Words, “word”, and “Word”: Un-Scrambling the Cleansing of the Vessel

📖 “And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” — 1 Corinthians 6:11
📖 “You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.” — John 15:3
📖 “…to sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word…” — Ephesians 5:26

1. The Threefold Linguistic Distinction: Words, “word”, and “Word”

To understand how Scripture describes the cleansing and sealing of the believer, we must first un-scramble three distinct terms that English translation overlays frequently lump together:

  • 1. “Word” (Capitalized Singular — Ho Logos):
Refers exclusively to the living, uncreated Person of King Jesus Himself (John 1:1, 14; Revelation 19:13). Ho Logos in the singular is the eternal Son of God made flesh—the living Vine to whom every believer is organically fused (John 15:5).
  • 2. “word” (Lowercase Singular — Ton Logon / Rhēma):
Refers to the spoken declaration, decree, or Gospel message of truth communicated by God (John 15:3; Ephesians 5:26).

Jesus Sanctifies Believers Through Truth

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P1043 (06-20-25)

Stop Listening to Satan’s Lies, and Instead Focus on TRUTH

~ “Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth.” John 17:17

When being attacked by the devil, we need to focus on the Truth of the word of God. Because the attacks will come from all areas of our lives. It will even come from those around us that are believing in Satan’s lies also. And they become spokespeople for satan, whether they realize it or not. Because they will be sharing the lies of the devil. So we need to focus on the Truth of the word of God in EVERYTHING! “Because to us the wrestling is not against blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”Ephesians 6:12 It’s so easy to get off course and continue believing the lies of Satan. And most people have no idea how much Satan has infiltrated everything today. So seek out the TRUTH in ALL things. Focus on the Word, Jesus and pray for wisdom and understanding in ALL things.

Victory Over Depression Begins With The Truth ~ Jesus!

~ “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32

~ Bob George
“Well, Matthew, you know, again, you’re down to that simple truth that if the premise is off, your findings are going to be off. Sure. My sister recently was put into the hospital, she was admitted into the hospital with pneumonia. She didn’t have pneumonia. And so what they the medications they gave her messed her up, she had something far more severe than pneumonia. They’ve discovered cancer. And so the issue is but somebody diagnose pneumonia and then the treatment was off why the premise was off. And so it’s the same thing. We come from a premise that number one, all feelings come from thought. We were designed that way by God. Now, a lot of times when you first expressed this to people, it is so obvious, but it is it’s life changing to grab a hold of that all of your thoughts come pray, excuse me, your feelings are designed by God to predictably to respond to whatever we’re thinking.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus Took Away The Sins of The World! Place Faith in The Word of God.

~ It’s time to change our minds about Jesus and what he did on the cross. He took away the sins of the world. Do you believe that? Or are you giving lip service to it? Most people say they believe it, but then they don’t place actual faith in it, for they go back to their confession booth or 1 John 1:9-ing to get their sins forgiven over and over again the same as in the days of the old covenant and the sacrificial system. They call God a liar. We must repent, change our minds on this key aspect of the word of God. Allow the Holy Spirit to renew your mind. Come let us reason together declares the Lord. Share the truth of the word of God with family and friends. The New Covenant and What About 1st John 1:9 are two excellent resources for sharing the word of God with others. Jesus God The Creator Made All Things

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P03 (02-08-23)

The Word, Jesus Became Flesh

~ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

We Are Under the NEW Covenant of Grace Not the Old Covenant of the Law

~ “For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.” Hebrews 9:15

~ Thank God, He is NOT counting my sins against me!

~ “And we’re told in Hebrews. Let me just read, it’s hard to read when you’re in the wrong chapter, Hebrews 9:15, do you want to turn to it. For this reason He is the mediator of a New Covenant in order that since a death had taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of in eternal inheritance. For where a covenant is, there must of necessity be the death of the one who made it. So what did Jesus have to do before he got usher in a New Covenant, a new agreement between God and man. Had to die. And when he died, he ushered in a New Covenant.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
