The Peace of God

Classic Christianity – Right Now! – Part 2 – 5-19-26

~ “But I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you⁺ soon, that I also may be of good spirit, having known the things concerning you. For I have no one like-minded, who genuinely will care for the things concerning you. For those all seek the things of themselves, not the things of Jesus Christ. But you know his proven worth, that as a child with a father he served with me in the gospel. Therefore indeed I hope to send him immediately, when I shall have seen the things concerning me. Jesus Wants His Love to Flow Through Us

Classic Christianity – Right Now! – Part 1 – 5-18-26

~ “Therefore if you have any encouragement in Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being united in Spirit and purpose.

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.” Phillipians 2:1-4

~ Jesus Himself is our Spirit of Love one to another. We are to encourage each other in Christ Jesus. We are to comfort one another with His Love living in and through us. We are to have fellowship with the same Spirit, for all who are in Christ Jesus. Be like-minded by understanding His Love and forgiveness that was given to you. Extend that Love and forgiveness to others. Know and understand the Truth about the word of God. Share with others. Consider others more important than yourself. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride in self.

Stand in the Righteousness of Jesus

~ But now, apart from the law, the righteousness of God has been revealed, as attested by the Law and the Prophets. And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Romans 3:21-24

A child of God is righteous in the sight of God not based on anything they do, but EVERYTHING Jesus did. And when God looks at us, He sees Christ in us, through the Holy Spirit, and as such, we are to be who we are. Stop walking as the lost do. Stop listening to the flesh, that is stroked by satan and the things of the world today. Put off falsehood. Stop pretending you are goody two-shoes, and tell exactly what is going on in the world today. Quit supporting those who are self-righteous in the sight of God. In Jesus We Are New Creations

Lifted by Encouragement Part 2

~ Put off your former way of life, your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be renewed in the spirit of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:22-24

When we are placed into the body of Christ Jesus, and He has placed His Spirit into us, we are to stop focusing on our old self. That was the way we thought in the past, before we came to know Jesus and before the Holy Spirit came to live in us, but now we are to operate in the New self, the New Creation in Christ Jesus, through the Spirit who lives in you. Stop with the idea of doing it “my way.” Stop with the thinking that “I am always right.” Stop with the attitude that of propping myself up in the world. Stop with the pride of showing off. Stop with the fleshly desires that are stroked by Satan and the demons of the world.
