Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P836 (05-19-23)

Only By Faith in Christ Jesus is a Person Saved ~ Water Baptism Can’t Save Anyone

~ John the Baptist said, “I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” Matthew 3:11

~ “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” John 3:36

~ Anyone that adds to their salvation by faith in Jesus alone for salvation is not saved. Today, we have multiple groups of people that believe a person must do something other than place faith in Christ Jesus. Some believe in ongoing forgiveness. Some believe in speaking in Tongues. Others believe that they must be baptized in their church and a very specific way to be saved. Quite frankly, it is hypocrisy to even think that way, for what makes their “church” so special and their baptismal water more special than that of a swimming pool? Folks that believe in water baptism for salvation are deceived into thinking that they must do something beyond their faith in Jesus in order to be saved.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Walking in the New Covenant

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P835 (05-18-23)

We Walk in The New Covenant Today, Not The Old

~ “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” 2 Timothy 3:16

~ It is so important for us to understand the New Covenant that we live under today. For there are those out there that are still trying to live under the Old Covenant, as though that is in affect today. While all scripture (old and new) is given by inspiration of God, yet it is extremely important that we understand the context of all of God’s word. For example, understanding that for a person trying to live under the 10 Commandments, God is looking at the heart. No one ever lived a perfect life (other than Jesus), never breaking the 10 commandments. And Jesus gave examples of how God looks at the heart, and how everyone breaks the 10 commandments. This is why we need Jesus for our righteousness.

~ “You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus God in Flesh is Truth

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P45 (05-17-23)

Grace and Truth Comes From God, Jesus Christ

~ For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ John 1:17

~ For those that do not hear the Spirit of Truth, they do not belong to Jesus. They do not have the Holy Spirit living in them. There are those that will always listen to the spirit of flasehood and error. They will not repent (change their mind), because of pride of self. They believe in their heart they know better than God.

~ “We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.” 1 John 4:6

~ “When people are fighting against truth, it’s because they don’t possess the author of truth. And we have to understand that. You have people today who are adamantly fighting against the message of the grace of God. Why would you be fighting the message that God came to deliver to us? Moses came to give us law. But Jesus came to teach us grace.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

People Would Rather Believe Lies Than Listen to Truth From The Spirit of God

~ But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14

~ When a person abides in the Holy Spirit of God, if the Holy Spirit lives in them, they will be shown Truth. However, the flesh still tends to get in the way with even born again believers in Christ Jesus. Reminder, we were born into a world filled with lies.

As believers, we have given lip service to verses that show Satan has controlled the kingdoms of this world including the U.S. Most don’t have a clue of how deep the deception is, because we were born into it. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you ALL truth, and He said he would. Lean not on your own understanding of ALL things (of what you have been taught). For what we have been taught in this world is a lie and has been used as controlled opposition by Satan down through the ages. And don’t forget, Satan has been around a long time, and he knows things we do not.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus is The Truth Setting You Free

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P43 (05-15-23)

The Enemy of Truth (Jesus) Are The Things of This World Controlled by Satan’s Lies

~ As he spake these words, many believed on him. Then said Jesus to those Judaeans [Ἰουδαίους (Ioudaious)] which believed on him, “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:30-32

~ Many times, when Jesus spoke to groups of people, there were both those that believed on Him and those that did not believe on Him. We see this happening right here in the word of God. Between John 8:30-32 and John 8:33. We can see the later group’s response that did NOT believe on Jesus in John 8:33. Jesus has many warnings for that group of people that carries over till today. It takes the Holy Spirit of God to understand the meaning and significance of what is being said by Jesus and also to understand those that did not place faith on him as to their questions they were asking. Today, we have the same battle going on between Satan and God, between lies and Truth.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus Forgave You Once For All Sins

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P834 (05-12-23)

Without The Shedding of Blood There is No Forgiveness! Jesus Died Once For ALL Sins!

~ “In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.” Hebrews 9:22

~ There is a bottom-line conclusion required to responding to the word of God today. Are you going to place faith in Jesus and the fact that Jesus, God said it is finished at the cross, or are you going to continue to be a mouthpiece for Satan and spread the controlled opposition lies of ongoing forgiveness? For it doesn’t matter, Catholic or Protestant or any religionist, for All of them are teaching the lie of ongoing forgiveness. And now that you know the truth, are you going to promote TRUTH, or those that you know preach error in this very key position involving the Finality of the Cross? Is your faith in the teaching of man, or the teaching of God? Ask the Holy Spirit to show you Truth and help you to understand ALL truth.

~ “But you know, Carl, it is truly something, I was today and I started a Bible study at home Bible study here in Dallas.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
