18-26

~ “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!” 2 Corinthians 5:17

~ It’s time to stop playing church. It’s time to make a decision. Have you come to have a personal relationship with Jesus Himself? Do you really know Him? Do you understand what He truly did on the cross for you? Have you really placed Faith in Him, or have you given lip service to the word of God itself? Faith is being sure of something and properly responding to that. “that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” 2 Corintians 5:19 is the very heart of the gospel message. Place Faith in Jesus, God in the flesh to have taken away all your sins at the cross, so that through Faith in Him that He will make you a brand new creation in Christ Jesus. When that happens in your life, EVERYTHING changes.

Jesus Makes us Into New Creations

Classic Christianity – The Greatest Story – Part 2 – 3-17-26

~ “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!” 2 Corinthians 5:17

~ Share the story of Truth today. People need to hear the Truth of the word of God. Because it is certainly NOT being taught in brick and mortar churches. Most have not placed faith in the finished work of Christ Jesus. They have a head knowledge about Jesus, but do not have a heart knowledge. They have no clue what salvation even is, because they most likely have been brought up in satan’s lies of religion their whole life. And most of those people have never heard the Truth that God is no longer counting their sins against them today. Because if a person truly places faith in this FACT, then they would NOT be doing religion. They would come out from the lies and into the world of TRUTH. And God would have made them a new creation. One that has the Spirit of God living in them and through them to show them ALL Truth. The Book of Hebrews

Classic Christianity – The Greatest Story – Part 1 – 3-16-26

~ “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. He will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” Genesis 3:15

~ The overview of the story of Jesus is given in Genesis 3:15. And God fulfilled it, when Jesus was born of a virgin, died on the cross for ALL of our sins, rose from the dead on the third day, and brought His resurrected Life to live in the True believer when a person places Faith in Him, Jesus God in the flesh who did what He said He would do. That person becomes born again of the Spirit of God, and all things become NEW.

Details matter in everything, and words also matter, especially in the word of God. Pay attention to the details. Because we were ALL deceived. And it’s important that we understand the following details that are coming to the light of TRUTH.

It’s important that we understand, that HEBREWS are not Jews. Most do not understand the significance of the fact that Hebrews are not Jews and Jews are NOT Hebrews. Repentance is a Change of Mind

Classic Christianity – What Counts is a New Creation – Part 3 – 3-11-26

~ “Therefore, having left the beginning teaching of the Christ, we should go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, and faith in God,” Hebrews 6:1

~ Folks, we have all had to repent from our dead works. Those that have repented (changed their mind) in regards to ongoing forgiveness, have gone on to maturity, and are no longer declaring God a liar in regards to what He said is finished. Forgiveness has been completed for everyone. Now accept it, and not just accept it,but use proper faith reasoning skills. “Come let us reason together says the Lord.” If the Holy Spirit lives in you, he will constantly be renewing your mind about everything. And as you mature in the Lord, you will be repenting (changing your mind) about numerous things in the future. The foundation is Jesus and His forgiveness and Life that you receive when you place faith in Him. The result is that will change your world as you know it, and He will begin the process of renewing your mind at that very point in time. Woe to Teachers of the Law

Classic Christianity – What Counts is a New Creation – Part 2 – 3-10-26

~ “Whoever keeps the whole law but stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.” James 2:10

~ When dealing with self proclaimed law keepers, they love to tell you they keep the law. However, when you show them point blank they do not and cannot keep the law, they accuse you of telling people to be law breakers as though we are telling people to go out and break laws. How much sense does that even make, especially when the Holy Spirit lives in a person? Yet they place no faith in the Holy Spirit themselves. For most, it is obvious to us who know the Truth in regards to living in the New Covenant today, it becomes obvious that the law has NOT done its work in these self proclaimed law keepers. They will typically throw a tanturm and get mean as a stirred up hornets nest. They do not like being confronted with Truth. And that should not surprise us, because the Pharisees did not like Jesus confronting them either with Truth.
